Well, I have never seen the "Split Thread" button used on here. And the extremely long threads get very annoying. Any chance the Split Thread button can be used?

If you don't mind just posting some examples and we will get to work on it, thanks. :)

1) A thread has evolved into two different topics, each of which deserve their own thread.

2) A portion of a thread is off-topic and/or against the rules, in which case the original topic can be *rescued* by trimming off the fat.

I don't think threads should be split just because they are large. Most of the huge threads on the forum are the result of people making redundant threads on the same topic, and forum moderators merging those threads into the same topic. Splitting that topic into smaller threads on the same topic just adds to clutter in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback though!
