something is wrong with vmk for me every time i try to log on i get a black screen plz help :(

- Go to Contact Us and see if you're banned.
- Try downloading Shockwave.
- Your firewall may be blocking it.

I've had this problem, and my VMK used to be fine.

I've done everything possible, and I have no idea how to help.

Don't think it's the computer as it worked fine before. Vmk is listed in the trusted sites, have loaded and reloaded diferent versions of Shockwave, and Flash player. Everything seems to load fine, and if you sit and just stare at the black screen, the "you will be logged off for inactivity screen" pops up. As far as I can tell, we are in the game, just can't see it? Any suggestions? Anyone? lol Thanks in advance

I hadn't been on since last week and when I tried last night, I suddenly couldn't get in. First it said I didn't have shockwave installed, then it moved on to tell me I didn't have the Xtra fonts (whatever they are) and then an error about invalid member and then an error code.

I did all the cache/cookie clearing, double checking settings, blockers, firewalls, etc. - reinstalled Shockwave about 12 times - including uninstalling everything Adobe in between. I reset IE7 to factory defaults. And then I'm back to being told I don't have shockwave repeated.

I emailed tech support and detailed the entire sequence and got back a canned answer telling me to do all the stuff I already did.

I just finished taking the drastic action of downloading IE8 Beta 1 (word of advice: DON'T!!) Now it's uninstalled and I'm back to IE7 and the error messages. So again, now that I have a new IE7 - I reuploaded and ran Adobe's test page and I HAVE Shockwave and Flash.....and VMK still says I don't.

I'm out of ideas - the only thing that I did in the days between visiting VMK - was to run Windows Updates. So unless MS snuck in something that broke VMK.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o(

Every now and then I have this problem, but what I found works, is pressing the F5 button once. After you log in and it sits at a black screen, press it. Let me know if it works for you!

you might want to uninstall Active X control and reload, it But first you need to go to Adobe web site and down load the special uninstall file. do not do it from add and remove on your computer. and also do adobe flash player there is a special uninstall tool you will need. I had the same problem and this fixed it . I also did Java. I removed all first and then down load all back. Ohyeah Uninstall shockwave player and reinstall it. let us know how it went
