Well, this is sort of a "soft" opening, as I feel i'm not even halfway finished, but I have worked diligently on what's complete and wanted to go ahead and get it out there.

A Warning: The pages of the new skin are media-intensive, so page loading can go slowly even for the fastest of computers. Do not be in a hurry when you prepare to browse it's pages.

Whew, its making me so sad that I have to give up my iPod for my cell phone, but hopefully my parents will still let me keep my music and add some of my new music on it as well :)

Yes, it's just waiting in my long list of files to clean up and process. I plan to have everything that could have been heard on the site available by the end of things. It's just a slow process, as it's a daunting amount of things to do. haha

Definately! I wanted to share with everyone, so you can either download the zip files from the zip tab which contain the mp3 files of each section that I've finished so far, or you can right-click the linked title above every play bar and "Save Target As.." in order to save specific songs that you want.

I recorded with mp3mymp3, cleaned with audacity, edited sound spikes and empty space and exported the mp3s with Acid Pro.

I got lazy and took a few days (ok, more like weeks) off from this, but I had some free time all night so I made a few more updates and additions to the page.

Added in Log in and Game Interface sounds, along with all item sounds that I had. Magic sounds would be up if I hadn't messed up my records and wasn't sure what to name which sounds. I'll fix that once VMK is open and I can check what sound goes with what magic.

Also added a few guest rooms (tiki, tomorrowland, tea party), put up a better quality version of the Refreshment corner, and put the correct room names, instead of what I thought they were called XD

Also added the Dungeon Intro Music to the Fantasyland Collection....don't know how I missed that the first time. o_o

And I just remembered the Checkers room music, so I'm going to update that in the game area as soon as I post this.

I think that's it for now.

Well, i'm somewhat happy, and somewhat disappointed. I figured out what was causing the quality to drop off. So... happy because I now am getting better quality versions of things, but disappointed because there's really not enough time to go back and recapture ALL of the bad quality clips that I got (like the Halloween Main Street sounds :( )

One final day to get as much as I can and still actually enjoy my last day on VMK.

I'm sorry to hear that you cried, though. I understand it, but it makes me sad none the less. At least we can save some small part of the game.

The same way that you upload any mp3 to your iPod. (Is there another way besides iTunes?)
You just save the mp3 by placing your mouse over the link above the song, which should be the title of the song, right-click your mouse and choose "Save Target As".
Then it will allow you to save it to your computer, and you can open it through iTunes and place it on your iPod.

I feel so guilty when you guys keep saying that you're crying. ;_; The music isn't supposed to make others sad. It's supposed to fill you full of fond and happy memories. Please don't be sad :)
