Speaking of things lasting forever, recently several of you have been asking about how much longer VMK will last. Well today I have some news about our future.

As many of you know, Virtual Magic Kingdom was created and launched back in 2005 as part of the Disneyland 50th Anniversary Celebration. VMK exceeded expectations in terms of performance, and as a result we extended the promotion (that is, VMK, the game) well beyond the 50th Celebration.

Eventually though, all promotions must come to an end, so I'm announcing today that on May 21, 2008, VMK will open our virtual gates for the last time. You read that right: VMK was never intended to last forever we'll close the game for good at the end of day on May 21st, 2008.

This is not an April Fool's joke.

Now we understand this news may be upsetting to you but let me explain. Again, VMK was launched as part of Disneyland's 50th Celebration in 2005 and the game has lived well beyond the originally intended time it was planned to run.

Over time you've seen our in-Park presence and other parts of VMK go away. You may remember our V.I.P Tours at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, or our in-Park Quest. We didn't stop doing those things because we don't love the game or our Guests, but because the time to run those promotions ended.

At Disney we're still committed to building communities and online virtual worlds and we're looking forward to providing you the opportunity to enjoy other exciting new experiences.

Don't look at VMK ending as a bad thing think of it as a new beginning, a chance to explore something fresh and new! Think of it like school: You don't want to leave your old friends, but still, the time has come to graduate and move onto another great adventure.

In the time since we've launched VMK, we've seen many players come and go, and we're hoping you will graduate from VMK too in particular, to games like Pirates of the Caribbean Online (http://www.piratesonline.com/), Disney's ToonTown Online (http://www.toontown.com/), Club Penguin (http://www.clubpenguin.com/) and the upcoming Fairies and Cars online virtual worlds. We think you'll find you enjoy those just as much as VMK – if not more.

In the meantime, VMK will run like it always has, with great events and new items every week until we close we might even fit in one or two more surprises along the way (of the virtual item kind).
So what's going to happen to the VMK Staff when VMK closes? Well, we're all moving onto other projects here at Disney and positively looking ahead to the future. Me and a few other team members have already moved to other projects (but are still making sure VMK is running smoothly until it closes).

I know that this is sad news for you, but we're all thankful we've had the opportunity to enjoy the game for as long as we did. Just know there are even cooler things on the horizon ahead, for you as players and for us as game creators. So as my good friend Captain Jack Sparrow would say... "Bring me that horizon!"

Why is this happening? Why are you closing Virtual Magic Kingdom?
As Yavn mentioned in the Newsletter, VMK was created and launched as part of a promotion to celebrate Disneyland's 50th Anniversary.
The game/promotion has ran well beyond the original time it was intended to.

When is the last time I can play? The game will close at 10:00PM PST, Wednesday, May 21st, 2008.

Will I still be able to buy cards and pins in the Parks?
Yes, you can still buy VMK Cards and Pins at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Parks while supplies last but after May 21st, 2008 the codes will no longer work in the game.

What will happen to the game and the website?
The website will remain up for a few weeks to let people know what has happened, but you will not be able to log into the game after May 21th, 2008.

What will happen to all my virtual stuff in VMK?
Since the virtual items live only in VMK, you won't be able to access your VMK items or take them with you to another Disney Online Virtual World.

VMK will cease to operate and close its virtual gates on May 21st, 2008 at 10PM PST!

This has been coming since they bought Club Penguin. It is not practical to have both games, but still a shame.

Lessons from Ned ... instead of spending time whining why not wait to see what comes out. Quest is over for 4 1/2 days and already the Umbrella is for sale. If all anybody does is complain then we may see a repeat of the month when we had no host games ( or worse yet ..close VMK ). So why don't we all take a deep breath and enjoy the things we get. As I always say... Nothing in VMK is rare...just not available right now. Enjoy the weekend and get out there and earn credits for new stuff. :)

Regardless of previous thoughts, This was well in the works before the difficult quest was launched. Don't believe for a minute it was due to the complaints of the quest, but you could see it when pay-to-play (pirates, toontown, etc) where being promoted...Even sooner when items when quests where pulled from parks, and any other incentives they may have had (i.e. iPods)...

Today is the worst day of my life.

Think about the last month,week,day they are probally going to release staff clothing and it will be so much fun. We can basically do anything on vmk now, what do we have to lose? May 21 VMK is closing. This because VMK was only supposed to go through the 50th Celebration in Parks. It lasted way longer though. The official closing is May 21. >_< If you don't believe me, check the last part of Yavn Speaks.

My family is heartbroken especially my youngest.
I played more than I ever have!

You know.. I've been playing since VMK began. I am one of the few "Here From Day 1" players still on VMK. I have built several in-game friendships with several in-game memories. Still, aside from those friendships and the memories thereof, along with other memories I have such as getting Best Guest Room and Game Room and getting my Inferno from the since retired tester alyuel, VMK has simply gone downhill slowly. The in-park stuff disappeared, the problems with the Ride Creating Events, the major lag surrounding the entrance of new lands, and most recently, the massive quest with all of the massive problems surrounding it. I'm surprised VMK has held itself afloat these past few months. I love VMK, I'll always cherish the memories it's instilled in me these few years, but I also am able to let it go. Goodbye VMK.

I need to say it, but I doubt this is real, any corporate business owner knows that this will trash their reputation.

This is by far, the dumbest move Disney has EVER pulled.

But, all in all, we need to move on, I see this as a chance for the rest of you to.

I can imagine the day when VMK closes. It will just be hanging out with friends for the last time. Visiting VMK for the last time. I feel like VMK is on those " You have 24 hours to live" type thing, and we must spend the last day with VMK and have some real fun. It is such a sad thing to accept.

oh no! I just joined vmk forums, after a few months of not playing vmk I just came back. This is just... terrible. Why can't we pay for it? I can live with it, but I know there are alot of people who are way more into vmk than I am. I mean, it's some people's entire lives! I am so mad! Grrr!

P.S. I don't plan to leave the forums, unless this gets closed too, I just thought I would add my thoughts to this thread.

This is quite possibly the worst. I've been around since Day 1. But you know what? I have collected a lot of rare stuff. I think I'm going to open a room this weekend and give most of it away so the players who didn't have a chance to get it, could have it for at least a few weeks. Nothing is really rare anymore or all of it is, depending on how you look at it. So I'm going to give other players a chance to have something they haven't had before. I think I'll do it on Saturday when I have time.

What?! How can this happen?! VMK is like my second home when i feel troubled in my real one. I spent hard work earning my rare items and now i feel like sobbing. Why so early? It almost breaks my hard to see one of my most favored games be thrown into the dumpster such as other old games. I feel like sobbing until i die. This is so unfair to all the children who play vmk for enjoyment and relaxation. This is so improbable. Is this Yavn's decision or is this a requirement? :( VMK is where i met alot of friends. :( Goodbye the magical world :(

I do believe this is in direct relations to the blackheart quest. The most upset is my children. They dont like toontown or pirates. They are in tears this was a fun game the whole family played together.

Oh well, I was in the host room and I asked if they would have a job and they said they didnt know.

They said to write contact us to let them know how we feel.

I would also be willing to pay for my family to play, they love this little Disney World!

I'm still in shock, it was so sudden. VMK went from the high life before 3/29, to rock bottom a week and a half later. I'm not even going to log back in before then, I'll let my rooms gather dust before they're deleted: ingerbread House AlexKZ, & Escape the Jungle.

Aww, I remember when VMK spoke about you and your fight with cancer, they made a big deal about it too. VMK did good for some people, and you were one of those people slinky.

Well I can finally say I told you all so. It's a shame and I'll miss it but I did see this day coming a LONG time ago. I guess I'll be logging on and giving stuff away soon. Honestly, I can't say I'm surpised. With the way things have been going lately, all it could lead to was the destruction of VMK. And while, yes, I am sad, I'm also extremely happy. Think about it. No more misery, no more complaints, and no more whining about what Yavn and the staff didn't get "right". In my opinion, VMK closing is probably for the best, now everyone can finally get back to that little thing called our LIVES.

Most of us are addicted, now we cant get off our butts [can i say butts? o_o] and go outside, get active and enjoy our lives!

I am sad [and still in shock 0_o] to see vmk closing.. forever pretty much :I.
Not because I'm addicted.. but because the people Ive met online.. truly changed my life.

Vmk has shown me that we are all people, no matter how annoying, rude, sweet, mean, nice, or self-centered we are. Vmk has shown me that we all have a chance to make it to the top [like real life] we all start out as guests and after a while, we reach the tops..
Vmk also has shown me that we can't judge people by what they look like.
And to be honest.. i did judge people. Now only thing i see in people is good or bad personalities, even for school too.

There are a number of things vmk has shown me, but most importantly what ill miss.. are the people that were my friends.

These people are the reason why i joined, left, came back, and still play vmk right now, after almost 3 years. If i knew them, no matter what age, what they look like, or how they act.. i would be their friend and maybe a best friend.

I want to thank all the Staff members here and in vmk, [other vmk sites too -.-] for making vmk so magical after almost 2.5 years. Vmk has had it's ups and downs, and complaining players, scammers, traders, potc players, award winners, community leaders, and all the cute little guests on main street, who have joined together to make vmk what it is now.

Truly will miss coming on to see some virtual smiles, some hugs, and fights. I will miss building rooms, and talking to people.

But we all must understand, there really is good out of vmk closing. Now all of us, can spend more time with our families, our loved ones, study in school [stay in school -.-], make the right choices, and when were old and in our rocking chairs, we can remember the moments in our life that were to die for, and for some people vmk would pop up in their heads. i know it will pop up in mine...

Hmm... I doubt it, but.. maybe if we write in to VMK staff they'll release the client/server apps... or better yet, the source code. If they don't see any reason to continue to run the game, I'm sure many others do. This is highly unlikely, but... who knows? If they get enough requests, things such as these can become a reality...

It is no wonder that they had such a big quest at the end of last month. And ever since then, VMK hasn't been the same. It also seems like they haven't been completely honest with everyone; it's a shame, but that's how some things work in this world. I feel the saddest for people who have spent hours on VMK, making friends and now they may have no way to keep in contact with them.

These people are the reason why i joined, left, came back, and still play vmk right now, after almost 3 years. If i knew them, no matter what age, what they look like, or how they act.. i would be their friend and maybe a best friend.

I want to thank all the Staff members here and in vmk, [other vmk sites too -.-] for making vmk so magical after almost 2.5 years. Vmk has had it's ups and downs, and complaining players, scammers, traders, potc players, award winners, community leaders, and all the cute little guests on main street, who have joined together to make vmk what it is now.

Truly will miss coming on to see some virtual smiles, some hugs, and fights. I will miss building rooms, and talking to people.

But we all must understand, there really is good out of vmk closing. Now all of us, can spend more time with our families, our loved ones, study in school [stay in school -.-], make the right choices, and when were old and in our rocking chairs, we can remember the moments in our life that were to die for, and for some people vmk would pop up in their heads. i know it will pop up in mine...

Well people lets think of it this way:

Most of us are addicted, now we cant get off our butts [can i say butts? o_o] and go outside, get active and enjoy our lives!

I am sad [and still in shock 0_o] to see vmk closing.. forever pretty much :I.
Not because I'm addicted.. but because the people Ive met online.. truly changed my life.

Vmk has shown me that we are all people, no matter how annoying, rude, sweet, mean, nice, or self-centered we are. Vmk has shown me that we all have a chance to make it to the top [like real life] we all start out as guests and after a while, we reach the tops..
Vmk also has shown me that we can't judge people by what they look like.

WOW, I saw people talking about this and I had to check into for myself! Speechless is what I am at this very moment! So very sad!! I hope that VMKF will stay up so we can at least chat with the friends we have made. VMK was an awsome place to have fun. I have made many memories! It was fun while it lasted!

Throughout my entire VMK experience i knew that someday vmk will close, why next month? why not in like a year or so?

During my 2 and a half years of playing i have always set goals and made new friends. I have met some of the nicest people in my life on this small little virtual game. I have reached many of my vmk goals and felt happy about it, by why should it all go down the drain. VMK is the only place where players have a good time and can share there laughter with everybody. Toontown, POTCO, and Club Penguin can't do that. Although vmk has had some bad times in it's past it is still a fun place to be.
But seriously why after the Blackheart quest? That quest caused Chaos and after reading some posts i started to cry for what it did. Why end it when almost all the magic is gone?

My plan was to take a little break from vmk bc i play it so much, now that vmk is closing im going insane.

Im going to send a message to Nick and see what will happen witht hese forums.

Disney, like most major companies, is motivated by one thing: money. My family just spent $1700 renewing our WDW annual passes and we spend a small fortune each day we are in the parks (character meals, pins). While not all of the vmk community is fortunate to visit the parks regularly, many of us do. I personally will consider spending some of that money with their competitors in the near future. I do not believe that a company whose stated purpose is to create dreams and memories (thereby making a lot of money), would allow something that would disappoint so many. If you are one of the many who believe vmk should go on, my recommendation is to contact Disney directly. Contacting vmk will likely have no impact.

Regardless, it has been a blast; thanks to all the friends I have made along the way! Take care- StitchMayhem

I hate that you are closing down VMK. It is a great game. It was always a good money maker even though it was not pay to play. If you need to make it pay to play then do that. People would go to Disne, buy the ceral, etc. for VMK. It has been 3 years. Thats 3 years of memories. It's like a part of peoples lives. I mean if you have a friend for 3 years you just don't get rid of them. I mean if you go like at VMK Fan Site and see how many people are upset maybe you would rethink this. I know now that Disney has been moved to the bottom of many people's favorite list and many will be looking for another company to support or even become more loyal too. VMK was award winning material. It showed parents Disney knew how to be safe online and teach kids online safety. If you can't keep something that has become like a best friend to some people then why should we keep Disney as our favorite company?

I am permanently disabled and playing this game allows me to keep my mind off the pain! I have made friends here and worked hard going to the park to get stuff which was not easy for me to do. I love playing this game bc it makes me feel like I am at Disneyland when I am not able to get there. I don't like toon town or potc its not like VMK at all! I used to play neo pets and sims and wanted a virtual game that I could play that was Disney and yeah we got VMK. I enjoy playing this and can feel the magic and like I am there in the park when I am not able to get there being disabled its not easy to. Please don't take this away from me, its the only entertainment I have! I will even pay to play this game if I have to, I love this vmk world so much better and I don't think Walt Disney would be to happy that if you have so many unhappy people to take this away. I think he would say this is a good place and nice environment for kids so keep it! You want to be all about money fine, I am sure if you make this a paid game like toon town you will have more people playing this than any other game and make money and I don't think its fair to have had us spend money at the park and then take this away from us. Please don't do this !

Closing all over the almighty dollar and mismanagement... what a sickening, gut-wrenching WASTE!!!!! Both problems could be solved easily... VMK is getting revenue - there are enough people buying (well, not anymore) Pirate Pins that even if 1% of total sales went to VMK upkeep, they would have enough. Mismanagement, well, Disney just needs to stop leasing their name and trademark to [expletive here] online-gaming corporations who don't give a [expletive here] about the players or the game!! If this game were actually managed and run by Disney employees who kept to the Disney code, VMK would be a much better place.

My personal opinion: the "big quest" was too much of a disaster and the fall-out from that is causing Disney to pull the plug. I'll bet that Disney really has no idea how much we all like the game, and is just willing to let it die...

This is indeed a dark, dark day - I'm madder about this than about the quest.... This isn't only about the game - this is about the friends!!! I know that I have some very good friends that I look forward to spending time with, and I will sorely miss them all! :( And I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not going to spend more money on Disney games, just to wait for this eventual outcome.

Wow. Wasn't expecting this tonight. Here I was thinking that my master's degree will be done in two weeks and I'll have more stress free time to spend on VMK. Guess not.

Seems like with all the advertising for Toon and Pirates Online that the $$ is the most important thing to them.

my initial thoughts on this matter:
I knew it would end eventually. Since it had continued past the first year and it was still growing, I figured Disney realized that it WAS a money maker for them. How much money did I spend at Disney because of VMK? Let's say it was the push I needed to do many things I wouldn't have otherwise. Let's see. Annual Passes for the family for two years more than I would have otherwise (guess what, I probably won't renew again next year). Extra trips to the park to get those cards (spent $ buying more trinkets and food). The extra push that convinced me I needed DVD copies of those Disney Movies I already owned on VHS....had to have Herbie stuff and then Movie Reward things...I was ready to treat myself to a vacation to Disneyland and stay at the hotels.

I know I'm not the only one. How many kids convinced their parents to visit the parks? Will VMK closing take away money from Disney? Nope I'm sure my money is but a drop in the very large bucket. But, I can tell you VMK did paid for itself.

Next thought: kids. My daughter was not as regular of a player as I was but she did enjoy it. Her heart will be broken tomorrow when I tell her. Those poor kids who were regular players! To be honest, I would have rather not had VMK at all than to see it being pulled after just about three years for the kids sake. Why did they bother? Yes it probably got bigger than they were expecting which was requiring more money...but they didn't have to keep feeding us...

Life moves on and so will I. I'll miss stopping in and seeing the friends I have made in the game. And, I do thank VMK for the fun I have had for these few years. But, I am a grown-up and I understand things like this. Those that the game was designed for don't. They've made an investment of their time and worked to trade for things. They've gotten to love the mini-games. (Here's a thought....can those mini-games be added to the Disney site somewhere? Just take out the talk part? That would ease the pain a bit! :) )

The best thing I can see from a teacher's view with VMK closing? No more dictionary dancing! I've caught myself typing in these forums (and a few other places) dancing around! Of course, there will always be texting helping the decay of spelling skills....

Yes folks, you must remember this was like Yavn's baby. No one wants to see their baby pass away. He did an awful lot of work to bring VMK to life. I am very sure this was not his doing.

Disney is a big enterprize. VMK was simply a blip in Disney's radar. While Walt would have believed that every little thing that was a part of Disney mattered, it simply is not true anymore. Disney is a money maker pure and simple. Not making obvious $ = not worth having in their eyes. We are not the only ones who miss Walt.

Walt's dream wasn't to let kids have fun for a while and then just yank it out from under them, I wish Disney would go back to the way it was a long time ago

I wrote a letter to disney telling them how VMK is the closest thing I have to being in a Disney Park and it gives me the love that Walt meant for all the world to know.

Don't complain when you send in these letters though, just tell them how much VMK means to you.
Sending it to VMK will have no affect on the situation, its not VMK's choice, its Disney's, so send them to the Disney Internet Newsroom Group that other people have posted on here.

OMG I am so, so upset! This game adds a lot of the little joy in my life. I've invested so much time and effort and had so much fun collecting things. This is horrible!

I am torn apart. This is NOT something I expected and I feel like I'm going to throw up.

First of all, about VMK has created the world that Walt Disney himself has dreamed of into a new technological advancement. VMK has been made a world where kids can escape family issues or social issues to interact with those who share similar qualities. I know, I myself escaped the world I hated and went into VMK where I was able to meet a family of friends to who today I will never forget. VMK, for three years, has put money into this "promotion" and to simply throw it away? That's ridiculous. Think about the amount of players willing to Pay for VMK? Think about the amount of dollars they could rack in daily.

I personally will be getting on the phone with Disney Online tomorrow morning and will be talking to EVERY person I get on that phone. If I don't get results there I know Disney's weak spot...bad publicity. I will be calling the news tomorrow about it if I have to.

So, I think we should take a stance and stand up for what we have and what we love. VMK has been our second home for years and loosing it would be a sad breakthrough in all our lives.

I would pay to play just to keep it open but the way the game has been run it was inevitable.

In the time since we've launched VMK, we've seen many players come and go, and we're hoping you will graduate from VMK too in particular, to games like Pirates of the Caribbean Online (http://www.piratesonline.com/), Disney's ToonTown Online (http://www.toontown.com/), Club Penguin (http://www.clubpenguin.com/) and the upcoming Fairies and Cars online virtual worlds. We think you'll find you enjoy those just as much as VMK – if not more.


I do not agree with this statement at all. I would not consider moving from vmk to anyone of those games as graduating. I have tried out all of these and none can compare to the excitement of vmk. Vmk is so in depth and with multiple layers it makes it very fun to play. I find it very interesting that all the games we are supposed to "graduate" to charge a monthly fee. this is obviously the main issue. Like almost everyone on this site I wouldn't mind paying to play. Just like world of warcraft, or even toontown, vmk should just be added to that list of pay to play games.

Vmk was a very great place to hang out. I know that every single one of you have worked hard to get what you have now, and for this to come to an end............ it's devastating :(

I've made some great friends here on VMK, I will missing hanging out and playing games. The hosts have been great and I am sad to see this coming to an end.

This is being negative but everybody will be on the 21st saying good bye to all there friends. That means there will be a server crash with all the people. What a terrible day, vmk is closing and you can't even get on.

Sure VMK is closing. How is it the end of the world though?
People are striking for no reason! It is over and the mind is set.
However why are we panicking of the closure? Lets have the best time we can have before it closes. Lets spend all our credits. And maybe in the last couple of days we can pass our stuff down to newer players. They would love to have an inferno for a couple of days.

We all have to face the truth. We all knew it would end. Not a single game would make 100 years. Sure it is hard however disney has more to offer. Disney will make more games for us.

Most people are going to go complaining to VMK but why? The staff are not happy about it either. We can all go whining about VMK closing... or we can have the best month ever.

I am deeply saddned of the closing but I will get over it. I hope all of you could also look at it in a good way.

Wow. I kind of knew this would eventually happen, but wow.. this totally stinks.. i just sent in my letter to Disney, so i'll see what happens there.. i urge everyone else to as well, you never know what could come of it.. but this is really sad.. between the friends we've made, and the creations we've created, to have it gone so soon just plain stinks.. vmk was kind of my get-away, even tho i haven't been on much lately..

it almost seems pointless to buy, create or play anything anymore, doesn't it? we all might as well just throw parties and hang out with our friends.. whats the point in doing anything else?

Letters are great, but i think we should come up with some sort of catchy thing that we could do. For example, A few of my favorite shows a few year back were cancelled, and ppl sent in things that represented the show.

Ex.
Roswell (a tv show)- ppl sent in hot sauce
Tru Calling (another show) - ppl sent in watches

I think that we need to do something that can really SHOW Disney how we feel, and i really hope the fallout from that evil quest was not the reason that they decided to pull the plug. that would be just dumb.

Club Penguin is not VMK. It's not really Disney. It has nothing to do with Disney. They just bought it.

VMK is all about Disney. That is why I started playing. I missed my beloved WDW and was so happy when I found a virtual version.

Regardless of previous thoughts, This was well in the works before the difficult quest was launched. Don't believe for a minute it was due to the complaints of the quest, but you could see it when pay-to-play (pirates, toontown, etc) where being promoted...Even sooner when items when quests where pulled from parks, and any other incentives they may have had (i.e. iPods)...
Yep. This really had nothing to do with that nightmare of a quest. Now the real nightmare begins.

VMK is a community and it's family and friends. They are detroying a community.

I know of some people that are actual real families that only get to see each other in the game. Not just to talk, but to actually play and do something together. They are now destroying these people's lives.

Fact is, VMK really is like Disneyland. Walt wanted a place where families can get together and have a nice, clean place to play together. VMK currently provides this in the virtual world. Now it will be over.

I know several people who got annual passes to the parks just to be able to get quest prizes. How many movies were sold just so that people could get points to get those prizes from DMR?

How many people bought Herbie: Fully Loaded just to get the Herbie stuff for the game?

How many pirates pins have they sold just so people could get those prizes?

How much money is Disney losing now from closing this game?

If they are told how much this will hit their bottom dollar, you can bet they will keep it open.

While the newsletter said that all are moving on to other projects, the Hosts have all said that they haven't been told they're moving on.

Yes she did. I've seen a screenshot elsewhere with her saying it. All the hosts are telling us to write in to Disney.

There was even a screenshot of one of them saying that there are 250,000 active players in VMK. That's a lot of people playing and possibly a lot of dollars Disney will be losing.

Personally, I will be calling, writing both emails and snail mails to the Internet division and sending letters to higher ups.

Bob Iger and Roy Disney should be made aware of how unhappy we all are.

Thank You to all the players on VMK who made my dreams come true. I will never forget The day i ran to every friend online to show them i got my first set of gold doors and a bird hat! Many days walking around VMK wandering why people were SO EXCITED about new magic pins! the day i got black ears and pretended i was a Mousecutear < "please correct spelling" The day i granted someone i met in a room's dream and saw him get excited! Yelling at the NPC ghosts to come out so i could get credits! lol and many more memories.

Thank you Hosts, Staff, and you too Yavn for putting up with our attitude when we didn't like what was going on in VMK. Like not getting a free flag for logging on! or getting angry when one of your rare items was in the Emporium. Thank you Lily for the many wonderful hugs! Ty Phinny and Hula for the awesome games we got to play! Ty Bella for showing me how to use all that many furniture pieces in your cool room makeovers. and lastly Ty Hurricane for coming to my booth to order some icecream, oh yea and for your wonderful and friendly atitude!

I will not give up to fight for VMK, after all it is my home away from home but the good in this situation is that i realized the virtual or "material" items in the game are not what brings me to log on every day but the commuity of friends.

Wow i quit VMK sometime ago, and i still am in shock of this. This is a slap in the face to anyone who has ever played VMK! It's like why in the world did you work hard for earning that inferno? It would all go to lost in the snap of your fingers? I'm sorry but Yavn is really stubborn and horrible to have lied to VMKers and give them this little notice... what happen to those people who worked so hard on that quest? That is so ridiculous.... i seriously hate Yavn because of what he's doing to kids and adults and teens all over the world who played this game. They have people you can message about certain things that like blog on CNN, my dad talked to them once when our travel agent voided our plane ticket and we had to pay a bunch for a new one. Just get lots of people to write to CNN about it too. I'm sure we'll get some coverage.
