I figured the 2nd best place to spend
VMK's closing day
is right here on VMKF.
I was sitting here,
eatting my chips :)
when I realized something.
I've never lost something close to my heart.
I've never had a grandmother pass away.
I've never had a dog run away.
And now, I really felt what losing something was like.
It just blew me away with shock,
I will never be able to go on VMK again
It seems... so unrealistic.
I always thought VMK will always be there
I know what your thinking,
She's crying over... a game?!?!
but VMK was never just a game
VMK was a community.
:( Anyways, share some memories, chat, whatever you like in this VMK forum.

Closing VMK is like ripping my heart out.
There's not much more to say. :[

-sigh- Has anyone noticed the staff acting a little
different?
not quite as...
happy and friendly.
Eh, don't really blame them.

I imagine that VMK was a much larger part of the hosts' lives than anyone else's. Imagine losing not just a game, but your job, and you must be bubbly and happy on your last day. I see on the faces of the Hosts the familiar expression of a Disney-painted smile.

I talked to staff, and I asked;
"Did our efforts do anything? Did Disney even think about reconsidering?"
They said;
"Unfortunately, no."

That really disappoints me,
not the fact that we didn't save VMK
but the fact that disney didn't even seem to care.
They act like they don't care about us...
Probably don't >_<

You don't know what you got until it's gone.

So true, cookies. Worst day in disney-online history, i'd say.
