View Full Version : I Really Miss It, Guys
GoldenHeart 07-13-2008, 11:22 PM I understand some of your opinions about being glad the game is closed, and I know it was just a game, but it was a game where millions of kids all over the world who loved the disney parks could connect. It was a world of peace, a chance to experience the parks without having to spend money on it. It was an amazing, phenomenal world, and I fell in love with it. I will miss it forever. I mean really aged and not so good games like Club Penguin, Toontown, and all these other games that Disney has are still there. I know it was just a promotion, and that feels kind of like an excuse. It's not fair that VMK never had a chance.
So as Phil Collins says, VMK,
"Why can't they understand
the way we feel
They just don't trust
what they can't explain
You'll be in my heart"
Brave_Bloom_Kiari 07-13-2008, 11:27 PM I miss VMK,
That's A Wonderful Speach,
*Claps*
It Also Does Seem Like An excuse if you think About it :(
^.^
GoldenHeart 07-14-2008, 01:01 AM LOL thanks. I just get sooo unpreoccupied without it.
BlazinBeats 07-14-2008, 01:03 AM Oh, this is such a great thread. I miss it more and more each day. I don't care if people are shoving this "FORGET IT, IT'S ONLY A GAME" mess down my throat, they can't control my feelings. VMK meant A LOT to me. Why can't I just feel sad about it?
Misskayla 07-14-2008, 02:52 AM So true.
Y'know, what's sad was when it was still open I hardly went on it but that that it's closed I really miss it.
And I don't understand why people are now ranting that we shouldn't miss it and just get over it.
Anyway, I love the little quote from Phil ^.^
MLKnCookies 07-14-2008, 03:11 AM You don't know what you have until it's gone.
StitchRokcs 07-14-2008, 03:15 AM i really do miss VMK :( i tryied to move on playing other games like POTCO bt i feel like something is missing :( like theres a hole in my heart but someday (hopefully soon) ill move on 100%
Pink_Bink 07-14-2008, 03:36 AM I miss it lots!

SoccerRyan 07-14-2008, 04:42 AM Yeah, Disney made the wrong decision. The whole thing is just really confusing. Disney invested a lot of money into something that was as a "promotion" but then closed it down when it was at its prime. VMK really did serve as a great advertisment for Disney, and Disney would've been able to do even better if they made VMK pay to play. Even though I would not be able to play in that circumstance, at least the game would still be alive.
Disney can take the game away from our fingertips, but they can't take it away from our hearts. Long live VMK.
BaseballStarz 07-14-2008, 06:48 AM I thought, I wouldn't miss it much since of the taken, scamming etc..
But now I look back at my pictures, And I feel like I want to cry, But I don't I try to keep strong, And try to move on, Yes it's hard to move on, and of course I miss this game, I don't understand why people try other games to try and think if it can replace VMK, Nothing can replace VMK.
Shartruse 07-14-2008, 07:50 AM I feel like sobbing now when I'm checking up on vmk pal pics. Most of my pictures are with my closest friends and that makes me think how I never really had a chance to say goodbye to my other friends who were still always there for me when I felt down. Now I rarely see them on CP because of the different servers and because most of my friends don't have one. I really miss alot of people and I miss all those people your met along the way.
PrincessKairi12 07-14-2008, 11:59 AM I joined vmk when like 2 and a half years ago.. I met some of the MOST amazing friends, which I still talk to daily, on vmk.. it's sad they closed it down, it really was a nice game =/ at least we've still got memories ;D!
GoldenHeart 07-14-2008, 02:02 PM The staff has to realize that this isn't just going to slide by for some people. Like someone on the fourms said, once before, VMK was probably expecting something like this. "Oh Mother dearest! VMK is closing and I will never be able to go back on to my loving game again! I guess I will just have to go outside and play, now!" But instead they got something like this. "Mom!!! VMK is closing forever, and I'll never be able to play again. I have to find some other game to replace it." And so on. VMK just doesn't get the strife we're going through.
If they could see the million tears on our faces, they would forgive.

I do miss VMK. It was the best game ever.
I moved on to Neopets now.
