It is with great sadness that we gather here today for the burial of Disney Magic. Disney Magic will be missed by tens of thousands of her dearest friends and family members.
Disney Magic was born in 1955 during a decade of family values, togetherness, and moral integrity. She was a great friend to many and an inspiration for all to go a little higher, reach a little further, to work to achieve your dreams. We are not sure what happened to turn Disney Magic into just another corporate green machine. No one could ever imagine such a beautiful thing could suddenly, and without any reasonable explanation, turn into a nameless, faceless, gray slab of nothingness. Could it be that the 60s were the start of her decline? Maybe the 70s or 80s? A slight change could be seen in the 90s but friends shrugged it off as Disney Magic just turned 40 and is "over the hill" now, and "getting old" lol. What no one saw was the fact that Disney Magic had developed a desease and a fatal one at that. She lost the very reason she was living for; to create hopes and dreams for all the world's children and instead only valued the value of money.
Disney Magic will be missed. Let's all hope and pray that one day Disney Magic can be reborn but that will take new minds and new attitudes. Add to that a touch of old integrity and moral values and one day Disney Magic can live again. I hope in my heart to see you again one day Disney Magic but until that day comes, may you rest in peace. Goodbye.
