"HOST_Hula's room will not be opening due to technical problems. HOST_Lily's Ask the Host room will open at 10:30 Pacific Time.

That's quite disappointing :/

Hmm, I kinda dont understand the timing though. They say 10:30 Pacific and Lily's room has been open now since 8:30 pacific. I hope it doesn't close and then reopen. I'd hate to lose my spot in line. :(

Woot! I just barely, and I mean BARELY, got into the room. When I got in, Lily was already announcing that everyone gets a free treasure detector magic pin single-use for being the last in the room. :)

Lily hosted this same event (same room too) during Royal month. I'm sure the hosts know a lot about VMK and other things too ;)

well i got a lovely "we are closed" message...dosen't seem all that fair to me that they open an event because one host couldn't make it and then only leave it open for an hour during the schedule time...

I'm pretty disappointed about the whole event thing. Oh well, try try again.

If you're talking about the VMK Staff Alert to the Queue message, it's not new. Yavn mentioned it in a newsletter a long time ago that staff would be able to send a message to people waiting in line or using the VMK Pass.

I got there at the last stretch after 2 minutes of closing and got the treasure detector pin which turned out to be a dud, but I would have rathrer spoke to Lily in all truth. Another Pin Switch Trick event I am going to miss grrr. Oh well I hope the next month has some really tripping events in store :)

Actually, the event was open the entire scheduled time, at the top of the popular room list. However, the informative pop up didn't occur until well into the event which was probably a result of many people messaging vmk (or directly asking Lily) where the scheduled pin trading event was.

The room was not open at the scheduled time. I was opened much earlier. And then closed an hour into the scheduled event time.

I believe Chele was saying that an alternate room was opened -- no where in her post did she deny it being opened at one time or the other

Ok, I apologize. I get confused with the time conversion. It opened at 11:30 and closed 1:30 est which means it was open for 2 hours (8:30 - 10:30 pacific) so it opened an hour early and closed an hour early. However, it was still open for 2 hours and was still an alternative to the event that vmk was not able to host.

At this point, we don't know why the other host was not in vmk (sorry, I dont know off the top of my head if it was Fin or Hula) or why they had to alter the schedule. Hosts really do the best they can and we all need to cut them some slack sometimes instead of constanly belittling them for every problem that arises in vmk. They get the brunt of the in-game complaints by players because they are our front line contacts and yet really do try to have the average players best interests at heart.

Kudos to Lily, Hula and Fin for putting up with each and everyone of us . . . with a smile and kind word. Thank you ladies, for being our "fun makers" and supplying us with endless games, quests, rides, and special events. Your hard work and endless dedication is very much appreciated by the masses of vmk players.
