I have not posted much since the big blackheart quest.
I am very glad that VMKF will stay open, as basically I think it's better than VMK. I hope there will be some more Disney - Parks related forums, and maybe some new stuff.

I would personally like to thank VMK Forums staff for being here. I joined here August 05, and have logged on every day. VMK Forums is where my heart is, and I would hate to let all my friends walk away from long friendships, just for the closure of a game.

Hopefully you and Nick will decide to keep it open, because VMKF is a place where I can find scores of people that I've met on VMK. So there's no game to talk about? Plenty of people go to the parks, it could be a Disney general forum!

I hope VMKForums will stay open. But after VMK closes on May 21st, I don't think many will care to log onto VMKForums if there is no VMK.com any longer.

I would, Aggie. I think I can say for a few other people they would too, just to keep up with their friends that they've had over the past three years of VMK.

I`ve been playing VMK from the start and although I am sad that it`s closing, I am still happy to hear I can still talk to my friends on VMKF.

Thanks to all the Admins for keeping VMKF open. We will always try to support even if we cant. Over the years i wanted to donate but my parents wont let me. Time for VMK to go and VMKF to stay open. VMKF: VMKfailed.

I'm glad the game is closing. Now kids can get some fresh air on their spare time, instead of sitting in front of the computer.

Well, I guess the end has finally come. I have enjoyed VMK and and VMKF and plan to still be active on VMKF and the wiki. I will probably have to turn to Club Penguin so I can at least be of some use for the wiki. I guess I can say I lived VMK. Maybe in an online game in the future similar to VMK, we can talk to all of our friends of this magnificent kingdom where players and magic combined to make the most enjoyable experience. I guess I can say we lived the VMK experience.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Good thing this is staying open, I'll be able to keep in touch with some of my VMK buddies. The others I will sadly probably never see again :(

Member since day 1 and I don't think another online game will be able to take it's place. I am trying pirates out, but it's just not the same. Maybe VMK2 will be created soon and we will be saved. Anyway it was great meeting everyone out there...

I have to say I am glad to see that the forum is staying open but I am very sad to see VMK go I have only been on for the last two years. And I know I have not done as much on the site as other I wish I could believe some of the efforts being done to save the site will actually work but some how I just don't see Disney budging from this decision.
But I guess we will see what happens on the 21st.

Great News! We can share our pics here of good Ol' VMK Times! :)

For the past 2 and a half yrs. I have been consumed with VMK. My spouse

always walked around saying I lost my wife to a Disney game, but let me tell

you I have never had so much fun in my adult life. Playing the games,

collecting the furniture and pins and trading. OH, and the money I spent at

the Disneyland Park was something else. I will miss all of you even the kids

who clled me bad names because I understand you are just children, letting

off steam. I just wish I could keep all my stuff I collected and my over 60

rooms I had and especially my almost 300,000 credits I had 500,000 at one

time then The new stuff came out and I bought and bought. I was like a

child playing house again and what a thrill it was. Although I must say I

like the old fireworks better then the new one I could never get a good

score one the new one at all and I believe they should of paid more for

the jungle cruise. I will miss all of you and I Thank You all for creating such

a wonderful game for all of us to play as long as you did and I hope you come

up with another one real soon that we can enjoy and play even longer in the

future.

Was this needed? No E-mail, all those years of collecting... GONE? I always liked VMK because you could do about anything! Why did they close? Why all that work for nothing? A new VMK with all our old stuff? Too much bad stuff going on (aka people and problems)? Or was it that they just didnt want this game? Whatever the reason i was stunned! I looked at the website late and my jaw dropped. Why would they do this? Did they ever say that this was going to be a temporary game? I never read it. Sooooo many years of making a school, gone! I will hope and pray that the day will come for a VMK2. We'll just have to wait until next celebration to know i guess... Anyway ty mods for letting VMKF stay up. I'll always remember the game now.:wave2:
