Dimensions: 500 x 200 pixels
Filesize: 250,000 bytes
Dimesions: 2

We're not going to get totally ripped if somebody gets, like, a littler bit over from, say, like adding a line of text or something, like, you know?

Myself, I have felt to not even use a sig at all...

Only my user name and title for individually for now...

Finally! At least now, people's sig won't be huge. This brings me to my next point. May I keep my signature? It's about 620x128 pixels, so may I keep mine?

I love sigs, but am so grateful for these new guidelines. When I make individual sigs, I always try to stay under these figures anyway. Now that it's official, hopefully it will cut down on some signature clutter.

This is from the forum rules...

"Signature Lengths" - Users should be considerate of other users on the forums. Excessive lengths of signatures cause the flow of the threads to be disrupted. Signature lengths over 10 text lines will be removed from user's profiles. This also applies to graphical representation of signatures that are larger than 500 x 200 pixels in length and width size.

This is a great idea-I changed mine to reflect the changes, though I think it was within the limits in the first place...

Now, if only some of those who have a sig the size of Disney World could be informed that they're too huge? It's not right for them to ignore the rule... I've seen about 10 of them...ironically they have shown up about the same time the rule was invoked.

I had to click on a box and turn off the signature. Those avatars, attachments, pictures and signatures are stored in your computer. It is easy for sig hog to take up a lot of you computer's memory.

I will wait until get even smaller.

And if any of you need a signiture that size i will gladly make you one. Just pm me with what you want.

How to estimate the size of a signature or other thing.

:xmas5: Right click with your mouse on the item.
:xmas5: A menu appears and click on properties at the bottom of the menu.
:xmas11: Repeat this for each item in signature as the total size is based on all parts of the signature.

This will give you and estimated width, height and total pixel count.
Remember that even if you have a tiny little picture it can have so much graphics that it is actually more of a bother on slow computers than 7 inch high lettering.

You are lucky to be here because some sites do not allow signatures let alone ones as big as they currently are.

This site uses standard signature tools but you have to pay to have a signature. Some people paste pictures instead of paying for the signatures which I find rude because I have signatures off so I do not need to clean out my comptuer all the time.
