I think its good the line seems to be moving faster then normal pin trading events I started at about 350 and now am at 130 in about an hour.

it was real. like Dino said, the line is moving a lot faster than regular pin trading events. in about an hour, i've gone from 630 down to 236. every now and then, it seems to slow down.

I made it it! I traded phinny a 5* Buried in treasure magic pin and a gift. I then told her, "Thanks for having this event!" She replyed,"Wow" and then said "Which pin would you like?" I said "Tink pin please" she then added the tink pin, I waited for her to click accept. All of a sudden out of no where she added a Eye pin! I was VERY surprised! I then thanked her and accepted the trade. I am not the only one to have this happen to, my friend HathowayB (AdventureresClub) traded phinny a 5* bat magic and got a tink pin and eye pin also! Woot Phinny rocks!

I am referring to the three open sided towers with crowns on top and blue bottoms in this picture. If I am not mistaken, that is Schmoofy himself standing in one. Can someone who made it into the room confirm that these were in fact teleporters?

While I'm not going to cry, "Favoritism!" over this, I certainly don't believe that these pins are given out randomly, but rather at the whims of the hosts. And that, of course, is not fair. Still, it's not like I even bothered to enter the queue, and I do congratulate all the proud new owners of the Mighty Eye. :)

I talked to Phinny about this. 10 Eyes were given out. some to GUESTS. ( so maybe not faovrtism, but still thinking it might have a little to do with it )
She also said next month, she will have MANY pin trading events [ waves flag ] I have pictures of her saying it, but being regi-modded I cannot post them.

In my opinion ( not that it matters) Any pin that was not offered to all who entered the room and offered only in trade box to "friends of Phinny" is not random.

The point is not how successful a poorly planned month theme was; my point was the "surprises" were random, very much like Dream Month was in that aspect. No one except Phinny knows exactly who received a bonus pin, perhaps there was a pattern she followed. I do not believe anyone is trying to make Phinny or any other host a villain. The point that was being made is that it does not appear to be as random as we are all lead to believe.
We are all very greatful for the time that the hosts spend putting together these events.

It was a clarifying of how "random" the giving of a pin to "good friends" is (that is how a post above said recipients were chosen). I personally don't know if that is how it happened at all. I'm not offended :). I just wanted to make clear the purpose of my post. As I stated above, I was only addressing the word random, NOT flaming Phinny or any other host. I neither attended the pin trade nor do I have an opinion on whether the gifts were randomly given (nor do I care honestly, it's a game afterall ;)).
