There are many sites out there that let you make your own boards and web sites for free or little money a month. There are federal, state, and locals laws that do not allow some things. Invisionboard has its own rules and does not allow certain things to be posted.

There are copywrite laws and you can get in trouble for taking and publishing on your board stuff from other people's sites or even from a paperback book.

There is COPPA which is a law that protects kids and you cannot ask certain information because of that law.
