I have noticed since I have registered and played with VMK that everytime I try to play ToonTown that an Ad pops up to say that I need to install Spyware/Adware. This a Trojan Virus! Be careful! Close window as soon as possible and run your Anitvirus program. So far me and another friend has run into this program. Has anybody else?

Actually I have came across this problem, If I am using Firefox, i get IE pop ups then i get a Pop up sayigng Trojan has been found, and i delete the file. which causes Slight lag however it still works. after a second.

What virus and which program is telling you this.

I have vmk and firefox and ie, played it on both and have had no problems.

For some reason I get IE popups when using Firefox... and i hate IE, beause mine is bugged.

Not sure but it was downloading somekind of a file. I canceled it what ever it was. My Virius procteciton Popped up saying that a Trojan virus has been found. I deleted the adware files and now I am not getting the pop window when I double click on the Toontown Icon. So far it looks like it is gone. Phew.

Typically, that means banner ads/popups, and as well all know, those are targeted to users based on what type of sites you normally visit. And how do they know what type of sites you normally visit? Adware.

technically, ad-aware removes both spyware and adware, and so does spybot s&d, so you don't need to get both :CastMem:

I have SO many things downloaded onto my computer from the internet, that I can hardly remember what they even are, so to make sure they are safe I use "spy sweeper". It cost 10 dollars at Best Buy, but it works really good.
