I just got into the top ten scores for the first time ever today (lol), and it gave me a mail saying well done and to click the link for my reward.

I do this and ...... NOTHING HAPPENS!
The hour glass goes on for a few seconds and then goes off.

Has anyone else had this happen to them, and how did they get it sorted? Pleae help, I'm dying to know what my 'reward' is (probably a poster lol).

I believe the prize is 100 credits. And I remember I didn't have to do anything to redeem them. They just added the credits the account, no link, no nothing! Check your credit totals, you may be suprised!

I came on the boards today looking for the answer to that very question!

My son played pirates early this morning and got a top 10 score. The VMK message box popped up and said that he had earned a special reward that he was supposed to print out. Under that, it said "Click on this link", and he did, then was directed to another page, which failed to load properly. Arg!!

We still have the message, because we did not delete it, so I am going to contact the VMK staff black hole and see if anything comes of it.

I am wondering if perhaps it is a code to use in the Kellogg's pirate game, in order to play or perhaps get the skull room? That would be so cool!

For what it's worth, I made the fireworks high score list five times yesterday (well, at least the bottom third of the top ten list), but I never received this message so I was kind of disappointed. I wonder if it's only the first time you get on the list. I'll test this out this morning on my wife's account, assuming I can get another high score. ;)

When you click on the last sentence it takes you to a website that appears to be a PDF, but then you get the 404 Error that other people have described. Here is what the link looks like, although I've changed one character (in case this does end up being a single-use code and getting fixed in the future...I want my prize! :)):

At first I thought that maybe the link is a code since it kind of looks like a code (well, actually double the length of a code) but I didn't have any luck entering various fragments of it.

Over the past past few day myself and a few friends have been receiving these messages whenever we hit the high score table on Pirates and Fireworks.

However when you click on the link you get a 404 Not Found, in bot IE and Firefox.

I went to the Contact Us on the Main VMK Page and went through the menus.

There is an option there for quest/prize did not print out, chose that and it asked which game I had won in and when and my e-mail details.

I then got the standard "you will be answered in 24hrs" message.

That was three days ago and guess what? Nothing, not a word.

Has anyone else got:

A. A response from the contact us (ever)?

B. One of these links that has worked and if so what is it?

I have kept shots of all my stuff with dates so if it ever does work I'm ready.

But it is a real shame that it does appear more and more that the contact us link is just a dead end.

Especially when I've seen the staff actually in VMK sending a lot of people there.

OK, I rescind my earlier post. I just got that message today when I made the high score list for Pirates for the first time ever! :) Anyways it looks like a PDF...so maybe you print out the coupon and can use it for something at the parks! More Park/VMK synergy! More money to Disney!

I got that yesterday while playing pirates. I don't have a useable printer so i didn't delete it hoping to get one soon. well, the game crashed and when i returned the message was gone! also I never made it to the leader board either! i wish i had known about taking screenshot for proof! I got that yesterday while playing pirates.Maybe this thing is disabled today. I'm on both the ingame and web site hi score tables for Pirates, yet I didn't receive any strange links. I only got the standard 30 credits for making the ingame list.

Well, it's been 48 hours since I sent my message into the black hole (aka VMK help). No word yet. I'm going to be really annoyed if they fix the link and people start getting cool things and I never do.

The snapshot below provides this message where you can click on a hyperlink, but currently this hyperlink does not work today. The game message states:

The Pirates of the Caribbean (POTC) game does not have specific levels you must play for making top ten list. Playing level 1 earlier tonight I successfully made top ten list numerous times. You can play any level you want, but the scoring methods are quite tricky and I will try to explain:

Player 1 = 45,000
Player 2 (computer) = 5,000
Total Team Score = 50,0000

The high score list within actual game contains individual player high scores. From example, Player 1 above would currently be listed as a high scorer with 45,000 points. Think of VMK POTC game high score list as individual high scores. You must be reviewing high score list from within VMK game.

The VMK web page high scores list is based on team scores http://vmk.disney.go.com/vmk/en_US/community/index? For example, The total team score is actually divided by two (50,000 / 2 = 25,000). The VMK web page high score list would have 25,000 listed under Player 1. Your probably saying why Player 1 would be listed for team score, because I believe you must play only computer opponents. Playing computer opponents ultimately falls under actual Player 1. Off subject but wanted to explain it for ya...

Good news: The two PDFs I bookmarked for getting on the high score list in Fireworks and Pirates actually work today. I do not yet have a link for the Jungle Cruise game.

Bad news: For the Fireworks game you get is a Nemo chair and for the Pirates game you get an Invisibility magic pin, BUT you can only redeem these items in a Disney park. You also get a 14 day Toon Town pass code.

So, for any of you not planning a trip to a Disney park and have no interest in Toon Town, looks like you get a whole lot of nothing. :)

I was going to go ahead and post the links to these PDFs since the prizes are so annoying to me...however, now I am trying to open the links again, and I am getting the following error message now instead of the PDF:

So it seems they are giving the Explorer's Tent Room as the prize for the Jungle Cruise top ten! Not as awesome as an invisibility pin, but hey, it beats a Captain Nemo chair :) Since you can win invisibility from the pirates game (if you managed to get a high score in the first place, presumably this isn't a problem! :)), that makes the Explorer's Tent a more rare prize. If I didn't already have both, I'd be more excited about the tent than the invisibility pin. I agree though; both of them are better than the Nemo chair!

I received this same message a few days ago, and was able to get the PDF document yesterday. The PDF I got says I'd get a VMK bracelet in the parks, which I assume would have a code for something. It didn't mention the Invisibilty pin, which I got later by beating Pirates 10 times at Level 3. Maybe they're giving different prizes for the same game?

Either way, I can't get help to reply to me anyway so I guess I'm just all out of luck. :(

My Fiancé Got his PDF to work today! He made a new character and got a High score for Pirates which sent him a link for the TELEPORTATION pin to be redeemed in Disney World. I wonder if everyone gets different prizes depending on tha game, the level, and their placement on the high score list. I will tell you, however, on his other character he has had 18 out of 20 high scores before and the link never worked for him. I wonder if they have begun to fix it and that is why it worked for him today.

PS make sure you save or print the file right away. As soon as you click the link and you get the PDF, that site ceases to exist as it is deleted immediately to ensure it is one time use only.

I am wondering if they offered the bracelet for a few days but then decided it would be more practical to offer intangible (i.e. VMK pins/furniture/rooms) merchandise instead...at least you don't have to worry about running out of stock! :)

I got this message from fireworks and I clicked on the link and it opened fine for me, it wouldn't let me click it again though. It opened my reward coupon in adobe and I saved it but I have no idea how to share it here. It wouldn't be very hard not to share the part that has the special bar code cause it's right on the bottom and can be cut off easily. so if anyone wants to tell me how to get a picture of something on adobe on to here (maybe something involving taking a screenshot of it? :confused: ) it would be greatly appreciated :)

Open the file and click Ctrl+PrtSc together (make sure you can see the whole file). Open Paint and click Edit, Paste and then save it as a jpeg file. Then you can include it into your post

Have any of you gotten this message more than once? I've only gotten it for Pirates...when the links weren't working yet. I haven't ever gotten it for Fireworks though, which leads me to think that I'll never see this message again on my FlyThenFall account because they'll only count the first time you get on the Top 10 ever. And I'm not for making mule accounts, it feels like cheating to me. ::Sighs::

He was mistaken, and yes, Mr.Genie, it was the Invisibility pin, sorry to say. I was looking forward to Teleportation Magic, but my time will come. It is still a good prize, I think better than the Nemo chair, but not as cool as the Explorer's Tent, my opinion. Something that is good about the coupons, however, is they don't expire for a while. This one goes until September of next year, giving us plenty of time to get to Disney, maybe for our honeymoon :)

OK...I guess I'm out of an Explorer's Tent room. I made my first high score on Jungle Cruise this morning (with less than 23,000 too! :p) and I got my message for the prize. I was on FireFox and I couldn't open the link. Tried to send a message away throught the Call for Help (seeing as I did lose some stuff) and they told me to send an e-mail way to the black hole. Oh well...you win some you lose some...

Fiance has a Mule account, which is how he won the invisibility pin for pirates high score, and something wierd happened today! He won his first level 3 game on his new character (No high score) and recieved the glow in the dark wrist band! He got 2 prizes for one character!

i opened my mail today and noticed they gave me back my extra loot notice even though the link still will not work. also, there is no way to delete it! the delete option is dark so you can't click it. yay! i don't have a printer so can not print it yet.
