Well, I Think It Is A Thread... But What Really Is It?

It's an important informative or a merged thread consisting of a really informational post and/or something that should be fixed.

A Sticky is a thread that is "stuck" to the top of a particular forum if it has important information in it.

For example, the Disney Online Worlds forum has a Wiki needs an edit (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94968) thread, which is for non-editors to suggest edits for the wiki. The Virtual Guides & Help Info (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40) board has a lot of stickies relating to commonly asked questions about VMK.
