Unfortunatly, my computer that is normally in my room caught a computer virus. Right now I am using the main computer in my house because my computer cannot access the internet because of the virus. My computer is going to go to some guy my dad knows who can hopefully fix my computer. So I won't be able to be on much until my computer is fixed. This I am guessing could take about 3 weeks max, but 3 days minimum. I hope to be able to be on VMK ASAP, but for now I can only be on the forums. I am just letting everyone know this so you don't all think I just abandoned VMK and everyone ;)

I'm not really sure. Me and my dad were using a virus check program, and it cost a lost so I am pretty sure it wasn't a junky kind, and then when we were done it was all fine for a moment until we noticed there wasn't any sound, no internet, and a lot of my files would not open.

that is very strange. i used to have a similar problem to this, but it turns out it wasn't a virus, but spyware. but i got my spyware from *******, not vmk. still, i'm sure your computer will be fixed soon

I got a virus, but it was a "false alarm". It was a small virus that went away as soon as it told you there was a huge virus going to take over your computer system. It was weird -.-

but isn't the fan site on the internet?

It was just my computer that got the virus. I'm using my mom and dad's computer.

WOW! After my dad got "The Virus" My mom has been well... a little over protective of the computer! She install a Norton Internet Security into my Main Computer and my Dad's computer. Now it's better.
