Fin told us that the teleporter just go to the other rooms, 6 in total, they did that so she can move from one room to another once she spend some time with you and do a trivia question.

there are only 6 rooms and 2 "groups" of hosts visiting them. They stay in the room for no more than 5 minutes. You'll get visited very soon :)

that's the risk of not having a host in each room.. some ppl won't leave the room. I joined rooms, the first one at 70 in line and the other without having to wait. I left the room after we got visited and so did everyone that was in that first group, a lot of them followed Fin and Harmony through the gold door and others just left the room like me.
Now I'm waiting in the music game lobby in queue for the other room and as you say, it's almost not moving.
Sadly, a lot of players won't move until they get a prize :(

Maybe what hosts should do is this: once they give out the prize, boot EVERYONE from the room and let others have a chance to get in to wait for a host!

They could get back in a line to wait again.

That would make the lines move much faster, and be more fair to those of us waiting just for a chance to get in!

I've been waiting an entire hour! Nobody will leave the room and i feel like ripping my hair out >_<

I've been 20th in line for quite a while. The lines aren't moving. Hope to get it before it closes.

That was fun when only 50 people could get into any line, and the game just consistently kept crashing...Hmmm, Now that I think of it I wonder if it was still only 50 people in queue, but pretty sure it was...

omg! an hour! i think thats ridiculous! we have to wait 2 hours in line then another hour in the room so we can see a group of staff who should split up and conquer so one person can get a really cool prize from what i can only assume is a simple question that will get super rigged from all the lag!!!

i would agree. i think this is one of the worst events vmk has put together. get in line, wait FOREVER, get in room and wait some more. then lag is so bad that is it hard to answer the trivia questions that only one person gets a prize. sorry not happy with this event at all.

3 of the people on my friends list have been in since it opened!

I think this is a brand new message because of the complaints.

It's been a half an hour and the line has dropped about 130 people. This is pretty long.

I went to eat dinner and my line finally moved.. he.. I missed my spot :Tongue:

So, I have been waiting in line for almost 1 hr 45 min to get into a room where I will be waiting for who knows how long for a staff to come in, ask a trivia question and award a prize that I probably already have to one person? I'm going to bed. Good night!

why are you disappointed with pirate quest??? Pirate couches are tough to get, that's a great prize. Sure beats something like gold hat chair that everyone has a million of by the end of the month

no, the group A is the first group of players that enters the room, group B is the next group, etc.

Personally I'm not a big fan of trivia as a way to award prizes, just for myself I found the room had so much lag with all the magic and dancing that anything I typed showed up long after I had typed it. ( not that I was right with my answer ;) but if I was.. )

i'm in line at number 83 now, been there for a while. i won't get in, but i've had a good night. great credits from pirates and finally got the pin i needed. hope this goes better next time we have it.

I thought it closed at 8:30 pst. well, my number just came up in the queue and i clicked to get in. A popup message said it was a guest room with limited space. the counter went all the way down and it's over for me...... anybody have a clue what that was about? there should have been room for me in the room when my number came up. oh well.

I never got in. The line was way too long and there was lots of lag tonight. I haven't been a player for long on vmk but i thought that it was poorly run. The rooms look great and the prizes are awesome but they could've run it much better.

This was the worst event ever!
1. I waited in line for 1 1/2 hours to get in
2. Lion comes in the room stays for 2 minutes doesnt ask any trivia questions
3. Stayed in room for another 45 minutes and never saw another host
4. There was no organization to keep the lines moving, these rooms were more of a hang out and hope staff came in and gave prizes.

You had to get in right when it opened. This is Dreams Month 2.

From what I heard, Hula is going around to every party room and doing trivia. Once she does trivia, she asks everyone in the room to leave so more people can come in.

I haven't heard anything about the trivia prizes though.

Actually, the next (and also last) P & P Party is this Friday, 3-14, not next week. ;)

I got in to the last room as soon as it opened, and Hula showed up about 15 minutes later. The lag was super-bad for me, but I won the trivia and got a Fire Wall for the prize! Plus, everyone did get a Treasure Detector pin by leaving through the river porter.

well i went into POTC lobby just before the event and crashed. computer wouldn't load anything. I just got back on and got in line. I decided to pass time with some pirates, just crashed again. no more pirates for me tonight.

I got in to the last room as soon as it opened, and Hula showed up about 15 minutes later. The lag was super-bad for me, but I won the trivia and got a Fire Wall for the prize! Plus, everyone did get a Treasure Detector pin by leaving through the river porter.

i moved down 300 in a hour so about 50 ppl every ten minutes 5 every minute :)

I didn't bother this time around. After looking over last weeks event, there's not point. Worst ran event in quite a while (if you don't count the Gingerbread mishap).

right there with ya buddy if all u do is wait in line to wait i9n a room until a host comes asks a question then only 1 person gets a prize no way O_o however i would like to see the rooms

I finally got in. As said earlier, prize for going through river teleporter is Treasure Detector Single Use. Here is a picture of the exit room! :)

Hula was just here. She asked three questions. Two people won fire windows, the third won a bird hat. We all got single use treasure detecter when we left through the river porter. :)

I am 32 in line for the "Elegant" room. I haven't been to this party in WDW since we always fly in for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in October. It's so cool to be able to experience a little bit of it on VMK!

It was really nice that VMK staff reminded everyone about the event with their messages 15 and 5 minutes away from the event. This must be a new thing? I like it!

There was no trivia, she gave the prizes out at random. One person got a couch, one for a firewall, one got a stool/pole and one got a pirate sand rug. I just asked her to play trivia for fun but she didn't have the time.

Oh and PLEASE everyone if you are waiting in a room, NO MAGIC and NO DANSING. Fin requested this as it makes lag/crash for her and everyone else.
