If you want your username changed just pm - rcv- tell him your new username and why you want it and he should do it.

How do I change my username on VMK forums?Send an admin, such as myself, a PM request with a good reason to change your name. Seems like once we change 1 person's nick, we get swamped with requests. Please, just pick a name and stick with it. We will not change your nick every week, for those out there that are even thinking about it..lol. If you want your nick changed because you're trying to avoid people or mods, your nick will not be changed. I know all these rules sound a bit silly, but some people just really get carried away..lol.

I've always hoped I could get my name changed to PinkFrappuccino, because people will know who I am on vmk easier, and it'll help avoid the weird mails I get asking where I'm from. But I've kept 'ambika456' because I don't want to be annoying. :D

A legitimate name change might be that your fan site name is different than your VMK player name and you want to change it to be the same so that folks can find you easier.

Bad name change reasons are: you are tired of this name. Or, you just want to. Or, you have decided that you don't like the color "pink" or "blue" (or whatever) and that used to be part of your name.

Best odds are to sign-up with a name and keep it! That keeps everyone happy :)

Wouldn't that make it more confusing? If I got my name changed, wouldn't people be like, "Hey where did Oranges go?"

My orginal name on the forums was "pmr". However, my VMK name was PurpleMonkey, so I asked -rcv- (i think) to change it. Once it was changed (the next day) I put a message in my sig for a few weeks that said my name was changed.
