Finally got on.

Thanks again to SpinMarty for mapping the first rooms. I did some rework in anticipation of more guests wanting to link in. I also wanted to allow room for other networks (like the DIS Board group) to link.

The overall plan now has the original Master (now called VMK Fan Site Master Central). From this port all secondary "magic" hubs (VMK Central Red, Green, Gold, Purple and Black) are placed.

Also from the Master Central port is the new teleporter leading to the VMK Fan Site Master Adventures hub. This is marked by crossed spears. The Master Adventures hub will hold teleporters to adventure themed rooms (Nautilus, Wild West, Tiki, Pirates, Space, etc.). Ocean Side Red, Ocean Side Gold, Sea Base I, and Rocket Blue are now in this hub.

We still have some room in the exisiting secondary ports but as new guests join up and find out about the network we will need more secondary hubs. Also, my inability to get on today at late this afternoon makes me a little nervous being one of two who can help with the teleporters so I think it would be a good idea to add some more rooms.

We have plenty "magic" rooms now. We can support one more Tiki room, one more Nautilus, and one more Space. If someone wants to provide one of the special rooms (Explorer Tent or Haunted Mansion) we will be delighted to accept so that these rooms can be shown off. We're okay for now so don't feel you need to provide rooms unless this is something you really want to do.

Thanks very much for everyone's generosity in helping get this started. SpinMarty, I'm sorry you have to remap some things. Most of the secondary hubs are still intact as far as guest teleport placement so it shouldn't be too bad.

I may be able to support a room. How about you call it... VMK Fan Site Ocean Side Green! If I have it ready as expected, it will be ready tomarrow.

Hopefully I can get on tomorrow with less trouble. If you go to the Master Central port and then to the Master Adventures port you will be able to see how Ocean Side Red and Yellow are set up. In addition to a teleporter set, you will need to provide two green crates and three green tikis. Unfortunately, MrGenie and I are both tapped out and can't support the Port Teleport accessories (such as candles) for the later rooms. At least not until we can play some games and earn some credits again.

Thanks to everyone again for all their suggestions and help. Main thing...have fun. I plan to do some real exploring of links tomorrow.

I have room for some more teleporters in the VMK Fan Site Purple room. Let me know if you need to link up. :)

OK I totally applaud everyone's efforts on this but I think the need for two main rooms isn't necessary. I know I sound like a broken record but you can totally shove more teleporters in the existing rooms.

However, we are only going to stick them around the perimeter to allow for a smooth flow of traffic and overall asthetic appeal. If you look at Master Central, folks, you will see a new teleporter donated by Bezoar. This one is beside the Master Adventure teleporter and is flanked by two Swords in the Stone. It leads to a Space Room "Place Between Worlds" which will serve as the connecting point between major Disney forum groups. For now, we and the DIS Board are connected via this hub. The hope is that some of the other groups will also want to link their networks into that connector. And no, SpinMarty, you don't have to map theirs. I'm sure the DIS Board would be very happy to let you wander their forums to get an idea of who is where in their network.

Remember when adding teleporters that anyone is welcome. So if you get the guest in your room saying, "Cool, how do I join this" please send them to a port master. The purpose of this network is to support all VMK guests. If you prefer to keep your rooms a bit more private, you are welcome to link in with a lobby room and your own network of close associates. Or, as I have done, you may chose to keep one room out of the link entirely so that only you and your friends are apt to go there.

Those who want to provide rooms for secondary ports can organize through me. We're set on magic rooms and have quite a few adventure rooms. I think we're okay for now as we have lots of space in the existing rooms.

One note: trains, boats, teacups do take a lot of room and are also a bit "twitchy". If you can possibly go with the coffin, it really does work better.
