The film adaption of the OFFICIAL sequel to Peter Pan is an production and set for release in 2009.

http://www.vmkforums.com/gallery/data/1175/Peter_Pan_In_Scarlet.jpg

Peter Pan in Scarlet is being produced by Headline Pictures, with co-operation with the UK Film Council, and BBC Films.

It's no surprise that Di$ney didn't get the rights to produce this official sequel. The rights to Peter Pan are owned by GOSH (The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children), and Di$ney doesn't want to give them any money. That's why I LOVE Di$ney sooo! much, stealing from a Children's Hospital is just so EVIL! :)

By the way, if you find the Official Website for Peter Pan in Scarlet, don't go there. One of my Evil Minions hijacked the site, and put a really nasty trojan virus there that will infect your 'puter. I wish they would have told me about it before I went there! ooo!

That's disneys way of calling it 3D.

And did you not just read what I posted? Wall•E is the next PIXAR that is coming out. King of the Elves is that farthest movie that we know that is coming out at the end of 2012. And PIXAR may never end. Their going to continue to make films for years to come.

Interesting. Alot of new movies instead of just sequals. Dissappointed with spinnoffs but maybe one of these movies will bring Disney out of their slump when it comes to original movies. I'll give Disney Cars but it wasn't too amazing. Toy Story3 might be interesting and I plan to see Wall-E

Don't forget... NARNIA!

Coming out: May 2010

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Disney and Walden continue to follow the published order of C.S. Lewis's best-selling fantasy novels. This third book, first published in 1952, comes fifth chronologically and sees the two youngest Pevensie children, Lucy (Georgie Henley) and Edmund (Skandar Keynes) joining nerdy cousin Eustace Scrubb for a holiday. The three of them are pulled into Narnia through a painting, ending up on the ship Dawn Treader with Lucy and Edmund's royal pal, Caspian (Ben Barnes). The four of them embark on a series of adventures in travelling to a number of Narnian islands.

Michael Apted (Gorillas in the Mist, The World is Not Enough, and television's renowned "Up" documentaries) will direct, taking over from Andrew Adamson, who will stay on as a producer. It is unclear if William Moseley and Anna Popplewell will be re-enlisted to portray the elder Pevensie children, who do not appear in the Voyage book. The film was scheduled to open in May of 2009, but was pushed back an entire year, with the new release date being May 7, 2010. Production will start summer of 2008 in Australia and New Zealand.
