My prediction was it would be a romance musical like High School Musical and it would not keep my attention. So far, from the about 30 minuets i could stand watching it, it seemed like that.

I thought it was much worse than HSM (1) and slightly better than HSM (2)... Yes, I am admitting the first HSM was probably pretty darn good. Different story for the second one, lol.

I think that the predictable part kinda ruined it for me. You didn't need to watch the rest of the movie about 40 min through, because you already knew what was going to happen. .-.

I thought the movie was kind of a let down, it had so much potential, but it fell flat on it's face. You have the jonas brothers, demi Lavoto who was good in the as the bell rings short,and loads of other peole who are disney verterens. The story line was horrible, every single plot twist seemed to lead to no where, the songs and the dancing in my opinion were not as good as in their past disney music works(including their cartoons). Don't get me wrong, the actors for the most part were decent or above, and they did an okay job coming up with the theme. But it really wasn't that good. Oh, yea and Kevin Jonas=awesome in this movie, his part was awesome.
I give it 3/10, and that's being nice, because of their was a really awesome music video that followed. The music had basically anything you could want; mustaches, ninjas, the uncle from spy kids, a rapper, and so much more.

I watched the movie at a sort of party thing, but it wasn't a party for camp rock...i missed about the first fifteen minutes of the movie though.

And to comment on a couple of you guys, you act like disney hasn't made a good disney channel movie in a long time, but minutemen was probally the best one they have came out with in the last couple of years, and yes I am counting the horrible halloweentown and hsm movies.

Having it be the day after, let me show you what I did:

Went to my friends house to watch half of it

Heh. I don't like the Jonas Brothers.

They made one of the J Bros sound stupid,

Yes, because if you watched the first part of the movie, where Demi is singing her song, it shows Joe as the 2nd person on the cast, but Kevin and Nick are the last 2! I LOLed when Nick said to Joe, "Oh, and we told the press you'd be recording a video with the winner of Final Jam!!!" "What?!?!?!?"

My sister recorded it and disney set it for 105 minutes. And that got my sister really worked up.

Most Disney Channel shows these days have the same plot.
Boy meets girl. Boy likes girl. Girl likes boy. Boyfriend/girlfriend messes up and boyfriend/girlfriend gets angry. Boyfriend/girlfriend makes uup for what he/she did wrong. The end.

Now, I actually am a fan of HSM. They took this plot and made it different. Jump In was good as well. But Camp Rock? Bad acting and a very cheesy ending. How come just by her singing a song that he likes makes him get over the fact that she did something bad? It's just very unrealistic.

Dude this movie isn't that good. It has the same story line as lots of other Disney movie. If there wasn't the romance thing going on I might've liked it. The romance stuff is in all the Disney movies and its just so cheesy now. Overall I'd give it 4/10 .-.

Camp Rock 2 is the sequel to the successful hit Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock. Disney is pending the script that's in development due to the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato's busy schedule.[4] Auditions for extra will begin in July/August 2008 and the movie will be filmed at Camp Wanakita in Haliburton, Ontario and Kilcoo Camp in Minden, Ontario where the first movie was also filmed.[5] The cast are expected to begin filming again on late spring or summer 2009[4]. The movie will be released late 2009 or early 2010.

Gary Marsh, the president of the Disney Channel World, had confirmed about a sequel to Camp Rock to New York daily News; a script is already being written for 'Camp Rock 2'. [6]

Alan Baltes, the publisher of the Acting Info blog, is reporting that pre-production for Disney Channel's Camp Rock 2 will likely get underway shortly, now that Camp Rock has aired. In my opinion, the Jonas Brothers can sing. It doesn't mean your a fan-girl, if you like them. It describes if you like them and your a girl, but your talking about the sterotypical way. Anywho, I love that movie! And Disney always has cheesy romances, its what makes the movie. So I liked it, and it was very cute.

P.S. You don't have to be a fan of Demi or Jonas to like the movie. It depends on how well the actors/actresses act and what the movie is like.
