There is already scammers on VMK! If someone says they can clone your furniture... don't LET THEM!!

We do everything we can to make sure that VMK is a safe place to hang out, but you have to watch out for scammers. A scammer is someone who will try to steal your credits and stuff or take over your Character.

The more time you spend playing VMK, the more knowledge you gain about safety-related issues, but when it comes to scammers you always have to be careful. Just when you think you know all the scams, they come up with a new one.

The best thing to remember is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Read about how these scammers work and you can make sure you don't fall for their tricks. Bookmark this page to keep one step ahead.

Scamming is against the VMK Values and, in most cases, the law. ALL scammers will be banned from VMK FOREVER. If you see someone scamming on VMK, you should ALWAYS Call a Cast Member and report the Player.
Private Games
There are lots of games in VMK, but not all of the Players who run them are honest. Don't be surprised if they don't give you a prize when you win. Don't take part if you can't trust the Player running the

I have had 3 people ask me to be a Community leader, and I would have believed them however there Profile name didn't have the Mickey Mouse icon nor the Mickey's Wizard Hat. the people with the Mickey Mouse icon are Castmembers, which you can trust.

Ah yes, not too long ago, a player was trying to convince me that he had an inferno pin and was willing to trade for all my current furniture. So, me, being too excited to get an inferno pin, put all my furni in trade box, and waited to see his inferno pin. It never came. He must have sat there for five minuets trying to get me to click that I accecpt. Eventually he dumped a bunch of "Shrunken Ned," "The Yeti," and "Maleficent the Dragon" Pins on me and claimed it was there. It was then I told him to stop trying because it wasn't working. Ah well, sadly not even an online Disney game is perfect. Morale of the story? Unless they show it, in the *Player's name here* Window, don't trade for something they claim to have.
