Most of us are familiar with the old question "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" however, here's another question to keep your mind wondering:

What came first, the color or the fruit orange?

Actually the color did. The fruit was later made by cross-breeding plants.

Kind of off topic: I always say that the egg came first because it would be more likely that some other animal's egg changed and it grew up to be a chicken. I also don't just see how a chicken could just appear out of no where.

I think the egg came first, and it was like a duck's baby, and it evolved into the domesticated chicken we know now.
