Epitaph Competition Highlights
The entries are so clever and entertaining that it's difficult to choose "winners". Below are some that we feel belong on a headstone (it's a good thing, honest!).

Whoops was his name
and he said it quite oft
it was the last thing he said
when he fell from the loft

TooHip was lost
now he is found
He is just buried
Here in the ground!

Here lies bumbling CL_Taryn
Her mistake? Inferno wearin'
She said the word, burst into flame
Oh why did she do it by the Fireworks game?

missed the bridge by just a tad

who met his very untimely demise
by risking his life simply

Jordyn, she shall rest in peace
in VMK she did decease
she entered the coffin, full of gloom,
in the corner of the Haunted Mansion room.

Here lies MrCrispy
we're sorry he died.
He grabbed a live wire
then MrCrispy got fried.

Here lies GoofyJenn
Traveled the world and back again.
This is the only place she had not been.

Here lies Anilem
with an eternal curse
she stole Blackheart's gem
and put it in her purse.

Here lies Adventureally,
she took up skydiving
and landed in a valley!

Here lies the physician EDDoc,
who never owned a working clock.
He made his patients wait and wait
and how he is forever late!

Here lies DaBEEF
he learned the hard way
that sharks live in the reef

Her death was oh so tragic
While cruising with Ned
She lost her poor head

She succumbed to her death while in the jacuzzi
A sparkling potion she drank
Unaware it was a prank

Poor poor Churro she was sweet,
Now here she lies, resting at your feet.
Not done in by enemies she has made,

Here is where our friend Mamacita fell.

ChipperChopper mixed the tunes,

To the safety rules Striker did not pay attention,
Now he's the thousandth ghost in the Haunted Mansion.

DryBones was a skeleton
Who didn't like life at all
He wouldn't behave
So he moved to this grave
And now he is having a ball!

CL_Strajo is here interred
He was frightened by a bird
This poor chap fell from his boat
I'm sad to say he didn't float

Here lies our beloved, TreasureChester.
In piracy, he was a major investor.
He fired off all of his cannons
But didn't know quite how to aim 'um.
Arg! What a terrible disaster!

Zanira went swimming during lightning and thunder
Now she finds herself lying 6 feet under

Here lies Cimorne, our darling daughter,
the fairest Cruise captain on the water.
On safari one afternoon,
she found a hidden lagoon,
and that's where the rhinoceros got her.

Poor old Mulligan
Fell into a hole again
Went and cracked her skull again
Nevermore is Mulligan.

PollyRoger lies here in this lot
While burying treasure she was suddenly caught
Down came the sand
She could no longer stand
You'll find her where X marks the spot!

Here lies dear, poor Elara
Much to her surprise
Before she could cover her eyes
She stared into those of Mara.
