Disney songs..lol, i dont like rap and rock and so i listen to Disney!

i like r&b, rock, some rap, and gospel i also love musicals so i guess that is a type of music

OMG, I love classical music!!! Beethoven, Debussy, Janacek and William Kraft are my homeboys! (And I've actually met William Kraft, twice! ::Faints:: )

And I like Alternative/Indie Rock (I.E. The Mars Volta, The Magnetic Fields, The Aquabats, Belle and Sebastian, etc.)

Well, my musical tastes are pretty spread out -- Nico, Tiny Tim, Madonna, Cocteau Twins, Elliot Smith. As far as classical music goes, I just can't listen to it. Not really sure why, either.

It changes, as with everything else. I always tend to gravitate back to the alt-country/Americana/roots-rock, though: Wilco, Jayhawks, Old 97's, Bottle Rockets, etc.

"Out of My Head" and "You're an Ocean" got quite a bit of airplay though, so that's why I know them and <3 them. Both are quite fun to belt out on the keyboard and croon (particularly effective for clearing out house guests who have overstayed their welcome).

Oh sheesh, I'm gonna show my age here :eek: I like 80's music mostly (my favorites: The Cure, Depeche Mode, U2), but also like newer stuff. Once in awhile I will listen to country, new age or heavy metal.

I'm a cross-genre kinda guy. I love true goth rock (if there is such a thing) and bands like:

Switchblade Symphony, Blackmore's Night, Dresden Dolls, Flowing Tears, Lacuna Coil, Macbeth, Opera IX, Octavia, The Misfits (WITH Glenn Danzig), Persephone, Sirenia, Within Temptation, Xandria, Alice in Darkland, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Lullacry and Jack off Jill, Siouxsie and the banshees, Bauhaus, The Cure, Joy Division (off the top of my head).

I happen to be a big fan of "Emo" (mostly Emocore and Heartcore): Finch, A Static Lullaby, The Early November, Greeley Estates, Dopamine, Funeral For A Friend, Story of the Year (and I suppose they can be called Emo: Brand New)

Industrial is also getting to me. I'm new to it, so I only have a few likes in that section: Rammstein, NIN, Skinny Puppy and Velvet Acid Christ (not as bad as the name suggests, very ambient actually).

I could go on forever with Metal since I like almost all of it's subgenres: Psychadelic metal, heavy metal, thrash metal, black metal, doom metal..

In short, I like "Gothic" (if that genre exists, cosI believe it doesn't it's what you want to make it!), Emo, Metal and Industrial.

I feel so guilty! I'm usually attached to anything on the Top 20 countdown playlsit but still I'm a big Broadway fan! My two favorite plays are Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables with Mama Mia coming in third. If I have to listen to country I listen to Toby Keith. I also Love John Williams music. Basically I'll listen from anything from 'Walk Away' to 'All I ask of You'

I like all kinds, just as long as when I play them loud, my subwoofer is moving!! lol. It doesn't take much to get my 390 watt woofer booming. I even knocked a picture off the wall with it at -46. The volume on there is in negatives. Like -32 is pretty loud but -80 is almost silent.
