Regarding the Penny Press Color, on the card it looks purple but it does turn out red, I was confused about that too when I got the card. ;)

the picture actually looks purple too, its not the scan! I was confused as well, but then again, the donald/hm rocking chair looks red, but comes out purple... didnt vmk staff go to kindergarten and learn their colors? LOL. :Tongue:

On the tour at Disneyland the tour guide was saying "look at this exclusive card for a purple Nemo chair" (which it also looks like on the card). Several of us on the tour had to tell him it was actually pink when you got it. lol

i did the special frontier land quest and i didnt get big thunder mountan railroad teleport`s and i did`nt get want poster

the big thunder teleporters are given during the tour, for answering questions about the ride. in my tour at disneyland, only 6 were given out.
the wanted poster is a gift with purchase card, and given out only at walt disney world in florida for buying a picture at splash mountain photo.

I didn't get more than one for the actual quest prizes ever. BUT, if you're looking for the stuff you get w/a purchase, if you ask nicely they'll usually give you a couple without buying anything! :D

vmkprincess2008: doodle is right, you dont have to pay anything extra to do the tour. just admission into the park, and fill out the quests. then you get the prizes. :D

doodle: i own most of the cards, but not all of them (i go to disneyland, and dont have the hm cards. :() and youre right, you probably will get free gwp cards, since most cast members are nice. :D

The Pirate tours began when DLR's Haunted Mansion closed for the holiday switch. And they ran through the 23rd of this month. Not sure if you can still get those cards now. They were just handing them out.

Ok I am a bit confused, as I know there are two 30 card sets, but each of the quests only give three cards each...How do you get the rest of the cards? Speaking in terms of Disneyland Resort.

Each Quest gives 3 cards, you are right - Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland.
The holiday quest gave out 3 cards (DLR got Gold snowman, WDW got White).
There were quests for the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Carribean, which were given out during the tour. The HM Quest gave 7 cards, the Pirates gave out 7.
They came out with series 2 of the quest, changed around the prizes as follows: Adventureland, new pin, replaced the Adventurland Retro Pin; Fantasyland, new pin, replaced Fantasyland Castle Retro Pin; and Frontierland, new pin, replaced cactus chair.
The other quest cards were given out during the tour - now that the tour is no longer offered, they award you with a prize pack if you complete ALL FOUR quests.

The Pink you can get from the tours (no longer running) or if you had a coupon from a high score on Fireworks

You know what we need at the park? A card trading section like the pin trading areas. I have most of the things, but not the cards and would love to trade used cards to finish my collection. From Series 1, I need #2,4,13, and 28. From Series 2, I need: 11, 15-17 (need the Stitch stuff, too! haha), and 19-21 (looking for the room UNused code).

Anyone else trying to complete a card set? Am I crazy with this idea or would others trade used cards just to have the cards?
