Does this bother anyone else? That they are closing on a Wednesday? A day where people are working and have school. I don't know about you but my last day on VMK would much rather be spent playing as much as I can. Any comments?

I asked that same question, proabably because thye dont want so much players on causing lag. If it was on a friday, it'd be the same day vmk entered the internet, may 23.

Yeah, they are making me stay up to 1:00 AM on a school night, a Final testing school night. But, it is worth it, do go on for the last time ever =).

Those that make the major decisions at VMK have never run this game in a fair manner! They have always promoted envy and exclusivity. It's too late to think they will be fair now. They are consistant aren't they? :Wink:

I'm gonna ask my parents if I can miss school that Wednesday. Cause I only have half days on Wednesday so it's not like I'm gonna miss anything in a 3 hour school day.

Actually, VMK closes on a Thursday for people in the east and central time zones ;)

actualy VMK's domain name was purchased on "23-Sep-1997" so says the WHOIS on the domain, and as for me i started April 6th during beta...

And if you notice on the whois the expiration is September, 2008. They purchased the 10 year domain name plan.

Move it to a Saturday ;) Then I can be on it the whole day. I have school on Wednesday for a full day and on the Friday I hvae a full school day and a Dinner Dance to celebrate our graduation the next week.

But it is cruel to close on a Wednesday(a school day for the people the game was geared towards) and before summer break really started for most.

If anyone notices, The closing date is either right on or close enough to the date vmk first became public/opened. I dont think they just randomly chose a date.
