To the rest of you out there who are tired of all the arguing, the chaos,
people quitting, and just want to make the most of the numbered days
we have left with each other...
here is a "Thank You Thread" where you
may write up a thank you to your friends, the staff, disney or anyone
that made this trip magical to you.

**remember: we are not looking for sarcastic "thanks a heaping lot yavn"
comments... we're trying to look at the brighter side in things here :] **

Anyway, let's get started :)

Dear Virtual Magic Kingdom (lol),

Thank you for providing a place where people
of different ages, gender, nationality, and cultures
from all over the globe can gather
and share the magic of Disney.

Thank you for helping me appreciate Disney
once again and proving that
there's a place in your world for
everyone.

Thank you for breaking the barriers between
age groups and nationalities and
allowing many to come together in a place
where none of those factors can be judged.

Most of all, thank you for making dreams
come true and bringing Disneyland to the thousands
of players who live far far away.

Dear VMK Staff

Thank you for working endlessly to put
this all together for us... I know that you all
mean well and that you don't want this to
end just as much as we don't.

Thank you for never giving up on us
after all the complaining and whining and
name calling ( :D ) we've done.

We will miss seeing those famous red
ears (and for yavn, the beard)... thank you
so so much
for everything (:


Dear fellow vmkforumers

You guys are are one of the most amazing
and well behaved bunch (for the most part haha)
i've ever met in the world wide
web (i mean where online can you find a community
who follows the rules this well? :] )

Just being a part of a place where people will dedicate
their entire day to help you beat that one impossible
quest is so incredible, i honestly have no words for it.

Mark my words,
you guys will never be forgotten :)

To The Pirates Game
(you knew this was coming)

Thank you for providing a place for me and many
many others to take out their frustration on.

Thank you for the laughter and tears... the good
times and the bad... *sniff* thank you for creating a place
where friends and foes can coexist and shoot cannons
at each other.

Last but not the least:
thanks for handing us credits by the masses
for doing nothing but have fun.

I will surely miss that familiar deep-voiced-pirate-accented
narrator, the lag, all the childish arguing and
the occasional-random-act of kindness.
Most of all, i'll miss the ever so diversed
players- both good and naughty... because face it,
these are the things that makes pirates, pirates.




If, in a dramatic twist of events, Vmk changes their mind,
I for one will never go one day of play
without being thankful for it all.

...I have so much to thank for that it isn't even funny, but I'll start by thanking my friends.

Dear VMKF members and my friends on VMK,
Without you guys, I would have probably quit a LOOONG time ago. I used to thing VMK was boring, but the truth was that I just didn't have anything to do, or know anyone I could talk to. And then I found out about you guys. You were the reason I kept playing VMK, even through the hard times. You guys made it all worth it. And now that VMK is closing, it's depressing (for me) to know that we won't have any other way of communicating and that I may or may not ever see you again. So I would like to thank every single one of you, people that I might have not known or talked to, for giving me such a wonderful experience.



Dear VMK staff members,
I don't remember having so much fun during those host games, but it's because of you that I didn't give up, even if I DID lose. You guys made it fun and safe for everyone; especially Hula and Lily. It's really sad that one day I'd have to say good bye to you guys. So I want to thank you guys for just being there when other VMK members wanted help.

Thank you VMK Staff Members for keeping us safe, and making very fun and exciting Host Rooms. I'm very thankful that VMK Staff were watching us to make sure we were safe inside the game. Thank you!

To All VMK Members,

This has been a fun experience in VMK, but sadly, it's coming to an end. We all had a great time, although there were some spots along the way where things got a little crazy, but we are all "friends". We helped each other, and made new friends in VMK. I hope you all had a great time in VMK, I know I had a good time. Good memories!
