Has anyone FOUND the tomorrowland quest yet?
I do not think so I have not found it yet at least! :goofy: :mickey2: :donald: my three favorite pals!

I believe the Tomorrowland Quest is going to be the Top High Scores Print-Out ;) Maybe, and maybe it will only be active from the 16-17th.

Clearly the Quests are Disney's explicit push to move people from VMK into the park$, and to that end, it wouldn't make sense to limit your marketing push to the best scorers only.

Since I've shot down your theory, I'll offer one of my own: :Tongue: I think the Tomorrowland quest link will be something secret you click on in the game that triggers a VMK message with a link, similar to the high scores links. This link, in turn, will launch a PDF. My best guess for where this will be is Star Trader's shop since today's Newsletter hints at being able to buy space furniture there...doesn't it all seem so neat when I explain it that way? :) Muahaha....if only I ran the circus.

Nevertheless, I think you may be right. I'm certain it has something to do with the existing Tomorrowland sections, including the shop.

Well if becky is right than i think VMK cast members figured out that people leak information for other people to read so i think they figured "Hey if we make it high score list prizes then people who win will just leak out the site to others." if thats that the case :) yay i can save my energy for the quest instead of searching for it

Maybe they'll bury it on the "Credits" page that contains basically no content (and leads me to believe that sulake doesn't have creative control over the home page). Or, maybe they'll bury this along the lines of the "Contact Us" link at the very bottom of the page in tiny font; seriously, have you ever seen a more obscure path for beta testers to take when trying to improve the game? :D

well, if someone finds it please just tell us that it exists (meaning it has been released, since we already know it will eventually be there) and if you wouldnt mind maybe giving us a hint of where to look or telling us where it is... :pirate:

I went on VMK now and a little notice came up saying that they will celebrate the 50th ann. and space MT. by doing some stuff on the 16th and 17th. also included in the list was...be the first to try out the new Tomorrowland Quest

Thats it! They'll send the URL to everyone that they send email to in response to a "Contact Us" request.

Which means... nobody!

Anyway - the "Coming Soon" and "Star Traders" shops are the most likely. I looked around both earlier yesterday to no success.

That could be a suggestion but only some people would get to that level meaning that only certain people could get the URL so I don't know now lol! :CastMem:

I highly doubt that. The purpose of the quests is to get you to go to DLR or WDW. What would be the point of making it TOO difficult to find the Tomorrowland quest?

If it's too difficult and guests can't locate it, Disney runs the risk of dissuading a potential customer from going to a park as a result. If more guests print it out, more guests may go to the parks just to play the quest.

Back on topic, another location seems appropriate for the print-out quests. VMK Central has the Haunted Mansion poster that talks specifically about quests. I'd put it here, myself.

OffT: I'm a bit offended by this comment about Florida and being loaded. First, there are parks in CA as well as FL. Second, we are not all LOADED, I'm a single parent scraping by but I try to do things economically for my son. I do sympathize with you about it not being fair but not to sound cold, that's life . It's not fair. :( Hopefully you will be able to trade with someone for the items you seek as the game ages and items are more readily available. I would think that most items will eventually be available or ppl will leave VMK due to all the things they can not get. The ppl who go to the parks will be those who can, those who want the latest and greatest, those who want to brag, and those who just want to show everyone what's coming soon. I would think the goal of VMK is to keep eveyone interested in the game and the parks in the event that one day you would be able to visit a park. Perhaps, making some friends who visit the parks regualrly and asking them to help you might work.

OnT: I think it really does us no good to continue debating where it will be or not be. Unless they programers goof, I doubt it will be found before it's released for us to find. For all we know there could be a giant neon sign saying "click here!". :D

I don't think its completely unfair. I mean just because you don't get some exclusive furniture or items or rooms doesn't mean its unfair. I mean if those items were for sale then why would soem one waste their time doing a silly little quest. Hence the word EXCLUSIVE.

i agree. And when i did the fantasy quest at disneyland one of the rewards as the fantasy castle pin that i can just buy in the game. USELESS.

Well, I just got back from Disneyland and I stopped by VMK Central regarding the quests. After the CM finding out I am a VMK freak (I told her I was a CL and she was like...what's up with you kid?) I asked her about the Tomorrowland quest.

She told me it will be available on July 17, therefore if you're not going to be at the parks on or after that day...you're not going to be able to do the quest. She said they're saving the best quest...for the 50th. So, stop the looking around. She said they're not trying to hide anything! ;) Hope this helps...you not spending hours trying to find the quest like I did...

I believe that its not just that day because in the post it says "therefore if you're not going to be at the parks on or after that day"

so that means you can only so it on the 17th? like JUST the 17? if so that stinks!

I was told yesterday by the CM at the booth that the TL quest would be available starting Sunday just like all the other quests are now available. It's not supposed to be a one day thing.

my sister jasminejasmine said that you need to print something and go to disney and give it to vmkcentral then they will give u the quest and then u will be able to download tomorrowland on vmk

VMK is not a silly online game, but is a safe fun way for kids to meet others. i'm sorry about what i said about being loaded, it wasn't true. Very very nice apology. It takes a lot to say you're sorry about something, and there are many other members here who feel too important to apologize when they say something wrong here. So I think you did a wonderful thing just now.

I had responded to your post the first time, and I still think you made some good points. So while I think it's great for you to say sorry, don't forget you said some other important things and it was necessary for you to get them out to others.

It gets frustrating some times, especially since you see other VMK guests showing off stuff players like you have a harder time getting. I know you're especially angry about the things people can get at the parks. I still agree it's not fair, but that's how a lot the Disney Company works right now.

So focus on the stuff you CAN do that's cool, and ignore that other stuff if you can.

Well, Disney is our home away from home, so some CM's in VMK Central are beginning to recognize our family when we walk in :) (and so far they're not rolling their eyes when we walk in :lol) and they told us a few days ago that each quest is good for 30 days, not only 1 day.

I realize that still makes it difficult for many to play every quest, so I'm wondering if the quests will either be repeated, or if Disney is offering the quest in hopes to bring in more "in state" and local residents to make more money. Because even though we have annual passes, and take our own snacks/drinks, we still end up spending between $10.00-$30.00 on each visit. (BTW, we're far from loaded, living paycheck to paycheck, but we cut out other things to do more Disney, plus in-state residents receive nice discounts on tickets and resorts.)

And as for the print out code you have to take to a Disney park to receive the prize, atleast the expiration date is over a year away. I personally don't think it should have an expiration date, but it could be worse, like if they had said it was only good for 30 days from the time it's won. I mean when you think about coupons in general, most are only good for 30 days.
