Hey everyone!

I was reading another Disney board and it said that today they brought in new ears to WDW. Some with tye-dye and a head band version of the golden ears. Has anyone seen them? (probably not yet, unless you're near the park :D ) They sound cool!

But what I'm wondering is: are they still selling the plain old gold ears? and if not, does that mean no more gold ears codes? I'm going soon and were hoping to get a pair for my character! Anyone heard anything?

Not that I know of, but I am pretty far from either parks to hear anything about them. Ill keep my ears open :) Sounds cool :D

The virtual Gold ears obtained with a code come from the purchase of ANY hat. I am not sure if only a few stores offer them, or all locations that sell hats( I have seen conflicting info). Any hat will get you a gold hat code for your VMK character. Do not fear:heart8:

you can pretty much get a gold ear code if you buy any hat at disneyland in the correct shop, and if not gold if u buy mickeyears in the park u can get them at those stores.

with that said, yes disneyland (and probably wdw) now has this tie-dye looking ears, and they are comming out with a christmas pair. there is also another multi-colored pair which i believe has disney characters on it. they are available throughout the park.

well i live close to WDW and we are going over the weekend so i will see and probaly get all the good stuff for me charecter so i will let u know as soon as i get back so if i see the new ears which i have heard alot about and i will probaly buy them so i can get the code for them so then i will have them for my player :)

Much nicer...I actually got a FREE pair of special gold ears (dated and a different front) at Disneyland's real birthday celebration (and a cupcake...YUM!), so I haven't bought the ones they sell...

they had them at the inn between for a while. i learned one thing from that. cupckaes and fried chicken don't mix

I agree. The new ears are... interesting. I saw them last time I was there. The minnie 5oth headband is sparkly and very cute. I also saw the tie-dye ears.. it's the hat part that is tie-dye with the ears in black I think or with characters on them. Hopefully someone will get a pic of them, I don't have a digital.

I had to wait a total of 10 straight hours to get that limited edition pin, not fun waiting in that heat.

The Tye-Dye ears are in fact at WDW. I saw them for sale today (Friday) at Animal Kingdom in the Island Merchantile.

Im going to go to DLR this week so ill see if they have them there.. i would doubt it but what ever.

i will never get anything from disney coz i will never go:(

Yes, I have also seen those ears at Disneyland. They still have the Gold ears too.
