In order to say goodbye to VMK in a meaningful way, I think it would be nice to do our Thanksgiving contest again, but with a couple of twists;-) Since we already know everyone is going to miss their friends because this is such a wonderful family community, I think we should concentrate on the 'things' in VMK

1. List the three (3) "Virtual PHYSICAL" things you will miss the most. These can be NPCs, clothing, furniture, rooms, etc.

2. List the number one (1) "Virtual PHYSICAL" thing that you are thankful you will never have to deal with again.

3. List two (2) things that you think could improve VMK.

More NPCs - I felt so sorry for Frontierland

Quests that involved going to each room and finding a unique item that was always there so that everyone could appreciate the detail that went into the creation of the game.

The 3 things I'll probably miss most have to be...
1) The amount of furniture and clothing items I've managed to get in the past 3 years. It all seems a bit of a waste of time. I've had fun with it though, so I guess that counts. :) Some bits of furniture are put towards games I make and I am gonna miss making games too. I love hosting games, and designing them. Wish me look making games on Pirates, TT or CP.

2) I will personally miss Pirates. That game was always there when I needed credits, or when I just needed something to do. I wish VMK would open one of those for real cash... haha.

3) I will certainly miss the whole atmosphere of my daily routine. You log in, you check Emporium for new stuff. There's always the chance of a new quest to complete, or new things you missed in the HOST Games the night before. You ALWAYS click Esmeralda for a cheap 20 credits before you click the cash register. Things like this I iwll miss most. I loved just going to Town Square and sitting there. It feels just like like the real Main Street, and the magic has always been in the game for me. People complain about loss of "magic". It's always been there, yet nobody can find it, it's hidden away.

The thing I'm really glad to see go is the management. They had a lot of bugs. :) See a few posts by Priz, and he explains what is exactly wrong with them.

Things that need improving have to be...
1) More space on friend lists! Come on, out of a game of over 1 million players, 150 can't really get us very far can it?

2) I didn't like having to make a new friend in the quests. That option should have been taken out. You had to remove a current friend and hope that they would add you again. I hated this task in a quest.

Wow, just three? The three physical things I will miss the most:

1) All my avatars. Most of them were made with a friend or family member in mind which made them seem more real. They all have their own style and personality.

2) Scary trees. I love those things.

3) The waterpark pool. I think the most fun I have ever had in VMK was the day the waterpark pool came out. I was "walking on water".

My friends - You guys are like a part of my family, always helpful, kind. Oh, and I won't forget awesome. All my friends are like gems to me, "You are awesome!" :)

VMK_Wolf - Heehee! All that stalking in one day made me feel all fuzzy inside, and when she said "Silly, you make me smile. LOL." made me feel welcome and was the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long while. ;)

Pirates - How will I not miss this game?! POTC is an awfully fun game and I really enjoy myself in it. Just a few games, and POOF! I get at least 5k credits. I <3 this minigame too much.

a. Rooms. The possibilty for one room was endless, and you could do anything you set your mind while making a room.
b. Games. They were so fun to play and playing with other people was so fun, they gave you a chance to have fun and virtually socalize.
c. NPCs. Every day, I'd stay with one NPC for five whole minutes, watching what it has to say, and I'd click on it constantly to see what it has to say, not just for the credits.
P.S. If I can do friends, even though that doesn't really count as a physical thing, then add that one or replace it with anything, because my friends were the most important thing to me in VMK and I will miss them truly :(

2. Definately scam rooms. You enter a room, and they (the owner) says that you have to give them something to enter! Even though VMK made that rule, people still break it.

a. Possibly reducing the credits on some magic pins. 10,000 is something that not everyone can get easily, and everyone should have the chance to try something as cool as magic!
b. Removing pay-to-play on pirates would be a smart thing to do. Their own rule was, you can't have a pay-to-play room, and I'm fine with pay-to-play pirates, but I'm pretty sure there are a handful of players out there that want to play pirates for free, and simply can't because they don't want to risk their money.

1. I'm really going to miss all my friends, we had some great times together, and they still dealt with me even though I had a strange obsession with virtual cookies from the cookie machine in vmk ( I know it's a penny press but I don't like that name.)
I'd have to say the top hat is my favorite clothing item I had in VMK, I had it for more than two years and no I didn't buy it again when it was re- released because the original hat has the magic and memories.:) My third favorite would have to be designing all the rooms I made, I'm still working on my last room and I'm trying to make it really nice so I can have a good bye party.
The thing I'm glad to see go is
All the scammers and the rude people they made the game lose some magic for me.
I think vmk needs to let us pick the music in our rooms, I was tired of listening to the same music everyday I eventually turned my sound off. I wish we had more costumes I would of liked a Eeyore costume the most ;).
The absolute last thing I have to say about vmk is that I'm going to miss it, and I'll never
forget it and that's a promise I been playing this game since Early August 2005 and I'll play it until May 21st,2008 when the game officially closes.

1. Three things I will miss so much will be

My Expedition Everest room. It was my favorite place to test out all of my new ideas for rooms. It was also my favorite place to be, whether I was afk or just hanging with a friend. I'm going to miss this room a lot...but at least we have pictures. :)
My mickey ears. I mostly only wore any color of mickey ears (except on Christmas and New Years of course :P) and I'm going to miss seeing my avatar walking around the kingdom with them on.
VMK at Halloween and Christmas time. Just thinking about the memories from when VMK was decorated makes me feel homesick for those days.


2. One thing I'm thankful I'll never have to deal with is

Playing fireworks for quests. It was my favorite game until they made it 'remixed'. I always had trouble trying to play fireworks for quests ever since they changed it. I'm glad that will be over with!


3. Two things that could improve VMK are

Well, there's the obvious one...fix crashing and lag! The first Blackheart's quest would have been much easier if everyone wouldn't crash every five minutes. And even before that, you could crash or lag at the worst possible times, like when you are in line for a host room. They fixed DC...why not crashing?
A better report system. I'm not sure of what a better one would be, but I remember numerous times seeing people do things I wouldn't want a young person to see, reporting it, and getting the answer "Please only use the report button for emergencies". That really made me annoyed, it was like VMK was almost saying "so what?".

-Friends.The first and probably biggest thing that I will miss the most, will be my friends. Through thick and thin, my friends have been there for me. Although I do not know these people in reality, I have grown to love them as if I did, because we are share one thing.. a love for the magic of Disney. My friends have helped me in so many ways..whether be buying items so I could help complete my guest rooms, or just helping me feel better on those day that were a little gloomy. My friends are a major part of VMK.

-Creating Quests. At first, I never really made guest rooms, simply because I didn't really have much talent for it. Though, as the months went by, with the help of friends, tips of staff room makeovers, and just a little practice, I became very good at them. And soon, I became very popular in VMK for my Questing rooms. I will truly miss making quests because, first, I have a great time thinking of an awesome Disney idea, then designing the room to match. And second, watching all of the players play the quests. I will miss the comments and reactions to my quests. I get a lot of satisfaction when players tell me how much they have enjoy what I created. I will truly miss not being able to open the Quest Park I was looking forward to build, but am truly glad that I got the opportunity to provide two-five minutes of a fun quest and decent prizes for those who played.

-New Items. I always enjoyed the weekends, not just because it was the end of the school week, but because VMK items used to release every Friday. Whether it be a little pin, or a new article of clothing, I was always so excited to get to change up my pin lanyard and change my avatar's clothing. In reality, it's not always easy to change your look, or be someone you can't be. But in VMK.. you can be anyone, and anything is possible. You can be Captain Jack Sparrow, Peterpan, or dress up as Mickey Mouse. You can wear new and old pins that reflect your favorite parts of Disney. Now that VMK releases items on Saturday, I always wait and wait all week for Friday night to see the update to Shrunken Ned's column, and as soon as I see the new items, I feel like a little kid and try to think of how I can put them into my rooms for others to enjoy.

2. List the number one (1) "Virtual PHYSICAL" thing that you are thankful you will never have to deal with again.

-I am thankful for those who have helped me, or helped me to feel better when I was having a bad day or feeling sick. Those people helped me get through some difficult times, and without them I'm not sure if I would have been able to.

3. List two (2) things that you think could improve VMK.

-The mini games. Although there are a couple fun games now, since the opening of VMK, there have been no new mini games. I did enjoy sinking ships, exploding fireworks, catching ghosts, and taking pictures of animals. My faorite to games are Pirates and Jungle Cruise, they are two of my favorite parts of Disney.

-The prices of items. Some times the prices for some of my favorite items were prices pretty high, making it difficult for me to purchase more than one to add to my rooms, trade, and give away.

-Some of the attitudes. Sometimes, players for whatever reason took it upon themselves to really have a poor attitude toward everything. People always would complain about the new items, or complain about something someone said, or just complain about everything possible. I will surely not miss dealing with those who decided to be rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful for no reason - it truly brought down the morale of VMK.

Improvements:

-A better way for everyone to get what they want. I have always wanted a stitch hat, and it took me until two months ago to get one, because I traded away my Blackheart Quest prizes. It was kind of sad because I really loved those prizes, but had to sacrifice them for something I really always wanted. I feel extremely fortunate that I had the opportunity to get everything I wanted in VMK - A Stitch hat, full Sparrow, and an award for my quest room (I was fortunate enough to win Best Quest two times)

Three thing that I will miss are -

My magic suite room - It took me forever to build it! I made it to be like a actual house with a kitchen, rooms, living room and stuff. I think I'm mainly going to miss that because my and I would always hang out in there. I've had so many good memories from that room.


My pins - Another thing I'm going to miss are my pins and magic! It took me forever to get the pins and magic I needed, and now VMK is closing! I still need a few more magic pins to complete my set, so I think I can get them!


My friends - Finally, I'm going to miss my friends. I know that I'll see some of them on this site, but I don't know where I'll be able to find the other ones. I've made some really good friends and it's sad to see them go.


What I wont miss -

The fireworks game - It was such a hard game for me! I couldn't get pass level 3! I hated playing this game for quests.


Improvements-

I would like to see more stuff released at a cheaper price. I would love to see the dream bed released. It would go perfect in my room. Everything is too expensive! With the prices lowered, it'll give us less time earning credits and more time to hang out with friends.


Also, I wish they could fix up the rules a bit. People don't seem to follow the rules, and if they fixed them up and maybe enforce them people would start to follow them. The report system should be fixed along with that.

Things i will miss:

My Minnie Hat. I love it so much and i will hate to see it go
My Inferno. I got it the week before VMK said they would close and i worked so hard to get it and now all my hard work went to waste =[
My dream ears. I remember Dream Month and all the long hours i spent sitting in rooms waiting for host and the last day of it,almost time for VMK to close, i got my first and last dream, my dream ears. Thanks HOST_Lily =]


What i won't miss:

All the stress from trading with people, trying to get a good trade and not get scamed.


Improvments:

I would lie to see move chances to get stuff from the Beta days.
I think they should change VMK hours because on the East cost the hours are 10am-1am and on weekdays i can't play before school and i can't stay up for closing. On weekends i have to wait a couple hours before it opens =\
I wish VMK was like it was when it first came out because it was more fun then. It wasn't as stressing as it is today.

Things I will miss:
#1 My best friends on VMK that I had for a long time. Without them, I would of been very lonely in VMK. Also, without them I would of never have great ideas for great guest rooms. Thanks guys. I'll miss you guys the most. =(

#2 Making the coolest guest rooms. I don't know about you but making awesome guest rooms is the coolest thing I ever done on VMK. Making guest rooms are so inspirational, it's like making beautiful masterpieces on VMK and display them to the public. Now, I'll miss that feeling that I wanted to make the greatest guest rooms ever.

#3 Missing my favorite places on VMK. Some of the places in VMK reminds me of my great friends that we also we hang out in. Also, I'll miss some of those places in VMK like the Elephant Bathing Pool & Castle Gardens that helps me calm down because of the sound & music. Whenever I get stress out, I go to go those places I like. Good times, good times. =)

Glad to see go:

#1 My credits .. All my VMK life i've been making credits almost everyday. It was very stressful because of all my other stuff in life (homework, piano, etc.) Now since VMK is closing, I wouldn't have to waste my time on getting credits when I can do other cool things in life, instead of saving up '' virtual '' credits. ;)

Improvements:

#1 Would be nice to see a Haunted Mansion Ride, been '' dying '' to see one. ;)

#2 Better quests would be nice too. If they ever have another mini game(s) part of the quest, maybe just maybe to make lower scores. Also the quest to have big credits too. =)

Three Things I Will Miss :

1. My sparrow shirt, it was given to me by a very close friend on vmk that i will miss when vmk closes.

2. Great friends, you know the people who could always cheer you up? Always had time to hang out with you? Always played one more game of pirates with you even though they really had to go? I will miss them so much

3. Just wandering around vmk, i know it sounds stupid but sometimes you didnt have much to do or you friends werent on and you could just wander around vmk, go to places you never go to, see the new items, or maybe just meet great people in rooms. Whenever you went off there was always something worth finding on your journey.

Things ill be glad to see go :

People asking for free. Like its ok if i offer but most people assume because you have SOME magic and SOME rare clothes, that your mega rich. Its not always the case and people just think they can get free of you even if you dont know them!

Things That Should Be Improved :

1. Size of friend list, yes quite a few people have said this and more will but what if your list is already full and your best mate in real signs up? You have to add them, or if your going round vmk and you just meet the best person in somewhere like central plaza, You add them but at the pit of your stomach even though you may not talk to the person you deleted much they were still there for you and its makes you feel guilty

2. The VMK Dictionary, yes we could say alot and vmk did add many words during vmks time but still there was always some words you had to ' Dictionary dance ' to make you sentance make sence and sometimes it could be so frustrating.

I have many more things i will greatly miss about vmk and i would just like to say Thanks For The Great 3 Years VMK :)

Three things that I'll miss-

1) The public guest rooms. They were great places to hang out and to walk through. They're all similar to the lands in the real parks, which makes the experience of VMK all the more enjoyable.

2) The NPCs. What better way is there to get credits? And, it's really exciting when you actually see them in the parks.

3) Making totally cool guest rooms. It's so cool that we get to make cool guest rooms and share them with everyone. With all the creative furnishings, the sky's the limit when we furnish our rooms.

One thing I won't miss-

1) Pay to play/ride. The Fantasyland Courtyard rides makes us pay 10 credits to ride, which adds up, as you go on the rides more and more. And paying to play Pirates of the Caribbean, even if you don't win in the end. It totally stunk. >_<

Improvements for VMK-

1) The Lag. Lag made it difficult to finish a quest quickly and made everything slow and laggy.

2) Being able to type more than two forms of one word. (Such as typing two periods, ((..)) instead being able to type three periods ((...)) ) It was very frustrating.

3) Lower prices. It's nearly impossible to get 10,000 credits in a small period of time to buy newly realeased magic. Lowering prices would be better.

~I will miss VMK_Lion. Ever since that ROAR! made of crates in his room for the everest ride-a-thon, he has been my favorite.
~I will miss my bird hat. I have wanted it since I was a guest. StitchRokcs got one for me which was one of the nicest things someone has done for me.
~I will miss checkers. When ever I had no friends online, or just needed some time alone, I palyed checkers. Over 280 wins and I'm still playing until the end.

~I'm glad I don't have to deal with the dark rides. Just to ride them to pull out the sword for a prize was torture.

~Staff taking action when players use a certain "language" in a Disney rated G game.
~Make Frontierland more attractive by adding a mini game or NPC.

The three things I will miss:

My friends -
My friends were the most precious possession I had ever since I met my first one, Pink_Bink. She will be the only friend I'll miss the most out of all. All of my friends were all grouped with each other making us a whole new family.

My memories -
I will miss the memories of us friends and other people going on VMK. The events, quests, parties, everything else. I will also miss the time sthe staff always helped us with these events.

The drama -
The drama was very important. It was a hard thing but it was easy to overcome. Drama was probably the only thing that kept us friends friends after all. Without drama, life would be so simple.

The thing I'm glad to see go:

Pirates: was always lag, and also too much people complain

Improvements:
Having the word "pie" in the dictionary
Letting us say every disney character in the way like PeterPan or WinnieThePooh

I am going to miss all of my hats, but there is one that I am going to miss the most. One would be the recent Gator Hat I received from a friend. It feels nice to know that there are people who out there that give and decide not to take. I would like to thank that person; you know who you are.
I am going to miss my Bat Magic. A very close friend gave this to me as a gift when I couldn't afford it the first October (2005). We were very close, but he stopped coming on late last year. I remember the time when we were sitting in his ice cube castle, and I was saying how the room was amazing. Then he asked me to trade and gave it to me at no cost at all. Thank you very much, and I hope that we will see each other in the future.
I will miss my "New Years, See you Memories!" room. This was the first room that I made that a staff member came to. It was a huge hit, and it was also the first time I was on the Top List. It was the best new years I've ever had, and I felt accomplished, even if I didn't win Best Quest. :)

I'm happy that I don't have to deal with trading. I was never a fantastic trader. When I ended up forgetting to buy something, I could never trade for it. Never had the right times; glad that's over!
3) I wish VMK would have added more mini games. After playing the same games over and over, they got a little boring.
I wish VMK would have lowered their prices. What are we, made of credits? [at least I wasn't...]

Going to miss

I am going to miss all my friends who have helped me so far and aren't on the VMKF so I can't even contact them.

Pirates! I always loved that game (even though I lose lol)!

The glitches that we could do like BoomCrash on waterslide that were all so funny.

The scammers that were always killing other people's time and work. I can't believe they would waste their time scamming others in a game.

More words in the dictionary, like said before "pie" or "JackSparrow" and things like that.

To take out that cyclone loading feature under the people.

Top things I will miss:
1. Designing rooms. Only one of my rooms ever got much notice, but I've really enjoyed building all my rooms.
2. Quests, both player made and host quests. Quests were one of the first things I discovered on VMK, and I've always enjoyed them (even though I rarely won due to a slow computer.)
3. Hats. I never wear one in real life, but it's very rare to see ImjustBeeNme without one.

Things I'l be glad to see go:
baby, taken, and people who beg for free

Improvements:
1. An 'invisibility mode' where I could be online without showing up on anyone's list. [Often at the end of a very stressfull day I'd log on to relax (usualy by building a room) and end up spending all my time answering messages and explaining why the room I was in was closed (because it's hard to design a room with people in the way, and I can't really pay much attention to conversation when placing objects.) I just needed twenty minutes or so of not having to interact with anyone.]
2. A beginner's level to fireworks and pirates. It's very hard to get good at the game when you can't get a high enough score to make it past the first round. I think this is the main reason so many people never really liked fireworks. And in Pirates, I know there is a level one, but since anyone can play it, the newer or less experienced players regularly get demolished by expert players, and since you have to pay to play they often lose credits every time they play. It would be really nice to have a learner's level that could only be played by those who had won 20 times or less.

Think we all know that missing the good times of VMK is in the past..

My tiki room. It was my first room I picked when I signed up for VMK, and I've always been very proud that I've somehow managed to keep it!

Three Virtual Things I'll Miss Most
1). My Virtual Clothes- Man, I wish some of them I could wear in real life! (okay, well maybe not) but they were really cool! I don't even have that many flip flops in real life! xD
2). My Pins & Magic- When I had first joined VMK, I hated pins, and how people judged you on your lanyard. I had finally started liking pins and I had a nice magic collection from magic month, but now I'm just going to loose it all.
3). My purple flag- :( I loved that purple flag from the gingerbread contest! It was so adorable! xD

One Virtual Thing I Won't Miss
1). Bug Eyes- Those things just creeped me out. I may have found a liking to them once or twice, but a very short liking. They reminded me of giant bugs, and I dislike bugs strongly.

Two Things to Improve VMK
1). Actual Responses from Contact Us- Instead of that automated message from Shorty, I think that Host's/other staff could respond, kinda like a call for help, but more detailed.
2). No talking in Pirates- Those rude people wanted to make me scream!

Things I'll miss:

My friends. People I have grown to be good friends with, hanging out and chitt-chatting about nothing and everything.

Making rooms. I love new items and making rooms. I will miss this emensley. It was fun to think of new ways to create things and new ways to use even old items. I had alot of fun making rooms.

I will miss playing pirates.


Things I'm glad to see go:

Well, lag. Not many online games where you have to worry about the lag.


Improvements:

More servers so more people can be in the same room and less lag in pirates. Maybe lower some of the prices on magic and other items on sale so everyone can enjoy them (especially since they are already only available for a short time period anyways).

Off Topic : What if VMK was like Toowntown?? What if they made it a 3D game like Toontown? I think that would be cool!

3 things i'll miss:

1. My hotel pins!! I personally LOVE this set, as it reminds me so much of all the parks around the world. I also remeber how overjoyed I was when I got my Grand Californian Hotel Pin!! :D

2. My favorite light red lanyard shirt, My red jeans, and my RED FLIPS! They have always been my favorite outfit since i traded my green bag pants in beta.

3. My "The Spirit of Christmas" Room!!! I have had so many friends donate and help me with this room it's more than a room. It has a little piece of frendship in each piece :) Not to mention I just finished it and christmas is my favorite holiday EVER!

One thing I won't miss:
Taken. There are so many bad things that came from this! So many annoting people always asking you if your taken and the whole sci-fi dine-in is mostly taken people. I mean, it's OK i guess.... but it's not fair that you can't go into a room without hearing that stuff. Also, so many people do taken innapropriately. It truly is something i won't miss.

2 (or 3) Changes:
1. Lag! I wish at least for this last month of vmk someway, they could fix the lag!
2. More things themed to the actual disney parks! Like the figment hats, the dreams castle, and the epcot turnstiles! :D

~The Matterhorn Public Room. For some reason I always start my time playing VMK here. Even if I'm just in the room for a second, it's always the first place I go.

~My virtual pin collection. I loved collecting the pins

~My rooms (especially my Haunted Wonderland, It's Not Easy Being Green Swamp, Tiki Kingdom Safari, Tiki Island Falls, Pirate Canon, Gingerbread Village and Cozy Cottage). They were so much fun to make!

1. My friends. They were just like the members of my family. They were great to talk to and I don't want to see them go. They were a great part of my life. Made me happy when I was sad.
2. All the virtual items I accumulated in the past three years. I had fun doing quests to get these items. I will always miss my dear items.
3. The mini games and the quest kiosk I got the week before VMK was announced to close.

People that scammed and did "Taken" It made the well known Disney online game " Virtual Magic Kingdom " worse.

They need more NPC's. I enjoyed going around pretending to talk to the NPC's. I also like the amount of credits you get. It's fun to talk to friends around the NPC's.

Top 3 Virtual Things I Will Miss:

1) Without question, my witch hat..those that know me will attest to my constant wearing of this hat and a great friend I met in vmk did a wonderful drawing of me in this hat (displayed in my default picture). So the meaning of this hat is priceless...

2) All of my friends rooms.. the hours spent in their rooms sharing talk of vmk and our lives will never be forgotten.

3) Pirates Game..yeah I know there was alot of bad behavior in those games but I met alot of my friends through that game and had some great battles.


One Virtual Thing I Will Be Happy to Not Deal With....queues for rooms during quests that clearly everyone is trying to get into and the subsequent crash. It was as if the people who wrote the quests didn't get the concept of everyone doing it at the same time.


Two Things to Improve VMK....

1) Lower priced items...I could never understand the prices of the best items...this was supposed to be a game for kids and yet they priced the items for players that were on all day. Many players could not afford the magic and that was a shame.

2) Better enforcement of the rules...the unfair room warnings and the complete lack of enforcement of players using inappropriate language (particularly in pirates)

Things I will miss:


Shrunken Ned's Shop- I always went there as the first room when I logged onto VMK, I don't know why.

My awesome hats! I must've had at least half of them.

Making and exploring rooms. I saw so many amazing and creative places.

Things That I Will Miss The Most
1~My Guest Room - The Dancing Flowers
After a year of playing VMK, I figured out that I was one of the worst room designers that ever lived. But, then, I met some of my friends; I got inspired. I realized all the things it takes to become a room designer. So, I went out and played some pirates to get credits. And then I put my creativity to the test, and wallah! The Dancing Flowers was born!
2~The Public Guest Rooms
Oh, how much I will miss the public rooms. The rooms, so much creativity. The music, a memory of the Disney Parks. Main Street, giving you the at home feeling. Tomorrowland making you feel like your in the future. And then Adventureland giving you the Jungle rythem!
3~My gold princess dress
When I was new, this was the first thing I ever wanted. I looked around, lots had it. And yet, since I was new, I didn't have much. But, when I got determined, I was finally able to get the top! Then, I was able to trade for teh bottoms. And last but not least, the shoes. Most people don't trade shoes without the rest of the outfit, so I was out of luck. And then, when I was hanging out in a guest room, I got a trade request. So, I accepted. And then, someone put up gold princess shoes and clicked the accept button! She said she didnt need them, and figured I could use them. I was so thankful.

Thing I Am Glad To See Go
1~Frontierland
Unfortunately, VMK had made this land useless. Nothing much would happen there, and it was basically boredom. I am glad to see this place go.

Things I Would Have Liked To Be Improved
1~Frontierland
As stated above, nothing happened there and they should have put this land to better use. The Golden Horseshoe Mercantile was cool, but they barely ever released anything there.
2~The Staff getting to talk to everyone
The staff of VMK are great, yes! Although, when I go around VMK, it is always staff talking to the same people every single time. They should get to know people more closely in the game. I have always wanted to get to know staff, but I just, unfortunately, have never gotten this chance.

Even though the amount of good things about VMK overpowered the amount of bad, it was still a lot to complain about. Now, we can't... Well, you could, but what would that do? =)


3. List two (2) things that you think could improve VMK.
I. The Lag was a little bit too much. You know how they have more than one of each room? They should have had multiple VMKs so that the people were more spread out.
II. Lower prices. With that, more people could afford more and it could circulate better. I didn't buy anything for the past 5 months because I couldn't keep up with the prices. (But now I don't really care xD)

I. My wickedly awesome Mad Hatter! There's a long story about the big hat! When I started VMK, in 2006, I saw this magical hat, I being a guest couldn't get it, but as I got more into the game, Halloween 2006 passed, Summer passed, Halloween 2007 (when I got the Indian Outfit) and in December 2007 I got the hat! My wonderful wonderful hat! For some Indian Headress and Vest, the hat was mine! Well, I got an offer I couldn't refused but I regreted it later, I got black mickey ears for my big hat. Well, me being the WORST trader in the universe, listened to my sister the Second Worst Trader in the universe, and traded the ears for three star bling magic. BUT!!! In March my luck came back and the Big HAt was mine! I <3 My Mad Hatter Forever!
II: The awesome time I had with Phinny! Well HOST_Phinny is my favorite host ever!!!
III: The time I almost got Banned by VMK_Red! Yes I will miss that expeirence because I was lucky enough to talk to her even in a bad situtaition!

I. This ones a shocker... me. My getting so competitive with everyone else.
3. Two Things To Improve VMK

Things I will miss.
-Friends, they've been along with me through the journey of the game. I love all of them even people I've only spoken to once. Memories last a life time, and they sure will last mine. :)
-Trading, this way of 'universal communication' was a way to have us all have fun bargaining and making great friends! Without trading the game would be different, and with the game's closing.. it will be a memory for the rest of my VMK thoughts.
-Building, I personally love building rooms with all the items I spot my eye on, or collect. It's fun to make random rooms, or try to get serious and go for the Best! Building guest rooms was my form of getting away from the real world, going to paradise and relaxing!



Things I won't miss.
-Rudeness, the community has it's times of being joyful and it's times of being down-right obnoxious. I don't 'hate' the people rude to other players, but I wish people didn't have to deal with it. Banning is not unreasonable if being rude leads to it..
-Scamming, I've been scammed only once but it hurts. Things you work for shouldn't be taken away by the actions of others.. Some, even as the days are counting down, are scamming their little hearts out.. it's unfair and rude!
-Judging, it's not brought to many peoples' attentions but.. Judging someone by what they have, what there name is, or what they're wearing.. Is wrong and considered to be illegal in some cases.



Things that could improve.
-Jungle Cruise Credits ;), playing the Jungle Cruise Safari game is time-consuming, of course. But I personally think it's funner than POTC, Fireworks.. etc. If they passed out credits like Fireworks, I'd play it alot more!
-Help button, sometimes there's not an immediate reaction from the Help button (and sometimes means alot of times!). It could happen to change what really happens if the Staff don't contact virtual players immediately.
-Host Queues, they've been getting alot better for the Host rooms (by what I think), but maybe they should open a few at the same time to open it up to everybody. Giving everyone an equal chance at playing Host games, or just even saying hi!

First of all my characters.(yes multiple) Each had thier own unique personality and how they interacted with other members of the community and friends.
Secondly, my rooms. The time and effort put into these works of art is something you can never forget or recreate. The rides through the wonders of VMK will always be remembered.
Last but not least, the people whom I've had to opportunity to meet. Some briefly and others with a long lasting friendship. Some I will have to say good bye too forever (thanks to VMK's policy) but others I was fortunate enough to reach them in other arenas and hope to continue a long lasting friendship.

What I won't miss!! The top number 1 I believe on every one's list. "BANS"

For the most part it was a good thing to happen in my life. I will shed a tear as we fade into the sunset and bid VMK farewell. :Unhappy:

Three things I will miss on VMK. That is easy. First I will miss the NPC's. Especially Yeti and Gus. I could talk to them as crazy as it sounds, I felt better once we had a good talk. Yeti could always make me smile when we danced.

I will miss all my Mickey Ears. Green and orange we won't get to wear long. My Dream Ears are really special to me and all the others will be sorely missed as well.

Last, I will miss my Tiki room. It was the room I started with on VMK. I sat relaxing in that room by myself and at times I had friends over too. Very nice memories. Loved the sounds of waves rushing on the shore.

One thing I won't miss at all is having to play Pirates or Haunted Mansion. I was so bad at those games. OMG, having to play them in a quest was totally frustrating.

What would I improve on VMK? I would have to say to open more Host rooms. I hardly ever got in one. The line would be so long, by the time I got to the end of the line, the blasted room would close. I wasted so much time trying to get in, I missed out on the good times with friends. That is what I would change.

The other thing I would change is to have more room for friends list. We never had room for all the friends we made.

What I'll Miss:

- The ability to express my lack of designing talent in a game that has a variety of options to express your creative side, in a way that isn't judged.
- The fact that this was a Disney game. This is the first multiplayer online game that doesn't involve slashing things and leveling up, and this is easily the best one of all. The magic that Disney brought into this game truly made it that much better.
- The friends I've met on VMK. Sometimes, talking with a "somewhat" total stranger is nice; they won't really judge what you say or how you act. VMK is/was a place where you can just let loose.

What I'm Glad To See Go:

- The fact I'll never have to try to get 6500 in Fireworks again in 3 weeks.
- Certain "individuals" on VMK that have made the game that much less enjoyable. Things like people who create drama all the time; just keep your personal lives to yourselves. Or to those who create virtual drama.. learn to let things go. There is no point in arguing with a stranger over the Internet. And of course people who can't spell to save their lives (with the exception of the VMK dictionary).. I'm glad to see you go. Open up a dictionary once in a while, will you?
- Speaking of which, the VMK dictionary. Sorry staff, but I highly doubt that by allowing the use of numbers, grades, etc. is going to create a bunch of stalker situations and whatnot. In that case, it's your duty to keep an eye on those things. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it would have made VMK a lot easier to enjoy.

What Could Be Improved:

- Instead of working on things like lag and disconnections, work on the queues. Make space for more than 15 people in a public room; and open up multiple guest rooms for HOST events. By keeping things moving, it allows more people to enjoy in the magic that is/was VMK.

3. Everything is tradeable, even now someone else would enjoy a few things that I have, but I can't give to them, phooey!

The Yeti- My personal favorite guy to be around. I'd sit there for ten minutes watching him dance :)

2. Scammers- For ruining the time on the kingdom. All we wanted to do was have fun, but losing an item is no fun :(

3. Friend list- I wish there wasnt a limit to all the friends you could have!

loading- The loading was way too slow on my computer, ever since they got that "update" in october!

3 Things I'm Going to Miss-

a. My avatar with my Mr. Stitchy :StitchBounce-1:(stitch hat). My sister gave him to me a few months after I joined and I've worn it every day in the Kingdom since. Also it was always good to see AngelElizabeth- so stylin LOL.
b. All the public rooms. Oh gosh I loved just walking around. Although I've been to Disney 7 times, when I started to miss it I could just walk around Main Street. I especially will miss these during Halloween-New Years. That was the most magical time of all. I love all the candy and snow and confetti that they put on main street. :wave2::balloon::mickey:
c. Having a game to play that I truly love. I'll really miss VMK. - cries -:Unhappy:

Lag, dc. sorry you've crashed signs, cute or boot, cafes, free rooms, boys ask girls rooms, (this may be kind of mean) new players who ask questions then five people answer (apparently they don't look at the screen) then ten seconds later they ask the same question then 5 people say they arealdy told the player then the players like huh? what? then the ask the question again and we answer and they don't read and it goes on & on & on.
**** Sorry I couldn't put just one.

The three things that I miss will be...
1. The Yeti! I love the Yeti so much, I always wanted to give him a hug ;)
2. My stitch hat... I finally got one, and then VMK closes, lol.
3. My VMK Biggest Talking Cactus room; it got me best guest... so many good times in that room!

The thing that I'll be glad to see go is...
When you put all the stuff you're trading in a quest engine, and then someone comes in and asks if they can play the quest. (That bugs me so much...)

Improvements:
1. Getting rid of bugs such as the friend's list bug in the morning!
2. Getting disconnected! I remember the time where no one got DC, and now some get DC every five minutes...

Things I will miss:
1.) All my friends :(
2.) The Haunted Mansion Game-I love that game! :)
3.) Basically everything that I have that took some effort to obtain.

1. I will miss my vmk friends mostly, my stuff, and my rooms that I worked hard on.

2. My enemies (especially one girl that was a scammer and kept saying she wasnt! all my friends had proof)

3. Release more items to make newer people happy. And make prices lower so people could actually afford them.

1. Greeting the Yeti every day and listening to his jokes.

2. My rooms, sometimes I'd model them like a dream house, it made it feel so real.

3. I honestly grew attached to being able to walk down Main Street everyday, while I still live in Arizona.



One thing that I'm glad to see go?

1. The attitude of unruly players who never seemed to follow the VMK Values.




Two Improvements:

1. Actually letting us EAT the churros and turkey legs! Virtual characters need good-tasting grub too! (Not just coins and water, stomache ache much?)

2. Investigating what REALLY happens, before innocent people get banned.

What i will miss:
1. Pirates with maybe the best vmk record of 296 wins and only 122 losses.

2. My theme park. Yeah i made my own theme park with the name Fun Land and it was like 20 rooms with rides and it was fun for a loong time.

3. MY vmk cards. There worth not much now i'll miss the fun with entering them :(

What i'm glad i will never deal with again:

What could improve:
1. Having new lands. I mean Disneyland,Disneyworld is awesome but it's only just one area. Really needed to add another land like epcot.

(2)Pins, normal pins, magic is kewler heh. I disliked pins because of the nothing-ness they had. Not much magic to a pin.

(3) I think VMK should improve on Their nice-ness (as in with characters and such), and as well the credit prices, they are way to high, I think you may just need to play pirates again and again and again to get what you want, especially magic @_@

2. I will NOT miss dumbo quests requiring ppl to play games to get unreachable scores lol....

- making quests that truly ARE a search for stuff and not an exercise in mudane trivia or a fruitless effort in getting friends to help them cheat their way through a game requiring impossible scores to complete.

- releasing more of a variety of stuff regularly that can be bought and not make it so tedious to try to win things riding the Courtyard rides in order to get a pin to pull a sword lol...

Three things I will miss the most:

1.) All of my clothing (shirts, hats, etc.)
2.)The magic i worked so hard to get
3.)My friends, who seemd to always havetime to try my quests or help me out on a game

1.) If they could have made placed where you can design and create your own unique magic, furniture, clothing, hats, etc.

All of VMK will be missed, mostly the Friends.

Things I will miss:

1. My gray mansion suit. By far my favorite full costume released and when I got one I was on cloud nine.

2. My Haunted Mansion Conservatory. When I first started VMK I didn't really get into it and came back several months later. That point is when I became addicted to it. I remember there was a ride-a-thon and that was the first time I saw the Haunted Mansion Conservatory. I was desperate to get one. It is and will forever be, my favorite VMK room.

3. My Maleficent hat. My first character was Maleficent_Rocks and I loved that they had a Maleficent room and throne. I remember around Halloween when that hat came out, my dear friend, motoxkidd (Bram) got one for me before I had made it over to the Emporium to see what was new. I was so excited for something else Maleficent related (Can't help it, I <3 her) and the fact that he bought one for me meant so much at that time.

Thing I am glad to see go:

1. I'm glad to see the rude players in Pirates expire. While I'm not the greatest player, I'm not the worst, but it was so hard to find a game with at least 3 others that were decent and didn't feel the need to bash everyone else. When you had to play for a quest and get a high score I often didn't complete the quest because it wasn't worth getting upset over a game just to obtain another VMK item.

Things I would improve:

1. I would have corrected the spelling errors and obvious mistakes long before they were corrected. Case in point, the obvious and painful error VMK made when they spelled the Maleficent pin as Malificent. Errors like that, in my opinion, are not easily forgivable. You work for the company that was made on the foundation of these characters. Least you can do is spell their names right!

2. I would have been honest with the players about WHY VMK was closing and given them more notice. Months of the newsletter talking about things are strong and going great and then boom! Not cool and that is why where we are today, all upset about it closing!

The three things I will definitely miss...

1) The whole Kingdom. It was my Kingdom away from the Kingdom, my home away from "home." I especially love the holiday decor. :)
2) My favorite outfit -- Capt. Hook hat, gold princess outfit, cowboy boots. Don't know why it was my favorite, maybe I'm a pirate at heart, lol.
3) The Inner Space eyeball. It's just so funny and yet so creepy all at the same time.

The one thing I won't miss...

How Fireworks would crash for me...right at the very end...and I had the highest score, lol. I know that's not a "physical" thing, but I mean, really?

The two improvements they should make or should have made...

1) I agree -- fix the server issues.
2) The quests in general were not my favorite thing. I enjoyed player quests more than official VMK quests.

But despite its flaws...vive le VMK! :)

Even though server lag, annoying people and stuff are nice to be rid of...
I don't want to be rid of it.... annoying ppl are sometimes fun, and server lag reminds me of the past o.o i was kinda unhappy when they took dc monster away.

The game of pirates - the game I loved, that made me feel better when I was sick ....
All the friends - the friends that were mainly 1 of the reasons about what made VMK so special...

2 things that would improve VMK....
The staff needed to watch the players more closely, and about scamming...they needed to watch that very carefully!!
The staff should've released things for longer limits..I didn't get to buy as many holiday gifts as I wanted, they were out for short times!!
