Chapter 1 "High Hopes"
Sean looked out the window into the cold, winter storm, "Why do we have to live here, when we could be somewhere where people dont even know what snow is?" he asked himself. The big football game was tomorrow, and they were going to have to play in the snow. He had wtahced the weather, and the snow was supposed to stop that night. If they won this game, they would go to the national championship! "I just hope it's somehwere warm..." he mumbled.
Sean woke up nervous and energetic. It was the big day! He quickly got ready for his game, and ate breakfast. Once he got to the game, the field was cleared off. The team pratcticed for what seemed like hours, until finally, it was kickoff time! Seans friend, Andrew returned the ball to the thirty yard line. Sean gave him a high five. It was a long and grueling game, but it was 21 to 16, the other team winning, with 30 sedonds left, on the other team's one yard line. Sean was on defence. The ball was snapped, it was a pitch to the running back. Sean watched in horror as the running back ran all the way past his teamamtes. Sean pumped his legs and ran as fast as he could towards the running back. He caught up to him at the 5 yard line. Bam! he slammed into him and the football popped loose. He recovered it, and started running.
Chapter 2, Victory, and More Hopes
He was running as fast as he could twoards the goal line. He ran into one guy sending him sprawling. He stiff-armed another. There was only one guy in front of him and the goal line. He hit Sean low, and flipped him into the end zome. Touchdown! He was the referee make the signal, and his teammates mobbed him. He had won the game!
One week later, he got a call from his coach. "Sean, great game out there. Me and the other coach have decided to play our championship game in the Wild World of Sports complex in Walt Disney World. Sean, are you there...?"
Sean wasn't listening. Finally! someplace warm! "Uh, yeah coach im listening. Thats great!" His coach replied "The leauge is paying for everything, even the flight." "allright" he replied "i'll talk to you later!" He couldn't believe it! All his hopes had come true! He started thinking about his trip, and how many times he would ride the rock' n rollercoaster...
Chapter 3, Finally Here! And a try-out[B]
Sean got into Florida at about 10:00 A.M. He checked into the hotel with his family, The All Star Sports Resort. After he had swam in the pool with the team for a while, he turned on the TV. He saw a man on the screen saying "Our mickey characters have seemed to be scaring children because they are too big. Because of this, we will have open try-outs for the slot, and all the other characters on Saturday. The age range is 11-14 years old."
"Whoah!" sean said out loud. "I've always wanted to be mickey!"
On Saturday, Sean got up early to get on the bus to the magic kingdom for the try outs. When he got there, they made him put on a mickey suit. He got up in front of the judges. He didn't know what they would expect, so he had brought along a CD player. He played the song, wich was "harder, better, faster, stronger". He started dancing like a mad-man. He saw confused looks on the judges as he danced like no one was watching. They escorted him out of the building so the next person could preform. He got two calls that afternoon, one was from Andrew, who said "Sean did you get the spot??" Sean answered "no, but I- wait! i have another call, i'll call you back!" He answered the next call. He heared a soft voice say "Congradulations! You have been chosen for the slot of mickey mouse! you can come down to this address whenever you like (she gave him and address), this is the character resort location, where every room is a master suite!" Sean was doumbfounded. He replied "Thanks! I'll head down there right away!" Just as he hung up, he got another call from Andrew. "Sean!!! i Just got the part of Pluto!" "what?!?!" Sean cried out in alarm "I just got the part of mickey! I'll see you at the character resort!"
[B]Chapter 4, Luxury, a bodygaurd, and more luxury
Sean checked in the hotel the next day and was led into his room. He watched in awe as he walked down the marvelous hallways, created just for characters. He walked right into the door of his room, and was thrown backwards. "oops.." sean said, embarresed. He tried to shut out the sounds of people laughing their heads off. When he got into his room, a huge, african-amercian man was sitting in one of the rooms. "Who are you?" Sean asked, a little creeped out. "I'm your bodygaurd." he replied "I was an Ohio State linebacker, and we're gonna be good friends." He said with a smile and a handshake. "What's your name?" Sean asked. "Curtis" he said. "Whoah! Curtis is an awesome name!" Curtis laughed and said " well, you better get yourself used to the place. Our suite has 8 rooms, with a plasma screen TV in each room. You have a sleep-number bed so you can have enough sleep so you dont collapse after a day of kids mobbing you. There is a meeting at 3:00 for all the new characters, and dinner is at 5:30. Before then, you can hang around in the parks and do whatever you want. You dont have to be in the costume just yet" Sean was so excited, finally! somplace warm to stay at for my summer!
Chapter 5, a new friend
Sean was walking through main street, when he saw a little boy hiding between a bench and a trachcan. Sean walked over and asked what was wrong. "I used to lvie in Africa" he said " But my parents were in trouble with the law, so they started teaching me english, i didn't know why. They sailed over to America, in fear of getting caught in Africa. They thought it was too dangerous to have a kid with them, so they just dropped me off in florida. I wandered around a bit, and ended up at these gates. I finally got a family to let me in with them, then i just hid whenevr it was closing time. I have been living like this for about a month now, and i have to eat out of the trash cans just for food." Sean was shocked. How could a little boyIlive like this? "How old are you, and what is your name? Sean asked. "im 7, and my name is Adam" "Hi adam! I'm Sean." Adam started crying out of nowhere. "Whats wrong" Sean asked sympatheticly. "I hate my life!" Adam cried out "I dont get why i have to live like this! Every night i have to run like mad to stay away from the cast members. Once, i even had to hide inside of that big mansion things, with all the ghosts in it. It was really scary!" He continued to cry. "I'll be right back, dont go anywhere!" Sean started running towards the Cast members only building. He found what he was looking for, and ran back. "Whoah!" Adam yelled "Who is that guy in the mickey suit?" "It's me!" Sean caleld out " I bet you didn't know i was Mickey!" "No, i had no idea! Thats really neat!" Sean had an idea. "Guess what? In my suite i have an extra bed you can sleep in, will that be ok?" "That would be great! Thanks Sean!" So off they went to the hotel, trying to think of a plan to get in.
Chapter 6, New beginnings
The check out lady at the Character resort, Marge, usually didn't have to deal with anything too strange, other than a bunch of sweaty people walking in with costumes on. But this time, it was just weird. She had just started her shift, when a short mickey walked in the door holding hands with a small boy. "Who's this?" she asked. The mickey took off it's head (not literally) It was a boy, about 12 years old she presumed. "I'm sean, and this is Adam. His parents asked me to watch him for the day, is that allright?" "Well sure! Go right ahead" Sean and adam walked to the elevator, filled with relief. "I can't believe she believed us!" Sean whispered " I thought for sure she would catch on to us!" When Adam walked into the room, he was amazed. "You live here??" He asked, shocked. "Yeah, meet curtis, I dont think he'll care if you stay here for a while." As they introduced Adam to Curtis, Sean came up with yet another idea. "Hey! why dont we all go down to the parks and ride some rides!" They all agreed, and they ran off to catch the next bus. They went to Hollywood studios, and decided to ride the rock' n rollercoaster. When it started, Sean almost lost his mind. "Man! this is fast!" He screamed. When they got off, he heard a little girl screaming, and Curtis' mouth was wide open, with no sound coming out. "Curtis why are you-" he started. He realised it was Curtis screaming, and not a little girl! Sean almost fell over laughing, and said "Curtis! the ride is over now!"
"oh..." Curtis said, embaressed. After that, they rode Mission:Space at Epcot. Once again, he heard the "little girl" scream, and almost fell over. They decided to ride one last ride, "It's a small world". This time, all three of them were the "little girls". "Ah!" Sean cried out "How could anyone survive that ride? Just like they have a 'I survived Tower of terror shirt, they should have an 'I survived It's a smal lworld' shirt!" "I agree", said curtis obiously still embarresed. Then Sean remembered, he had a meeting! Curtis and Adam went back to the hotel room, and Sean ran to the meeting. They learned how to deal with small kids that are scared, all the hand motions that they use to communicate, and self defense for the occasional person screaming "MICKEY!!!" and running at full speed towards them. (just kidding!) The next day, Sean started his job.
Chapter 7, First day of The Job
John was a big, muscular man, who didn't enjoy being at disney world. He thought it was for kids only, and not big burly men. The whole time while he was walking towards main street, he was complaining to his wife about how childish it was. Then he caught sight of mickey, standing just at the entrance of Cinderella Castle. He had a flashback, of him watching Walt Disney ride around in his own train in his backyard, and watching mickey on TV. "MICKEY!!" he screamed, and started running towards him as fast as he could!
Sean had just got to work, when he was a big, burly man running right for him! He tried to dodge, him, but was slammed into a trashcan by the full force of the man. "Ooof!". "Oops... Sorry Mickey!" John's kids sat there staring, their mouths going down to the ground. His daughter asked "Mommy, why did Daddy hurt mickey" "umm... Daddy was.. uh... I dont really know.. I dont know this man!" she said, as people walked by staring at her like she was as crazy as her husband.
Sean got a small break, to rest after the big man gone wild attacked him. He went right back out, and started signing autographs. "This is gonna be great!" He thought.
Chapter 8, Time Blows By
A few months had passes, when Sean returned to his hotel room after a couple of days away only to find Curtis and Adam gone. "They were supposed to be here!" He yelled. He went straight to his boss and asked what happened. His bos replied "Sean, i hate to tell you this, but we have found a small boy living in your hotel. He could not prove he had any parents. They took him to child services. Child services found out he had gotten a bad disease from a needle that must have been injected to him back in Africa. They had to take him to the hospital right away" Sean was stricken with fear "Can't people get really sick from that?" "I'm afraid they can Sean. They called me earlier today, saying that he got much, much worse. You might want to go visit him before things get any worse than they are now" Sean didn't need a car, the adreneline was already flowing through his body as he ran. He was still in his mickey suit, running down the street. A doctor at the door of the hospital greeted him, saying "Uh.. sir? The mental building is just down the roa-" "No, i need to see a small boy named Adam, is he here?" "Yes, im afraid we might not be able to help him." Sean walked into the room. "Hey Adam I-I'm really s-sorry". Sean burt out crying, he could faintly hear the beep of the machine, showing Adam had moved on. Sean was crying like a baby now. Curtis walked in a put a hand on his shoulder "It's allright Sean. You'll see him again someday." But Sean wouldn't hear of it. "I-I just cant b-believe it h-happened!" "We all have to go through tough times Sean. I think its preparing us for the worst time of our life. Who knows when it will happen, but it's showing us that no matter how bad things are, you have to move on. You can't just sit around acting like nothing ever happened. You have to move on sometimes, Adam was my friend too, so i know how you feel." "I j-just didn't get to s-say goodbye." Sean staretd crying again. "It's allright Sean. we'll make it through.
Chapter 9, A Rough Ending, And A Funeral
Sean couldn't stop himself from crying at the services either. He couldn't believe what had just happened. After Adam passed on, Sean just sat in his room, staring at the wall. Wondering why he had to go through this. "And Adam thought his life was bad..." Sean would mumble over and over. He was depressed for a while, and got a break from working. At the end of the service, he placed a small mickey statue on top for Adam "I'll never forget you little guy" Hes said, full of sorrow, and grief. He had a flashback of when his own father was in the hospital, he had Lou Garricks Disease, which you cant really recover from. Sean didn't know this. His dad's last words to him where "Come see me" And Sean said "Ok". The next day was July 4th. He woke up to his mom saying "Sean, Dad passed away in the hospital". He shivered, as the priest was talking. He came back into his senses, and saw Curtis crying too. Sean said "It's gonna take a while, but we can make it through. We're strong, just like Adam was strong. We won't forget him, and he will be remembered forever." Curtis nodded, he was too full of grief to talk.
A month later, a documentary was made about Curtis, Adam and Sean. It was premiered in theatres across the globe. Sean didn't want the fame, he wanted people to realise how bad the disease was. He started the stop the disease program, and he and Curtis were the leaders. Curtis became a cast member/body guard at Disney World. And about that football game. There was a moment of silence held, remembering the life of Adam. Sean sacked the quarterback for a safety to win the game. There was a standing ovation for him as he left the stadium. Sean grew up, and became a cast member at Disney World. He and Curtis will be friends forever.

I did not intend to relate any of the characters to real life people, and if they did it was a coinsidence. Sean, Curtis, and Adam are not real people. Thanks for understanding!
