Have you? I have and it was so awesome! you could get ice cream at a parlor for free 24/7! There was a cafe that had black and white pictures and they would gradually change into the colors that they were supposed to be orignally. There were waitors and waitresses from all around the world! There were always movies showing in the theatres and it had it's own Newspaper! There were three pools, an adults pool, a kid's Mickey Pool and a kid's Goofy Pool.

When i arrived at Castaway Cay(Disney's private island)I started building sand castles and wading in the water.

Our second stop was the Bahamas. Where the ship parked, you could that big resort(i think it's Atlantis or something like that LOL). It was really fun going in the gift shops and seeing the hand crafted things in the store windows!

You should go if you haven't LOL

I Always Wanted To, But Just Never Could..

I Only Went To Walt Disney World Once In My Entire Life, And We Had Plans Already When We Were There..

Despite That They Have A New Cruise For The West Coast, I Could Only Stay In So Cal So Long Untill Leaving, Again, The Disney Cruise Was Not Possible..

Hopefully, I Can Get Onboard Soon..

Only been on the Carnival Cruise lines...

Cruises are too overrated... and not worth the money...

You have to pay for EVERYTHING...

and they're mad boring for the most part...

Keep in mind that most of the ship is "dead" during the cruise... and things, like gift shops, are only open during certain hours...

Maybe Disney is different, but Carnival ruined my desire to Cruise again...

I'd take that money and spend an extra day in Walt Disney World...

BTW: I think the west coast Disney cruise is only for the Happiest Celebration on Earth... so book it now if you want to go on it there...

I've never been on the cruise. I saw a show about it on the Travel Channel and they showed the restaurant with the pictures changing to color, it looked cool:)

Yes! It was so awesome and we hope to go again soon. We have been on 5 different cruises and Disney is definitely THE best!

Ah... a Disney cruise is one of the greatest vacations I've ever taken. Disneyland and WDW are great - but there is just nothing like a Disney Cruise. I've been on five Disney cruises, on both the Magic and Wonder, on most of their itineraries.

To clear up or agree with a couple of statements on here.

There was a cafe that had black and white pictures and they would gradually change into the colors that they were supposed to be orignally.

This is Animators Palate and is one of the restaurants that is scheduled on your dinner dining rotation. The walls change. The pictures that are framed change. And the uniform the waiters wear changes! Of all the restaurants, this is the most incredibly themed with the most remarkable floor show.

There were three pools, an adults pool, a kid's Mickey Pool and a kid's Goofy Pool.

Trivia: there is a fourth pool. The staff pool is all the way forward. You can see it if you look down from deck 9 forward.

The Goofy pool is actually called a "family pool", since families can swim in it together. The Mickey pool is entirely for kids, and includes a slide!

Despite That They Have A New Cruise For The West Coast

The West Coast cruises were for this summer only (at least for now!), starting in May and ending in August (I was on the cruise back from California, through the Panama Canal, and back into Florida).

Cruises are too overrated... and not worth the money...

You have to pay for EVERYTHING...

I find this really strange. Yes, you end up paying for it as part of your cruise fare, but once you're on board here is a list of things that you don't have to pay a dime for:
Breakfast (either a buffet or in a dining room)
Lunch (either a buffet, in a dining room, or at one of the snack bars that are open most of the day where you can get burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza, etc)
Dinner (usually in your dining room with your personal wait staff, or you can have a buffet on some cruises, or at the snack bars again) which includes most drinks and desserts.
Snacks (ice cream, fruit, big chocolate chip cookies, and the stuff mentioned above)
A beverage station open 24 hours which has milk, lemonade, and soda.
Room service
All of the shows, movies, events, and entertainment I mention later
Use of the kids clubs, the pools, the sports deck (basketball and some other ball games), and games like shuffleboard, ping-pong, and foosball.

Are there things you need to pay for if you want? Sure - but many of these are really optional things. Here are just some example
If you go on any Shore Excursions (renting snorkeling equipment, or swimming with Dolphins, as an example)
Souveniers from the gift shops
Adults need to pay for some drinks, for their special dining, and to use the spa
The games in the Arcade
Internet access

and they're mad boring for the most part...

Well, I'll admit, there are no roller coasters onboard. :) So it is certainly different than a theme park. But on the other hand, here is just a short list of some things you can do (without paying a dime):
Go swimming in a pool, or in more open waters on Castaway Cay
Build sand castles on Castaway Cay
Play any of the games I mentioned above
Movies! Both recently run and Disney Classics are showing all day in the movie theater (and on two channels on TV)
Evening shows with a wide variety of things: could be magic, could be comedy, could be a different take on some Disney inspired classics. Some are even game shows that you can play with your family and win prizes!
Dance party on deck!
Meet and get autographs from a lot of Disney Characters that are sailing with you (what other cruise line will you see Stitch chasing someone down the hallway?)

and that doesn't even include all the things you do with the kids clubs (make flubber!)

Keep in mind that most of the ship is "dead" during the cruise... and things, like gift shops, are only open during certain hours...

Things get a little quieter when you are in port, since you're expected to take excursions or just go out on the town with your family, but even then the restaurants are open... the pools are open... lots of things are open and available for you to do! True, the shops usually aren't open, but that is because the country you are visiting wants you to spend money on shore instead.

And while at sea, the cruise staff organize lots of things to help you keep busy. On the seven day cruises, for example, you may hear presentations by Disney Imagineers or executives who provide inside information about what Disney has done or what they're doing next!

I went on the disney crusie, it was amazing. I loved it and i might be going again, i hope so. My sister, 2 cousins and i almost won the race thing when you make a car out of a carrot and a patatoe. I wasn't a big fan of the kid club thing though.

I have never been on it. My family has brought it up for vacation many times. But it is very expensive. Most of the time we go to Maui,Hawaii. That isn't much cheaper ;)

Thanks you Priz, for clearing that up. Since I went last march, my memory of the details have left me ;)
