my computer is new about 1 year old. 2gbs of memory and did not have this problem before last year it was fine. any help.oh yea, any way to get the vmk playing screen to fill the hole screen?

You might want to use VMKPal (http://vmkpal.com/Download.aspx). It was created by one of our members so it's totally secure.

Have you tried pressing F5 when this bug occurs?

That happens to me since I have Firefox as one web provider too. When I am logged in and I get to the welcome screen, I log out, then log back in. It works most of the time for me.

Can you not grab the lower right corner and resize the window to fit VMK? If I recall correctly, Firefox can be resized any time while Internet Explorer requires one to go full screen and then restore with F11 twice to resize.

As for getting VMK to fill the screen, you would have to change the screen resolution to the same size as the game (800x600 I think). The game resolution is fixed so you have to adjust your computer to it. Most players I know find that to be a hassle.

Good luck!

Good luck! This happens to me too; both with Firefox and Explorer. Once you've logged in, there's nothing you can do but scroll down to where the actual VMK screen begins, and then the display is a little off.

I have found the best solution is to pay attention at the very start of login. If the VMK logo does not appear and you see a black screen instead, that's an indicator that the problem is about to happen. Don't start the whole login over; just refresh it. It only takes a moment if you're using the secure login page.

I agree with alice, I've learned to pay attention at the very beginning. She's right about the VMK logo appearing or not. If doesn't appear right away I just refresh.
