PurpleMonkey 10-16-2005, 01:24 AM What did you think about the new Disney Channel Movie: Twitches?
I thought it was an ok movie. Some of it seemed a little fake, but for the most part it was pretty good. I wish they would have used more magic.

Appleson 10-16-2005, 01:25 AM i thought it was pretty good, but the ending could have been better. the movie wasn't as fantastic and great as i imagined, but it was still good. overall, i'd rate it a 7.5
MayaWolf 10-16-2005, 01:27 AM i thought it was pretty good, but the ending could have been better.
I agree. I thought part of that movie was a little freaky, lol. Although I was all aone in the dark while I was watching it. LOL, bad idea. Really though, the DARKNESS? Isn't that a little, idk, wierd? lol. I say........ 7.4, lol
PurpleMonkey 10-16-2005, 01:29 AM I didn't like the "darkness" concept either.
Softball_atTheDisco 10-16-2005, 01:31 AM i thought it was pretty cool. Im am not like weird but i like movies like that.(no offence to anyone(just in case)
Gingersnaps 10-16-2005, 01:34 AM i only got to see da ending and it was kind of freaky when she found her mother and then they all cry oh if my mother watched that she would have cried also lol
Galaxee 10-16-2005, 01:34 AM I thought the book series was better. The books are almost always better LOL
It was NOTHING like the books in my opinion.

Tinklover 10-16-2005, 02:01 AM I need to read the book but the movie was ok as others have said more magic would have been cooler and also I think they need to do another movie to see what else happens
LittleSpunky 10-16-2005, 02:02 AM its okay
i don't really understand it
AshleyM 10-16-2005, 02:03 AM its okay
i don't really understand it
Same here, it was kind of weird.
Appleson 10-16-2005, 02:04 AM still, i sorta wish that i had the same cash as Cami. that girl is loaded!
LadyMaria 10-16-2005, 02:11 AM Well I liked it..it was entertaining (sp?) but it could have been better.
LittleBubbles 10-16-2005, 02:35 AM I think the book series (although I never read them) had a great concept, judging from the movie. Although, they didn't really take time to explain how the 'darkness' came to be and why. xP Otherwise, I liked it :) I guess I would give it an 8 xD
BMarie521 10-16-2005, 02:43 AM i liked it but there are some parts i didnt like though
Tallulauh 10-16-2005, 02:58 AM I thought it was okay. It was one of those movies where you're like "I really don't like this" but then you reach for remote and the little dude inside of your head is like "wait! wait! no!" Who could ignore that? lol
 Anyway, what better way to make little kids afraid of the dark?
Coolchewbaca 10-16-2005, 03:17 AM I thought the "darkness" was freaky
MagicPirate 10-16-2005, 03:18 AM I thought it was a pretty nice movie, I would reccomend it to people who like magic and stuff :) Could have had more though, lol.

It was as you said Ok, could have been better. More magic would have been nice, and better graphics, seemed fake!
Oathkeeper 10-16-2005, 03:20 AM I thought it was a good movie, but I'm not really one to dislike movies unless they bore me. Though I really did not like either of the girl's friends, nor did I like.. well I forgot their names already but the "protector's" were annoying, IMO.
I still don't understand what the Darkness is, but I guess movies aren't as good at explaining these things as books are.
Tallulauh 10-16-2005, 03:31 AM Obviously, nobody understands what the point of the darkness is. So let's just leave it @ this.
THEY NEEDED A BAD GUY FOR THE MOVIE SO THEY PICKED THE ONE THING THAT EVERYBODY WAS AFRAID OF AT LEAST ONCE IN THIER LIFE.....THE DARK.
Yeah let's just keep it at that.
Galaxee 10-16-2005, 03:31 AM As the budding film director that I am... I thought it was poorly directed. The shots changed too fast, and they had wierd angles for things. I could have done a lot better. LOL

Yeah let's just keep it at that.
The movie is based off a 'best selling' [according to Disney channel] book series; I'm pretty sure it's a bit more complex than that for theses books to have been able to be published in the first place.

Yeah I know but I was kinda sick of reading "I don't understand the darkness" and "The darkness confuses me" so I TRIED to put an end to it until YOU came along. lol:Tongue:
By the way it's just "these" not "theses"
Galaxee 10-16-2005, 03:50 AM They were an actual book series, I read it. It is way more complex than that. They were nothing like the movie. In the beginning of the books, Cam and Alex meet at an amusement park where Alex works- and Cam is on vacation at. In a different state. LOL just to show you!

Tallulauh 10-16-2005, 03:54 AM I know that it's WAY more complex but I just wanted people to stop saying that they didn't understand
BestOfMe_VMKer 10-16-2005, 03:58 AM I have yet to watch all of it so far. But tomorrow is my relaxing time so I will watch it then. Looks weird but okay:poison:
Oathkeeper 10-16-2005, 04:05 AM Yeah I know but I was kinda sick of reading "I don't understand the darkness" and "The darkness confuses me" so I TRIED to put an end to it until YOU came along. lol:Tongue:
Isn't that the point of this thread?
By the way it's just "these" not "theses"
Thanks.
In a weird way, I'm glad they made these changes and trimmed it down. Otherwise it would be long and boring *COUGH*harrypotter1and2*COUGH*
BandGeek 10-16-2005, 04:26 AM The movie seemed spooftastical to me.
The Darkness, was a concept also used in varation in Halloweentown and Halloweentown2 (those are my favorite movies idk why)
The whole twins finding each other thing was used in the '70s and '90s with the Parent Trap movies, and was also used in Tia and Tamera's old Disney TV series, SisterSister.
I don't like the twin projects anyway, because the storyline gets very steriotypical in most of them, and stuffers like that.
But my disclaimer is that I love the thought of having twins in a movie, but I'm still on a hunt for one that doesn't include one or more of these qualities:
∙Twins Seperated at Birth, and finding each other
∙Twins seperated at all and finding each other.
∙Twins in a movie where the fact that they are twins controls the whole movie
∙Magical Powers used by one or both of the twins
∙An ultimate evil that the twins face, but could not win without the other. ( a villian either supernatural or not)
IF anyone has seen a movie without any of these qualities, PM ME!!!
buckbuck123 10-17-2005, 03:52 PM it was ok and i will give it a 3 stars
coolkooler 10-17-2005, 03:55 PM i dont know, i kind of liked it, after all, it was pretty sad at the end. I am a boy and actually liked that movie i even watched it last night. The darkness idea was kind of stupid because a face that appeared out of the darkness was just plain dumb.
LittleSpunky 10-17-2005, 03:56 PM Okay, i get it now, i like it but still, i give 3/4/5 stars for making it and making it alittle action :) Good job Twitches!
coolkooler 10-17-2005, 04:01 PM good job little spunky, good job.
LittleSpunky 10-17-2005, 04:07 PM Ty :) (To short)
