The Bride from the Haunted Mansion, preferably the "floating clothes" version

Buff, Melvin, and the deer that I can never remember his name from The Country Bears

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Either Captain REX or one of the two droids from the Star Tours queue

The Bicycling Piano Player from TDL somewhere on Main Street.

Ok that would be just creepy! He is dead. :eek:And if he wasn't, he'd be like 103 or something.

And if he wasn't dead, EPCOT would probably look like the way he intended it to be instead of a second theme park location.

Yes to 103 (December 5, 1901)
And EPCOT would have been awesome, the way he intended it to be.

I would like Walt and Roy together waving and saying it all started with a mouse in main streat.
And the star wars main characters in tomorow land saying may the force be with you!

I think someone mentioned Tom Morrow in Tomorrowland... that would be cool. Or possibly the narrator from the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland.
Or, they could even turn that robot that floats in the Star Trader shop into a non-playing character.

I also like the country bear idea... or possibly Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, or Brer Bear.

Have you actually read his plan for EPCOT? I was really surprised at it and surprised it came from "Uncle Walt."

If you lose your job (for any reason), you must move out of EPCOT. If you retire, you must move out of EPCOT. You don't own your house, you can only rent it. You must decorate the inside and outside per company specifications.

Eeesh. I could go on, but you get the idea. Even Celebration never went this far.

Isn't that the whole point of the Experimental part of the acronym of EPCOT?

To experiment and find out what works and what doesn't?

Oh, I forgot. Disney is more about profit than finding out what works and what doesn't.

Oh, I forgot. Disney is more about profit than finding out what works and what doesn't.

The experiment part was promoted as advances in technology, transportation, climate control, power . . . things like that. The control of the residents was probably an attempt to keep things "clean" and "ordered." Problem is it borders on dictatorial.

As for being "more about profit," I think you're confusing Walt for Micheal. Walt once said, "We don't make movies to make money; we make money to make more movies."

I think it was Eisner that said, "Put the cheapest junk you can on video and we'll get lots of money. Oh, and raise the ticket prices again." But that's just a guess. :)

This is, of course, horribly off topic, so I'll stop here.

I like this idea too! It would be neat if every day they changed locations since, you know, they're hitchhiking.

I also like the idea of Tom Morrow for Tomorrowland or, if they could swing it, a droid from Star Tours. Or maybe even Push The Trashcan! :D

Of course, Mickey and Friends would also make a lot of sense.

Ghost Host is a disembodied voice. Don't think that would work for a NPC. If anything, you'd see random text bubbles popping up at the top of the screen without any visible sign as to who is typing them. It would drive the Hide-and-Seekers really made as they try to find the users "Ghost Host" in the screen to tell him or her to shut up.

Someone's wish came true.

Donald's on Main Street.

Next time you are in the Central Plaza, hang out and look above the Photo Supply Shop. Stay long enough, and you'll see Donald walk pass the window.

...they should make a haunted mantion themed room and put a goul npc or something in it.

From the rumors going around a Haunted Mansion game will be in the Frontierland section when it opens, which is rumored to happen in December 2005. My choice for a NPC would be Madame Leota, but Walt's ghost would also be pretty cool.

I think that your ideas are awesome! They really need to add more NPC's because then my financial problems will be a thing of the past.
