Mickey looked out at his marvelous kingdom. Tea cups twirling at the Mad Hatter’s home, explorers returning to their camp only to find that it had been messed with by gorillas. However, the great sorcerer did not notice the swirling clouds of darkness forming behind him. This darkness was filled with evil, hatred, and despair. Villains from all over the kingdom helped form this monstrosity. Swirling and booming, the clouds of darkness engulfed a surprised Mickey and the rest of the kingdom. Everything good was gone. The Magic Kingdom was lost. Now only the darkness remains…

Many years passed. No one ever heard about the kingdom.

Finally, one day many explorers discovered a small uncharted island. Searching the island, they found nothing… but then they heard a voice…

Can you hear me..?

The voice gradually became louder.

Help me defeat the darkness…
Please… my name is Mickey… I am a sorceror…
I need you to help me save my kingdom… the Magic Kingdom…
It was engulfed in darkness created by evil…
… And it destroyed me too…
My magic is weak but I have created magic portals…
Leading to your goal…
However…
There are many dangers…
Head Hunters… Flying Saucers… Giant Squids...
But if you can defeat these dangers you will be able to save the kingdom…
There is a magical sword in a stone…
It belongs to me…
This sword is the source of the darkness’ power…
Remove the sword from the darkness’ grasp and the kingdom shall return to normal…
And the evil will be vanquished…
But be warned…
There is one thing you must not come across…
Madame Leota…
She was an old friend of mine…
But she joined forces with the darkness…
So I cut her head off…
But the darkness found the head and brought it to life…
Her magic is still very strong…
Beware…
The darkness lurks in some form in every room…

And then the voice faded away.
Bewildered, the explorers discussed what they should do. In the end, you must decide… Are you up to the challenge?

Well, yeah. That's the story behind my movie set sorta kinda musuem. You will enter portals and visit dangerous places such as a black hole in the depths of space and Head Hunters Tribal Grounds. In the end, you will have to find the Sword in the Stone and get past the evil Madame Leota. Special thanks to joejoeman and SistaLena and Nedakh for help and support. Also: For the sword in the stone I am going to need the quest version, but sadly I cannot get to a Disney park. :( So if anyone is willing to trade, please pm me or find me in the game (I'm skippyskippy). I hope this "attraction" is a success! :) Opening Soon!!!

I am not in to the whole game idea, but that story should be under artwork and creativity, i want to read more. So Please when the game is finished, post another one!! Great work.

I'm not excactly sure how this is going to turn out. Originally I wanted this to be a musuem, but I though that was copying Nedakh. So now I have a new idea for Legends of Darkness: sort of a quest and challenges type of thing. In one room you might have to answer the riddles of an angered Tiki God, and in another you might have to find your way through a maze of teleporters. There is 1 problem... I obviously can't control several rooms all at once, so I need good actors to control some rooms. If you would like to apply to be a character/actor, please reply to the thread. (Do not pm me, I am running out of space). Also, I am dangerously low on credits, so donations of furniture and teleporters are much appreciated. Shiregirl has volunteered to donate a Sword in the Stone, and I thank her for her gratitude. As for opening date, there is a lot of work to be done, so I can't really estimate. Donations would help speed up the progress though. Thank you everyone for your support and I will keep you updated on progress. :wave2:

Great news! The Boot Hill Out Skirts room is completely finished, and the Head Hunter's Tribal Grounds is nearing completion. I am in search of an unused Haunted Mansion and Explorer's Tent room code to add some more length and excitement. I have sent a pm to "Brain" but has not replied yet. If you have an unused Haunted or Tent room code, I will gladly trade for it. Also, I will be in the lobby of the game in a few minutes for a questions and answers session. I might even show a few select VIP's the 2 completed rooms. :Tongue: If you would like to visit, search "World of Disney: Darkness". WE (joejoeman and I) ARE CONSIDERING TO DO A COMPLETE BETA TEST OF WHAT IS COMPLETED SO FAR. THAT MEANS THIS ISN'T JUST A COME IN AND LOOK AT THE ROOMS, THIS IS THE FULL DEAL, TRIALS AND CHALLENGES AND ALL. ONLY SOME SPECIAL VIP'S WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER, INCLUDING CAST MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND DONATORS. THE REASON WE ARE DOING THIS IS TO PRACTICE WHAT WE WILL SAY IN EACH ROOM, BUT ALSO TO GET FEEDBACK FROM PLAYERS. THE BETA DOES NOT START RIGHT NOW, BUT I WILL POST WHEN IT STARTS. IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE ROOM, SEARCH FOR WORLD OF DISNEY: DARKNESS!

Ok, the beta testing is over and we had three explorer's take the quest: dewdrop, gligar, and CaptHookFan. They succesfully answered the questions of the Tiki Spirit, defeated the Boot Hill Out Law in a magic battle, and entertained the angered Queen of Hearts. CaptHookFan even won a personal race between him and the Guardian of Space! For completing what I had finished so far, I gave them a prize and the invitation for the Grand Opening. Also, gligar and snowegoof have volunteered to work in the entrance lobby. I have also thought of a fool proof plan on how to run the game: currently I have a turn stile in front of the entrance teleporter. Obviously, gligar or snowegoof can't open/close it. So, they stand in the open turn stile, and move when I return for the next group of explorers for the next game. However, I fear there may be long lines for the game. Just a word of warning! Also, m0nkey33b0y, I may not need you after all, but we'll see what happens. I might need a back up entrance worker. I will keep you guys updated on progress and the Grand Opening date! Keep the donations coming! :)

Great news! Lane was willing to trade cheap for his un used Haunted Mansion Conservatory room! Not only will this make Legends of Darkness longer and more exciting, it also gives a better setting for the show down with Madame Leota! Thank you Lane! :)
