Goofy, for some people its mor than that to them. Their are some shy kids who have a hard time making friends, but find it easier on vmk. You never know so please don't make assumptions.

Many are feeling the same way. It is more than just a game btw goofyono. It is friendships too and a community. Many feel like they are moving away and leaving their friends behind. Try and be a little more compassionate to others pls. Don't worry Princess, you are not alone in how you are feeling. Many are feeling the same way and also signed petitions and sent letters by email to disney. They have contact info on this site if you need to let them know what vmk means to you and why they should keep it open. Don't worry ok. There is still 40 days.

I'm sorry, many people are sad about VMK closing. I truely wish VMK could stay open because of the friends I will be losing and all the unhappy people there right now, but I believe there is not much we can do right now.

Email some of the big people in VMK. Sign some petitions. Raise awareness of our situation. Anything.

Doing something is better than doing nothing. And, if you're worried about wasting time contacting these people when you could be playing your last moments on VMK... Do it after the game closes for the night, or before it opens.

To sit and watch is the same as surrender.

I'm sorry, I relize vmk is some peoples lives, but they are NOT killing people, sure their closing vmk and every 1 hates them for that.. but they aren't killing people, maybe virtually, not in real life tho.. if it was real life.. trust me.. disney would b no more , I am not fighting for disney, nor am I fighting for vmk, I am just pointing out what is happening and what the possible outcomes are

Exactly like me. @_@ I would be enjoying my last weeks on vmk but I'm still banned AND I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! I HAVE TO GET ON VMK IT'S SO HARD TO BE AN ADDICT AND BE BANNNEEDDDD AND KNOW THAT IT'S CLOSIING

Yes, it is heartbreaking. VMK is more than just a "game", it is an online community that created a way for us to experience the magic of Disney while sitting at home. The friendships we made and the things we built within this community became a real part of who we are, and it is hard to accept the fact that that part of our life is going away.

I understand from a business perspective why Disney is doing this, but they really should've handled it much differently. We were told in so many different ways that "VMK wasn't going anywhere soon" so we allowed ourselves to get emotionally attached to it. Had there been a disclaimer somewhere on the site stating that this game was only intended to last a short time we would've been more prepared and accepting of this.

this is just a game- this is NOT real. Its an awesome game but we gotta live without it for a long time.

Not real? All the hard work we've put into building our rooms, solving quests, trading for rare items, and winning mini-games, that wasn't real? All the friendships we've forged in the game, that wasn't real? All the fun we've had, that wasn't real? The overall magic of VMK, and that warm fuzzy feeling it gives it's players, that wasn't real?

If none of that was all real, then I'd rather stay in my little fantasy world.

The things in the game may not be real, but the people on it are real.
