I first heard about vmk on MiceAge. I didn't sign up right away though, because I thought "this sounds like something that would take up all my time, and be completely addicting." I held out for a few weeks, but the 'Virtual Magic Kingdom Updates' kept coming and it sounded so fun, so I figured, I'll give it a try. Turns out I was right.. if that's a good thing, who knows.. :)

My friend sweetpeamari plays a LOT of online games, so she let me know about VMK because she knows I love Disney so much! She stopped playing, but I'll get her back! Muahahaha! Just you wait and see!

I heard about VMK on Jim Hill Media, from an article about domain names that Disney bought. It was the first Disney fan site I started to visit every day, before I found obout Visions Fantastic, Mouse Info, Mouse Planet, Mice Age...and the list goes on and on.

I found out on it on the site ************* and ToonTownCentral.com

I saw VMK on Disney Adventures magazine.
I am not a subscriber, i was just so bored at the library i read through the whole thing in like, WHAM!

You're not going to believe this, but I didn't hear about it anywhere. I had it in my head that it would sure be neat if there was a "virtual Disneyland" of some kind. I did a Google search, and much to my amazement, there was VMK still in the Beta stage! :mickey2:

Got the idea from the Disney Insider e-mail newsletter.

Mice Age. one guy did a great little info piece just before beta opened and i jumped on the VMK monorail. i wish they had a train! :wave2:

Disney Adventures. And also kinda the L.A Times because it had a article on how disney is luring teenagers into the park by VMK.

I was at Disneyland and was in Store Command and it said "buy a pin get a virtual pin at VMK" I asked what VMK was and was hooked since.

#8: I heard about it long before when the first rumors on Toontown Central of 'VMK' came...... naturally, i posted to hear of news too! I can remember when they all thought May 17(17 of what month?) and then everybody thought beta would open. and then on May 28 or a few days before the 31st rumors began again that beta was opening May 31. So I of course waited until i got home from school on May 31, and... boom! VMK was in Beta and accepting players. On May 31, i also joined this site xD

i have an other..............my family has passes to disneyland so we get a calender of wat is going to happen in months to come. it had an add for vmk.....i put it in the back of my mind and thought it was nothing........then the day came when my life changed i was at home (and very bored) i went on the computer and typed in vmk.com that was it........i was hooked! :wave2: oh and thank you to my dad who showed me the calender :)
