I really enjoy the cinderella character breakfast in the castle when you can get into it pinksparkles 01-08-2006, 10:40 PM I agree with liberty tree tavern. my family and i went there for christmas dinner and it was excellent. I would also like to recommend.. Chef Mickey's(Contemporary Resort) Crystal Palace(Magic Kingdom) Sci-Fie Dine inn(MGM) 50's prime time((MGM) Alfredos(EPCOT-Italy) Ohana-breakfast especially(Polynesion Resort) thegoof 01-08-2006, 10:42 PM Ohanas is good. The buffet (the name escapes me) at Anima Kingdom Lodge is good. Schmoofy 01-08-2006, 10:46 PM The buffet at DAKL is Boma, great food there...anyway,I will help compile a list of all the places to eat at WDW So-So,if you need help that is F0REVERL0ST 01-08-2006, 11:19 PM I enjoy the food at the following places: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (Tomorrowland , Magic Kingdom ) Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada, World Showcase) Liberty Inn (The American Adventure, World Showcase) L'Orignale Alfredo Di Roma Ristorante (Italy, World Showcase) 50's Prime Time Cafe (Disney-MGM Studios) Planet Hollywood (Downtown Disney) Liberty Tree Tavern (Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom) Basically any food in World Showcase is good. :) DizCaptain 01-08-2006, 11:22 PM all of you I agree with all of you! lol I go to many times at least twice a year! my personal favorite is as saorinsoarin said liberty tree tavern I mean where else do you get that good of dessert.. apple cobbler.. also one of those spinny htings with the light was broken for a little child and goofy tried and then spun around like he was one of them Doodle 01-09-2006, 01:20 AM I can't stand the Prime Time Cafe, everything about it... I LOVE Ohana's and the Kona Cafe Boma's got me hooked on Cocconut Rice!! :D How's the food in Cinderella's Castle, have an ADR there sometime soon for lunch, is it good? Funster 01-09-2006, 01:32 AM I went to Cinderella Castle to eat and it was not the best the view was great! I prefer Sci-Fi Dine-In LOL! Another good place is the Liberty Tree! I think we all like that! LOL AceLollipop 01-09-2006, 10:46 AM I just want to say me and my family did not like the food at Boma's. It looked great inside, but the food was not to good... We went back to our middle class hotel later that night, and got a better meal! Nothing beats Chef Mickeys. :) prisoner 01-09-2006, 12:25 PM I'm surprised so many people are giving favorable reviews of Liberty Tree. We love it, but its always seemed to be one of the bigger secrets of the Magic Kingdom. Also a good tip is that they do serve lunch non-family style, with some great sandwiches. Cinderella's Castle is good, but certainly not the best restaurant on property. Boma definately is our favorite buffet, especially for breakfast, although its really only good if you're willing to be a little adventureous in your eating. Not the place for picky eaters. Try the juice at breakfast! I regretably have to disagree with the assessment that "everything in World Showcase is great". We actually found many of them rather a dissapointment. China and Itally's sit-downs were no better than anything we've found closer to home, and for some things worse. Japan's Habachi table was great, but also comparable to tables you can increasingly find closer to home. French cuisine is more difficult to find many places, so this may be worth it to you, although the food is only "good" in our opinion. Norway's buffet has changed since we last ate there and decided never to eat there again - cold fish that isn't sushi just isn't our thing. Canada and Morocco are the only ones that we would consider worth it, although we also visit England or Mexico on occasion if we can arrange for good fireworks seating. We prefer the 50's Prime Time over the Sci-Fi Dine In. We find the food better, and the theming great in its own way. (Sci-Fi is ok, but the food always seemed to be cold every time we went.) Make sure to eat your vegetables, and get the smores for dessert! And the best restaurant on property? Definately, without a doubt, no questions asked: Victoria and Alberts. Horizons 01-09-2006, 05:18 PM Sci-Fi Dine in all the way. I never care to eat at prime time because, I don't want to be "told" to eat anything when I'm paying for it. And I hate meatloaf. Sci-Fi dine in rocks because, I love Drive in movie theatres, bad movies, and american burgers! Sometimes the fries seem cold, but last time they were just right. (They are too much like Steak and shake fries) But the burger sure was great. It's just a shame it's all so pricey! Oranges 01-09-2006, 09:04 PM I thought children under a certain age were not allowed in Victoria and Albert's, because it was mandatory that ladies had to wear dresses and gentlement had to wear jackets. I've always wanted to eat there but I heard it was very expensive. Tallulauh 01-09-2006, 09:23 PM I really loved Morroco in Epcot's world showcase. It was so... unique(sp?). Plus I'm Lebanese which is also a Medditerranian country, so the food was very familiar. I agree with Priz, that a lot of the food was so-so in EPCOT. Some of the places are like any other restaraunt. I also enjoyed Ohana and Boma in the Polynesian Resort, although I don't think that going to either of them a second time would be nearly as fun. It's just a shame it's all so pricey! Isn't EVERYTHING in Disney world expensive? AlohaAnnie 01-09-2006, 09:33 PM Thank you so much for all the information on restaurants. My family and I are going to WDW in June and I have to make reservations for restaurants soon. Your information is very helpful. This will be our first trip. Any other advice you all could give me?
