I was only ONE-THOUSAND, 1000, a little bit of points away from getting the fireworks pin! Does anyone have any tips that I can use to finally get that pin that I have been playing for? :sadd2:

Read MrGenie's analysis on the stars (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=412&page=2&pp=10) and try to apply that to your playing. You will most definately get that fireworks pin if you apply those principles. They've increased my scores from a previous high of 242K to my highest score 265K (which is on the Best of the Week list, I'm so proud!).

For me, fireworks was all about practice. Also dont think about trying to hit a certain score. Whenever I started a game thinking about hitting a certain score, I never did. If I played just for fun without really thinking about it too much I would constantly hit over 260k.

After several weeks of practice I just made the 240K range. First time I was high score (wouldn't you know) then I managed to get 241K and came in second so it can be done with persistence.

What I did was try to fine tune the first two levels since the fireworks come more slowly and there are fewer patterns to worry about. Then once you can consistently hit flawless-awesome in those, work on the next level. For those who don't have the knack for this game, the steady practice does pay off. You should see your average score creeping up. Also, I agree with Jess. Don't focus too much on the score or worry about who else is playing. Until you get your score into the higher range just focus on your own game.
