One thing i found in VMK was the effort to make everything almost exactly alike. even with the Infamous Hidden Mickeys! This is going to be fun, don't POST your hidden mickey's let that be the fun part, however how many have you guys found!!

Good idea. As much as I'd like to stock up on credits, I'd like to try doing it myself. But just for clarification- what exactly do they look like? I'm very confused by the whole thing, and the guide didn't help me much.

Anything that remotely resembles the Mickey Head made from three primitve circular shapes. I haven't found a single one yet, but I bet you that I will eventually!

I have found 3, however i am not sure how to they judge, them... wierd.

You need to buy a camera to take pics of them.

what is the deal with the creepy looking face that is sort of like a distorted Mickey, that appears in different places for a nano-second? That isn't the same as the Hidden Mickeys, is it?

I'm not sure, because I can't see it myself, so maybe take a picture of it and see if you get any credit for it?

I'm finding them all over the place. I've found at least one in every screen I've visited. I got my camera and started snapping pics of them. It seems that when you take a picture of a valid Hidden Mickey, the Mickey is highlighted in the picture and there is a Mickey icon in the corner of the picture. However, after about 5 pictures it stopped saving the pictures even though I bought more film to be sure I didn't run out. Do you have to buy photo albums to keep them in? If so, how many pics can an album hold? Also, I've come across a Hidden Mickey that is at the edge of the screen and the camera box won't reach it. Any ideas on how to get it? I'm wondering if they don't realize that it can't be reached.

i also found the one up near the top of the screen and i couldn't get a picture of it either. sounds like something that needs to be fixed. also I've taken pictures of 14 valid hidden mickeys (highlighted with icon in the corner) but when i go to vmk central to see how many they've counted it says i only have 12. another glitch or am i doing something wrong?

Well, I only found two last night, but didn't really look for them. I took pics of them both, but the Mickey wasn't highlighted and I don't recall a special icon showing up. I put both in my photo album, then I got a message confirming the finds and saying I would get 50 points, I think it was, for each.

I have found 24 and also CM_Red said that not every Hidden Mickey counts, so you have more then your points tell you.

I got around 11.Werid to I never got the pin and points.They said find 10 more get other prize.

I have 27, finding them is my favourite part of VMK so far.

Yes, I am annoyed by this too. They are so close to the edge of the screen and the camera gets in the way, keeping you from taking a pic of it. I hope they fix it soon!

I've found probably in the 25-30 range today. I've been putting them in my photo album in my room for others to see if they need some clues on where to find them. Some of them are more obvious than others, of course, but most are just good for hints.

CeriseI got the bronze at 10, but no badge at 20. Said I get my next reward at 30.

You get the silver badge at thirty, no worries. I got it this morning and it said the next reward is at 40.

are you finding that most areas have more than one mickey? sometimes i only find one but most of the time i get two. i'm having a hard time getting past 21.

i never got any badges for my mickeys. i got some credits when i hit 20 but that's it.

I have 32 Mickeys. I have found 2 in almost every room. Some are really difficult to see. some have one and some none. of course, it is my understanding that there are 50 in all. My guess is that they are not available until we get other lands? going to post that on questions to the producer (can't remember name).

I have bronze mickey and silver mortimer. next reward at 40. (reminds me of fishing on toon town)

I think thats almost the Idea with the resemblence to ToonTown, also CM_Red said that the Mickeys will soon move to new spots keeping things fresh, and also so you can get all 50.

I do hope they will also allow you to get more after 50, eventually.

Wow, congrats KaeLynn! I've only found 11. When I went to VMK centeral it told me I only had nine though. I checked my pictues and each one is different. I'm so confused. I havent had a lot of game time either. Darn work... I thought I was coming down with a VMK flu, but it didn't work out. Oh well long weekend woohoo.

I am having the same issue, when it said I had been given 20 film it only gave me 10. =\

I posted this in the Hidden Mickey Spoiler thread, but I'm posting it here too for those who don't want to go into the Spoiler thread:

A last note regarding the Hidden Mickey spoilers:

If the word that I heard second-hand from a CM is correct, there may not be much point in doing too much work on listing the Official Hidden Mickeys.

The word is that the Mickeys will be moved, possibly daily. It might not be practical to do a guide which would become obsolete every day.

It's hard to say if they will make it easy, and have the Mickeys show up in the same map location every time. If that's the case, a guide may still be worthwhile.

However, if they stick with 50 Mickeys, they will want to spread them out over Frontierland and Tomorrowland too. That could mean that trying to complete the Mickey Quest after a shuffle would get rather tedious.

We'll need to wait and see what they do with the official Hidden Mickey Quest. Until then, I don't plan on doing much more to document the current locations.

On the other hand, I'm thinking of a little UN-official Hidden Mickey hunt. Something a lot closer to the Real Life© Hidden Mickey hunt.

Awesome! Oswald is a nice reference. You see, for those who don't know, Oswald the rabbit was Walt Disney's first creation, whom was later taken away by the newspaper company back when Oswald became an instant hit. Now that I see the reference, Mortimer must be a homage to Mickey's proposed name. Lucky for us, his wife called him Mickey instead. :D

You can take pictures of them as many times as you want, but they only count once. I only saved the picture if the gold Mickey showed up in the lower right corner of it. Good luck! :)

I had the exact same thing for a while...stuck on 48. I retook all of the pictures several times. FINALLY, I retook the one to the right of the waterfall (I forget which room), and the mickey icon appeared in the lower right corner indicating that I got credit for it. Immediately, I got my gold pin. It's buggy...I'm not sure what triggered the jump from 48 to 50 (as I said, I already had all 50), but I just kept trying until it worked.

When you're retaking photos of Mickeys, make sure you always hit 'cancel' to avoid wasting film when you are checking to see if it will give you credit or not for each mickey. Good luck!

It's so frustrating. I found all 50, shot them twice (waste of film) and still it only shows 47. I've been re-shooting them twice a day for three days and no luck is finding a *new* *old* mickey (what a waste of game time)......

Geek, same thing has happened to me. I've reshot them TWICE! Luckily I earned allmy fil, but still it's annoying..

I definitely have all 50, have photos of all 50, but it still says 48, argh..

Try deleting all of your Mickey photos (unless you are attached!) before you retake them. That might have worked for me.

Just try to ratake all of them, but follow these steps.

1) Retake ALL pictures.

2) If a picture already highlights the Mickey, but it doesn't have the official verification Mickey stamp, cancel the piture. This means you're already taken it.

3) Repeat Step 1 until you get all the pictures and find all the Mickeys.

I did this as well as the suggestions in the next post. I've deleted my whole album and gone through again, taking all 50 pics. None had gold mickeys, I've just given up for now... blah.. I've gone through 5 times now.. that is 250+ times taking pics, I am tired of it.

This might not help, but I've gone through this twice, and the two pictures I eventually had success with were the VMKCentral stage mickey, and the mickey to the right of the waterfall in one of the Adventureland rooms. It might have something to do with the very first picture you took and got credit for a mickey (if you can remember!). That was the case for me at least once, but it may have been a coincidence.

I do that a few times a day, and none of them come up with the Mickey stamp. I even thought it might help the system if I saved the photos a second time, that was a waste of film. :(

I have photos of all 50, X2. I've double checked my list with several other posted lists and nothing is different.

I guess I'll just keep working on it. Thanks for the help.

Thats Happened To Me But I Found 48 I Am About To Pull My Hair Out And Whar I Tryed That And No Luck :Cry: I Am So Mad And I Am Wasting All My Credits And Film. I Reported It 5 Times And They Never Fixed It.
