i just had to change my name on vmk.. is that a good or bad thing?

Depends...you could be like me and maybe become a CL or they needed it to be changed for another reason.

i did send in an app, and my name is fine, but it said i had to spend more time in the kingdom?

But I don't know why you would have to change your name then. That is pretty odd.

Perhaps VMK is cracking down on really obscure, dirty if you try to make it, type names? No fault of your own of course, but some dirty minds are definitely causing trouble and VMK could very well be taking drastic measures, especially considering all the complaints. But that's just speculation, you could ask them of course. ;)

I think I saw someone named "Bibleman" once (which surprised me for a few reasons); if you're in the Kingdom right now, give his name a try and see if it's still allowed. :) Of course, I realize this experiment is flawed because that name might be objectionable on two fronts, but it'll still give you something to do if your bored.

Bibleman is allowed so I guess the person is still wandering around. It's surprising that that name is allowed, but then if they didn't allow it that would open up a whole different can of worms. As long as he doesn't preach to (or since it's possible it's a satire, make fun of) everyone it shouldn't be a problem.

BibleMan is a superhero character.. They made catoons, comics action figures and such.. it is pretty well known in the Christian community :)

ok.. i had to change it.. and the first time i put BBallMan. so there going to probaly have me change it again.. i want to change it to BBallRulesMe.. i hope i dont stay guest forever..

I can take a guess as to why your name had to be changed...

even though we all know it means basketball man, they took it to the "could this be considered pervy?" level...

I have been a guest for the past 3 days. I talked to a VMK staff member and she said I might want to stay off and let the changes go through. So I am right now trying to stay off. I have been off for the past hour and will wait another hour or two til I do go back on. *crosses fingers*

No...you are prompted to change if they don't like it. I know on my other character it took almost four tries til I finally got one approved.
