ok,so I want animal crossing for christmas but I showed it to my mom and she said it looks like a game where ur friends have to have it too and none of my friends have a DS.So my question is can u play it without your friends playing it too? Plz post! (mods if this is spam plz close)

so like if I found someone on vmk that I am friend with I can give them a friend code or can I play it with no friends or what?

u can play it with no friends i already have the game so u can play with or without friends

Animal Crossing Over All Does Not Need Friends To Play. You Can Already Do Alot In There Other Than Do Things With Friends. The Village That You Will Live (and name) In Will Have It's Own Villagers (animals, that is) That You Can Talk To..

You can exchange friend codes with someone on the internet and play with them if you have a router or from a McDonalds that is a partner spot. But keep in mind that there is not a restrictive dictionary like in VMK, so it is important to make sure that you know the people are trustworthy and you should still not exchange personal information.

The game is not designed to rely on having friends that play. Actually, the animals in the game become friends with your character. Anytime you travel to someone else's town or they visit your town one of your neighbors may move away, so in the Gamecube version I never let anyone visit and I didn't visit other people. (except for one time to improve the local store).

It is a great game whether or not you know anyone else that plays!

in Animal Crossing for Game Cube, the animals aren't you, are your friends. They are digital animals that are played by computers. YOU Are the little person

if it is like the gamecube version you will not need friends to play at all. you will also be able to play this game online if you have wireless internet or if you buy the adapter that they have (or is it still yet to come out) but either way you wont need friends, friends will just be added fun.
