Maybe I am still upset about being called a cheater during the Blackheart quest... either way, creating a pin with your face on it?? Little over the top if you ask me. VMK creators are much more then just Yavn and even prior to VMK closing I can count on one hand how many times I have seen him in the game.... Lily, Hula and Fin deserve a Host pin dedicated to them before this.

This is all in my own opinion... I just feel like it's a slap in the face to those behind the scenes who work on and in VMK every day. Maybe if he actually spent more time in the game I would feel differently.... but for a guy who always talks about how he's on vacation..... ego much?

All of the items that have come out in the last 40 days and some that haven't yet are awesome. My biggest complaint is that I have had no time to use them or play with them to see what I can make. This is not something that any of the people at VMK could have done anything about (again a high-up and money issue).

I only hope that one of your new games does as good a job at filling the void.

Never said they had anything to do with the closing, just saying that the hosts have spent more time in VMK then Yavn ever has and that I believe they should have something dedicated to them for all their unbelievable patience, love and dedication they have shown to the players of VMK.

Uhhhh....he didn't create the game on his own. There are other producers, but he just got the spotlight.

And I totally agree that the Host and people in the game deserve respect and more. I know I thank them for their hard work and dedication every time I see them, and yes they spend more time IN the game than Yavn; this seems primarily due to their roles don't you think?

The main difference, for me, is that the hosts are people who are to watch and keep the kingdom safe, and Yavn and the development staff create the world we have lived and played for the past 3+ years. I appreciate both the builders and the care takers of the kingdom. My point was not that the hosts deserve any less, but by popular demand the players asked for a Yavn pin.

Thank you for you comment on the rooms, I will miss making them and seeing all of the new materials and rooms come out. I did make one last room, Herbie Rides Again.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact he created VMK, I just think that for someone that so many looked up to, he should have spent more time in the game, a half hour a week is better then nothing. If you created it, I would think you would want to experience it??

I personally would've worn the Yavn pin with pride. I'm sure if Yavn could have saved VMK he would have, but it just wasn't in Disney's plans. He created this wonderfully fantastic world for us all to play in for almost 3 years and for that I am grateful.

Yavn doesn't even play VMK. The HOST_'s played VMK more than he did. To me it feels like as if your in a group of people like 3 maybe, and you all have to do a science project. And nobody wants to do the work but yet you do all the work, but the evil kid next to you lies and says that he did all the work and he gets all the credit for it but yet the person who did the work gets an F. Ah. I see what you were saying. imo, I don't think that anybody deserved their own pin. But if anybody did, it'd probably be him since he was the one who designed VMK.

I also understand what you're saying and where you're coming from with your opinion. I have a different way of looking at it. The Yavn pin was originally suppose to be a prize for the Trading Card Game, and was a special edition prize at that. Who knows if they eventually would've made other staff pins too?

Although Yavn did not spend as much time in VMK as the hosts & staff did (at least now under his Yavn avatar, anyway) he put a lot of behind the scenes hard work into making the game great for all of us to play.

In my eyes, I've always viewed Yavn as kinda like the "Roy Disney" of VMK. Walt was not around long enough to make sure Disney World got completed so Roy took over. Walt, always one to embrace technology, would've loved the idea of a Virtual Kingdom and Yavn is the one that made that a reality. Sadly Yavn wasn't strong enough to keep it open for us, but it was great while it lasted and his contribution to the game should not be discounted.

Let's not let Disney think we were just caught up in the moment when we all contacted them prior to closing. I know things have obviously slowed down but the worst thing you can do is give up!!
