has anybody seen War of the Worlds?
I saw on Wed. and I loved it.
Two thumbs up! ( If I had any thumbs after seeing Bewitched. I had to gnaw them off to survive. * sobs * )
Oh yeah what are your thoughts on the movie?

I saw it Friday. My Favorite Movie Of all time. But One thing. Why did the news crews Cameras work when everything else was broken?

Oh my gosh, I loved War of the Worlds!! I think that may be the scarriest movie Ive seen in a while. House of Wax was bad, but this was just disturbingly scarry.

Justin Chatwin [Robbie] is now my new favorite person ever. Too bad he's 23. If I was just a year older, that would be totally legal.

And you have to love Florida weather's perfect timing. I walk out of the theatre, and start walking to my car with my friend. Its thundering, then its starts raining and getting harder and harder, then lighting hits right behind the movie theatre. Needless to say, we ran the rest of the way to the car and got out of there.

i's like to know how scary the aliens are (please no pictures as im scared of the alien in the great movie ride and that's not scary) because spielburg (or however you spell it) was trying to keep them not aseen even when the ochestra was playing he had to put squares over the aliens so they don't see them

I thought the movie was great. Action all the way through and the scene in the basement has got to be the most tension filled scene in awhile. My only complaint was that the ending was a little anti-climatic after what the rest of the movie was. Tom Cruise might be in hot water right now because of all the things he has said lately, but he was awesome in this movie! :luxhello:

My thoughts exactly. Especially with the whole Robbie situation. Speilberg really should have gone more in depth with that ending.

Wow, that was a great movie!! I was seriously shivering the entire time... and I've never been in a theatre that silent!! The entire movie had everyone on the edge of their seat... especially the scene in the basement, wow!!! But you just never knew what was going to happen the entire movie. A lot of people think it's very disturbing... well, I don't think it's quite that. But yes, VERY freaky. Defidently the best sci-fi movie of all time!! :p

Whoever asked what the aliens looked like... well, you really only saw them once (in the basement, the freaky scene that everyone's talking about!!). They weren't like freaky or disgusting, and they didn't really do anything. The main guy and his daughter where in the basement of a house hiding from them, and they came in the check things out. They never saw the people, they were just looking at photo albums and were fascinated by a spinning wheel on a bike. I actually thought they were kind of cute. Just typical blue aliens with those big ol' black alien eyes! :p

Yeah, Tom Cruise was great! And so was Dakota Fanning. She's very talented, but she's only 11 years old and the only movies that she's in are rated either PG-13 or R. I just think that's kind of odd.
