I was trading with a Guest and she wanted to try on my dress she was my friend and everything so I let her and the second i excepted it she ran off . I reported her but VMK staff just said sorry. I am wicked mad and now i want a dress any advice?

First off, never let someone try on something if you like it that much. Staff only saqid that to you because it was your decision to do that, and they cant fix that. Trying it on is also giving them something, but expecting a trade back. Sorry that happened though :(

I would not let Guests borrow anything, it is too easy to just run off and trade with another account on a Guest.

OK I am sorry that you were scammed but seriously - all VMK characters look about the same and wear the same clothes so therefore, anyone who wants to "try on" clothing is TOTALLY scamming you. RED FLAG, sirens going off! Think about it, everyone knows what clothing looks like on others !

Not really, people you know for some time can be trusted, if you have known them for a long time and know they are honest. I have only done one borrowing thing, I let a good friend of mine borrow my Sorcerer Ears, surely enough I got them back :) "Trying on" Is more likely a scamming term, but not in all cases, but most. If you are doing lending or borrowing, I suggest you know them fro a long time, they are not Guest, and they are on your list to avoid being scammed.

This has happened to me once and i never got it back..

I was on my other character with my space suit,blue ears,gold ears,black ears,orange rocket,gold score board. I told my friend Toofy that its me Gingersnaps so i trade her and then i tell her brb as Snaps.But when i get on she is off my list so i tell others and other search for her everywhere.2 months later my friend who i forgot his name lol was toofys friend and brought me to her.So i tell her i reported u so give me back my stuff she goes like i dont care, shut it!So i say ill report u again so i did and then she is like no!!So she says ill give u back da space suit tomorrow i say u must or else so i asked her to be my friend and she accepted.Then she never ever gave back my stuff and her mother and aunt also play vmk so never ever trust Toofy!! i let my close online friends borrow stuff. honestly--i know what could happen, and i dont mind really. virtual game. it wouldn't dissapoint me if a friend did that, they should be dissapointed in themselves ;)

I let people who are friends in rl borrow stuff. You can cause physical damage in rl. I also let mules borrow stuff.............

ya i had stuff taken because i let a really close friend use some chairs and a table. She first said that she gave them to a friend, than she had the stuff in her room so she said that her real mom said to never be friends with someone who doesn't share and i did share but she deleted me and ya i am still mad

I have only let two people try on my Herbie Helmet, and that is Xiris and CL_Danola. That is because I fully trust them, and they are not known to run off.

Don't trust guests. Unfortunately, most are not trust-worthy.

ya, that happened to my brother.. except the story wasn't exactly like that.
He, was TREATENED to have his account deleted if he didn't give his teleporters to the girl. and rare stuff (she was quitting vmk). This happened when i wasn't home so he fell for it. he still is very upset but his friends were generous and gave him a few

This is what I do even with my Bf in VMK.

They say, "Can i try__ on??" I say, "Only if you give me something I like and you like that is worth the same amount." If this is ok, do a trade. Once they have tried it on, trade back and give them what they gave you.

My sister learned that too. AND it was a pink dress with a crown. So..its just something you gotta learn.

It is a lesson you learn as you grow older. As a rule, never loan anybody, especially a family member, anything or any money, with any expectation of getting back. It is OK to say, "Sure I'll lend it to you", but you have to think, "This is a gift." If it is returned, that's better for you. So if you really can't afford to give it up, don't. Or at least ask for some collateral. That would be something you get and hold onto until you can trade back. Like, "I'll let you try on my dress if you let me hold your gold ears." That way at least you have something if you don't get your item back.
