Okay, I've seen multiple threads discussing the changes made today (7/11) so I figured it might be easier to just make one thread.

Here's what's been discovered so far:

- Flying Saucer Chairs are now sitable
- Major changes to Jungle Cruise
- Pins appear more clear and "pretty" (lol MrLunatix)
- Magic Carpet Pin is now tryable at the spell room.

If you have found any other changes, feel free to post them.

One more small thing I noticed is in the Music Game dance room, when you go to play your mix the icon on the ground says "queue" where you go to line up.
Hopefully this will mean less people blocking the way, but I guess we will see.

If you try to sit down, it has a little yellow circle with "sit" in the middle and an arrow pointing to where you are about to sit.

The Pirates of the Caribbean Game has been updated as well. The NPCs (pirate ships) are way smarter, and you can't just snipe them anymore. Odin also complained that to him, it seemed like the health and cannonballs show up less often. It takes a bit of getting used to, but for the most part, it is the same game.

It's a good thing I just got through level 3 of Pirates!

I wonder if these changes have anything to do with me not being able to log in today? I've been trying for about 4 hours. Someone at another computer in my house can log on just fine. When I try I get the VMK logo and the bar and the blue creeps slowly along, then I get the crash message after almost 10 mins. I've tried rebooting, clearing cache, reloading shockwave and closing all browser windows. Anyone else having this problem or have any solutions/suggestions? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks! :confused:

You can report room buy clicking on the ' i ' when your in a room (can't report your own room) you can report people by clicking on them and also when you put your mouse over a teleporter enterence and the ring turns pink and has a ? mark in the middle of it

LOL! Reporting your own room would be funny! ...Now I know what I can do about those girlfriend/boyfriend rooms...

Of course your room is cursed... you get kicked out every 8.4 minutes...

I just want to say COOL!!! I can not wait to get on VMK today i am going to get on VMK right now!and i well report if i see anything new!

you can sit in the Huntsman Heartless Hamper too... well u could sit in it before, u just lost half ur body in the process...

You can REMOVE pictures from the wall! yeah! :)

Every time something is new on VMK, When you get to the black screen with the bar on it, it always is longer to load.

You have to trade with someone of the opposite gender.

I noticed today that I could not get into one of my Tiki rooms but I was able to get into all of my other rooms including Haunted Mansion. I was going to try on a different computer before I report the problem though (hoping it's just temporary). The new changes to Jungle Cruise are harsh, now I'm really bad at it! :sadd2: lol

prinssess for instance: i'm boy trading with a girl trying to give her a boy clothes she wants but it will say that message

Oops. Sorry, I haven't been on VMK for about the past week :Tongue:

did not see it mentioned that instad of cursors being red with exit on teleporters they now have a ? with a purple circle around it

Here's some cons about the updates. It's actualy mostly to do with my house, but here it goes!

CONS:
-I can't put my teleporter on my crates anymore
-Items that were close to the right side of the Nautilus Room are now gone, as the boundary has been made larger. This makes dividers on the entrances useless.
-The self-rotating furniture bug STILL hasn't been fixed.
-Game stability on my computer is horrific

To me, they can fix anything they please. But when the make "fixes" that mess up my rooms, that really, really puts my patience to the test. I sure hope they do fix this, or I'm bailing out of VMK, now that my primary objective has been shot down. You see, the point of me playing VMK is that I wanted to have fun and create a HUGE manor. Now with these recent changes, original thoughts that VMK was too good to be true may be valid. Indeed, this may not prove to be the game I seeked. Nonetheless, I will wait this out.

Now we return to your regular programming. :)

they have fixed the dancing in your chair makes your arms dissapear bug as well

they seem to be fixing bugs and releasing them all at one time now...

I never noticed some of them... but did notice the Dance room it said queue now for playing music...

I also was having a bit of a time yesterday getting logged in.

Then all of a sudden it seemed to improve, except for the fact that everytime
i tried to go into my manor room the game would crash!

I could visit either of my other two rooms no problem, but the one room i really wanted to go into...because it is my newest room...would crash as soon as i entered it!!!!

Here my feet stamping on the floor? arggggggg!!!!!!

I noticed on Monday that when you enter the Castle Fireworks lobby, it no longer puts you on the exit square which causes you to go to the Gallery if you don't walk into the lobby quickly. Instead, entrants into the lobby are spread out across the front of the screen in a line. At first I thought people were having a dance party when I saw this, but after visiting a few different lobbies and watching people appear, I realized this was a change. Does anyone else know when this happened? I'm thinking it was changed with the 7/11/05 update. I haven't seen anybody else post this yet and I keep forgetting to say something.

I don't think anyone has said this yet, but I'm sad they fixed my personal favorite. Before, when you got your credits from the dragon, it said this:
Congregations! You've found the dragon!

and the message you got said the following:
Roarr! Here's 20 credits for finding me!

lol, These were my favorite things that I hoped they wouldn't see. I kind of wish they had left it that way, just to see if anyone would notice. ;) Oh well. Simple things amuse simple minds like mine, I guess. :cat1:
