I was in Main Street today and I was screaming SAVE VMK!!! some dude in a flip hat said shut up to me, some other dude said -tries hard not to laugh- and another one said It's too late to save vmk. I got really shocked by that. All of us VMKF'ers are very out and about about saving vmk and others in the real game are just 'forget it'. What can we do about those people who discourage others to save vmk? At least just try and do it. We can all make a difference.

I'm refuse to give up, UNTIL VMK closes.

Everyone I've run into are sad VMK's closing. I've talked to so many people about how sad and mad we all are about VMK closing.

Some people have obviously given up and say "just enjoy the time you have left." Maybe they never "got" the magic of VMK or are defeatists. Even if VMK closes this week, we have sent the message that they can't leave the concept. They need to bring it back better than ever. The longer VMK is down, the more money it will cost them to get "back in front on" the competition.

ASIDE: has anyone got a working 3D model of the basic VMK characters yet? If someone has or could try one for, say the Alice free 3D program used in schools, that would be totally awesome! :)

I think VMK is going to close anyways. We signed petitions, got on the news and all of that. I think there is nothing we can do :(

I have noticed this also, since I am a member of other forums I was shocked to find out how different their additudes towards this compared to here. They told me to stop trying to save vmk and give up, whille you guys have been trying to save it. I can see now which is the better forum.

It's never too late to save VMK.
We have to keep fighting, even after VMK closes.

Its Not To Late!

Perhaps they said "it's too late" because they realize that it really is too late... Of course, they didn't have to be so rude but it is pretty much a done deal.

While we all love VMK, and some of you have gone to great lengths to save it; Disney has made up it's mind. In fact, it made up it's mind on April 7th, 2008.

The people who tell you to "enjoy what time you have left" aren't giving up. They've simply realized that they've done everything they can to convince Disney otherwise and that they're fighting for something that can't be changed.

To those of you who are spending these last days protesting non-stop, I want to let you know that it IS your last chance to enjoy our beloved VMK. Feel free to send your emails, your calls, and whatever else you wish to do; but if that is all you're doing, I feel bad for you.

we've only got about nearly 1 day left so im just enjoying my time left on vmk and figuring out a way to keep in touch with my friends

We should at least never give up but as CapnOlaf said here, until vmk closes. But who knows? They might bring it back for like a day or something just to have another look at it. But there is something we might all can do, TRY.
