View Full Version : Harry Potter Scorcerer Ears Hat
SnowPrince 11-17-2005, 08:52 PM I was just thinking, if you see Harry Potter this weekend and you have the Scorcerer Ears, wear it at VMK. That way we will know who saw and who didn't. Just an idea.
:wave2:
Ok saw it loved it. And I knew a lot would be missing but that is the price you pay for a film. And I like what they are doing with Neville. He is a good actor and deserves the screen time. Anyway, missed S.P.E.W., screwts, and more Quidditch Cup, but hey, that is what the books are for.
bunnygoogles 11-17-2005, 08:54 PM that would be great im going to see it but no sorcerers hat

Midnight i can Understand..IMAX..now that makes me Jealous
Oathkeeper 11-18-2005, 01:06 AM I'm seeing it tomorrow at the seven o'clock show! I'm soo excited!
I really wouldn't want to go the midnight showing of the movie. It's different than the books where I DEFINATELY would (also note that the last two came out during the summer). Harry' s great and everything, but the intense pain of waking up the next day is a bit south of flattering, and it's only the movie...
Regardless, I can't WAIT until tomorrow at 4 when we get to the theater and go insane. =D

i am so glad we got the tickets in advance. Our local theater had a sign on the ticket counter thing "No refunds or exchanges for Harry Potter tickets in advance" xD So yeah. Me and my friend are going tomorrow.
I would want to go at midnight, but there are some phyco people who go at midnight. That and its a school night....
TheIdolMara 11-18-2005, 01:50 AM Woot! I'm going (or leaving the house I should say) in 4 hours!! Woot!! i have to make cookies to pass the time LOL my sister and I are so excited!! Woot we did buy tickets in advance ;)
Xucid 11-18-2005, 02:17 AM im gonna see it at least twice once tonight at midnight and once in imax.
ShakespeareGirl 11-18-2005, 10:26 AM I just got back from seeing it and all I can say is wow!
BLSALSA 11-18-2005, 11:12 AM Yes...the movie was really, REALLY, REALLY good...this one is definitely my favourite...and I'm a picky movie goer...there is a bit of a disappointment, but I won't spoil it for anyone - just that they left out a lot of really great parts of the book...but it was soo worth going to the midnight showing...now I'm going to see it in IMAX...the effects were wonderful...and loads of funny parts...really good movie this one!:) I hope everyone enjoys it!
Annientink 11-18-2005, 11:28 AM I am going to go see it in IMAX over Thanksgiving break probably. I won't be able to see it today(opening day), but waiting a little less than a week won't hurt.
Wiggins 11-18-2005, 11:34 AM I just got back from seeing it too and all I can say is where were the house elves??? No Dobby?! No Winky?! How can the House-elf Liberation Front move forward with out the masses knowing about the plight of these house elves? These little sock loving cuties deserve just as much screen time as that nitwit Neville Longbottom. And to give him credit for something that Dobby did? Ridiculous!
No Blast-ended skrewts? I'm ok with that. No Professor Trelawney? That I can deal with. No S.P.E.W.? Preposterous!
Besides that, I loved the movie and I'm glad I got to go to a midnight showing! It was a night filled with well-mannered frivolity. :sorcerer8

Ah, but you have to remember: House Elves means more work for the special effects team, and more time added to the already 2 hours and 45 minutes of the movie...not that I'd be complaining, of course! However, for the time they were given, and the information they chose to include in the movie, I think they did pretty good. Don't get me wrong, I wanted S.P.E.W. as well...but if something had to go, better that than many of the other parts.
The movie was amazing, by the way. Best one yet. !!!!!!!!!!

Well nothing like a few non-labeled spoilers to ruin things for some folks. I think this thread should now be relabeled please. :D
We will take our kids when the mad rush has died down.

Hey greenhpper. I hope I didn't ruin the movie for you. I actually posted in another Harry Potter thread that maybe "spoiler" should be added to the title of that one too 'cause someone posted an actual spoiler.
I tought that a spoiler was saying something that was actually in the movie so I made sure in my post that I only mentioned what was left out of the movie so that people wouldn't be expecting to see something that they read about in the book and then be disappointed when it's not there. :(
I'm sorry though! I feel bad that you think I ruined it. I would probably stay away from any Harry Potter threads though until after you see the movie 'cause someone might post the big surprise ending when Harry Potter buys a Peter Pan hat and flys off to Neverland. (just kidding) :)
SnowPrince 11-18-2005, 11:39 PM Changed the Title Hope that helps.
MickeyBeast 11-19-2005, 03:20 AM Excellent Idea!!!!!
